Cowboys and the Tea Party political movement have a lot on common. Both believe in individual responsibility; judging a man by his actions not words; and, both are disgusted with government intrusions into our lives and particularly our God given rights.

According to Pete Stark - The US Government Can Do Anything It Wants
Video on the town hall meeting where Pete Stark, D-CA (where else?) is confronted by a very articiulate lady who basically asks "what are the limits of Government" and Pete (who resembles Eeyore the Donkey from Winnie the Pooh) says the US Government can do basically anything it wants.
