I am urging everyone to become educated about the U.S. Constitution and the electoral process. Vote! Get someone else interested as well. In fact, get a dozen. In my mind an individual loses the "right" or at least the credibility to complain when they do not do anything to fix the problem. And as we as well know, the problem is Obama, his Administration, his leftist-socialist views, and his path to destruction of the American Way of Life which is grounded in individual rights and responsibilities, freedom to pursue happiness and a capitalist economic system based on the fundamentals of supply-demand-innovation-and initiative as opposed to an Federal Government run entitlement system which seeks to enslave people by making them dependent upon government handouts.
This is my Spring Reading List leading up to the Republican Convention and to be honest I'm sure it'll take me way past Spring to read that.........
Cowboys and the Tea Party political movement have a lot on common. Both believe in individual responsibility; judging a man by his actions not words; and, both are disgusted with government intrusions into our lives and particularly our God given rights.

The Conversation:
President Obama: "On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but it’s important for him to give me space."
President Medvedev: "Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you."
Obama: "This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility."
Medvedev: "I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir."
Deputy National Security Adviser for strategic communications, Ben Rhodes, explained in circles trying to negate the damage down by Obbama exposing his arrogance, saying words to the effect that "there is room for the U.S. and Russia to reach an accommodation, but there is a lot of rhetoric around this issue in both countries."
Another idiot from the Administration was reported by ABC news as saying "This is a political year in which the Russians just had an election, we’re about to have a presidential and congressional elections — this is not the kind of year in which we’re going to resolve incredibly complicated issue like this. So there’s an advantage to pulling back and letting the technical experts work on this as the president has been saying.”
Maybe Obama did know the microphone was on,...maybe he just can't help boast about his belief that he will be elected again. Maybe there is another plan all together. And all this from a President who believes he can act without Congress.

A Houston Women was arrested, jailed, and charged with manslaughter after shooting a purse snatcher 6 Times in the back as the purse snatcher was trying to make off with this Ladie's purse.
As the woman was called in front of the arraignment Judge, sworn-in, and asked to explain her actions, the verbal exchange occurred something like this:
The woman replied, "I was standing at the corner bus stop for about 15 minutes, waiting for the bus to take me home after work. I am a waitress at a local cafe. I was there alone, so I had my right hand on my pistol in my purse hanging on my left shoulder. All of a sudden I was spun around hard to my left. As I caught my balance, I saw a man running away with my purse. I looked down at my right hand and saw that my fingers were wrapped tightly around my pistol. The next thing I remember is saying out loud, "No Way Punk! You're not stealing my pay check and tips." I raised my right hand, pointed my pistol at the man running away from me with my purse, and started squeezing the trigger of my pistol!
When asked by the arraignment judge, "Why did you shoot the man 6 times?"
The woman replied under oath, "Because, when I pulled the trigger the 7th time, it only went click."
The woman was acquitted of all charges. She was back at work the next day!

Obamacare Arguments Continue
With all the news programs analyzing arguments at the Supreme court over Obamacare and with past and present politicians interviewed for their slant on the issue and which direction the Supreme Court will rule, a new low was "achieved" when Fox News interviewed Arlen Specter (D-PA) who of course used to be Arlen Specter (R-PA).
Specter, whose total commitment is to himself, his status and of course his golden benefits from being a U.S. Senator, said that Obamacare was totally legal and justified and that since (he thinks) the Supreme Court is the most politicized court in history, they may rule against Obamacare,..blah, blah, blah.
Here's a hint you old dried up, selfish butt clown of a Senator,......the issue IS NOT what you think is good for the American people - that's an arrogrant position to take anyway,...you and the Dems, who passed this into law without even reading the damn thing, think you know what is best for the American people. That's not your end state anyway. Your goal is to grab power for the central government and turn the population dependent upon the Federal government for simple existence.
Some will argue that the issue pertains to the destructive nature of Obamacare on the economy and business. While this is true, this is a very destructive law, the issue of it's effects on the economy is not a concern for the Supreme Court.
Make no mistake about it, the issue IS the constitutionality of Obamacare……whether the Federal Government can mandate/require the People to purchase a product.....and the Government can leverage a penalty if we don't purchase the product. What's next? Requiring the People to buy a electric car?

Obamacare - Challenged in Court
Today, Monday 26 March, begins the arguments at the Supreme Court on the Constitutionality of Barack Obama’s signature freedom killing legislation. Pro-Constitutionalists and Entitlists both will be watching this very closely. Most predict that in any case the ruling will come from a slim 5-4 majority.
And then of course, no national issue, especially one that is disrediting the democrats so badly would be complete without Nancy Pelosi running her mouth. Nancy’s statement: ”I appreciate my colleague's leadership on helping us honor what our founders put forth in our founding documents, which is life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness,”……..“and that is exactly what the Affordable Care Act helps to guarantee.”
Pelosi continues: ”A healthier life, the liberty to pursue happiness, free of the constraints that lack of health care might provide to a family,”……“if you want to be photographer, a writer, an artist, a musician, you can do so. If you what to start a business, if you want to change jobs, under the Affordable Care Act, you have that liberty to pursue your happiness.”
Well, what can you say about Pelosi? Nobody thinks of her as having cognitive function. She is mostly referred to in terms like village idiot.
All this coming on the heels of Obama trying to take religious freedoms away by mandating religious institutions to provide birth control against their religious and moral objections.
It has been two years since the Democrats crafted the Obamacare law behind close doors then passed this monstrosity without reading it.
The law was quickly challenged by states' attorneys general from multiple states, while congressional Republicans vowed to "repeal and replace" it. The new regulation also galvanized the tea party movement, which was credited with changing the political landscape and driving home a Republican-swinging 2010 midterm election which gave the Republicans a victory of historic proportions.
Of course, Americans being Americans, and having several other more pressing issues such as paying bills (and playing sports) have long since put Obamacare on the back burner, especially since various parts of the law take effect at different times. But that sure did not keep a butt load of organizations from getting “waivers” from the Administration. Mitt Romney had it right when he said as President he would direct his Attorney General to grant a waiver to every state, effectively nullifying Obamacare.
A recent Gallup poll found that only 1 in 7 respondents said they had experienced something positive from the law.
A recent Congressional Budget Office (CBO) report estimated that 5 million people may lose their employer-based insurance between 2019 and 2022. The CBO also found that 2 million fewer uninsured Americans would gain coverage by 2016 than previously thought.
The reason for the front loading of the more benign parts of Obamacare and delay on the more controversial parts was no accident. Obama knows that Americans have short term memories and he wanted to secure a second term before the really asinine parts of Obamacare take effect, plus he doesn’t want a lot of obstacles, nor popular dissent, when he really starts taking away our freedoms.
Lets hope from clarity and the right decision from the Court.

Recent History
We received this from a reader: Dear Cowboys and Tea Parties. Just wanted to give you a short history lesson. No matter what people and pundits say, history and the facts can't be changed.
The day the Democrats took over was not January 22nd 2009 (Obama being sworn in), it was actually January 3rd 2007, the day the Democrats took over the House of Representatives and the Senate, at the very start of the 110th Congress. This was the first time the Democratic Party controlled a majority in both chambers for the first time since the end of the 103rd Congress in 1995.
It should really concern us that the facts do not support the Obama and his Adminstration blaming former President Bush at every turn. These facts are common knowledge and easy to look up, so the conclusion I draw, and every American should conclude, is that this current Democrat led
Administration is plain lying for political gain.
January 3rd, 2007, the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress:
The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77
The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%
The Unemployment rate was 4.6%
Under George Bush's Administration there was a record 52 straight months of job creation.
January 3rd, 2007 was the day that Barney Frank took over the House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking Committee.
The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of the economy? BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES!
THANK YOU DEMOCRATS (especially Barney ) for taking us from 13,000 DOW, 3.5 GDP and 4.6% Unemployment...to this current CRISIS. Dumping 5-6 TRILLION Dollars of toxic loans on the economy from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
Bush asked Congress 17 times to stop Fannie & Freddie - starting in 2001 because it was financially risky for the US economy. Barney and Chris Dodd blocked it and called it a "Chicken Little Philosophy".
Which politician took the 3rd highest pay-off from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac? That would be Barack Obama.
Who fought against reform of Fannie and Freddie? Then Senator Obama and the Democrat Congress, especially Barney Frank and Chris Dodd.
Budgets do not come from the White House. They come from Congress and the party that controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democratic Party.
Furthermore, the Democrats controlled the budget process for 2008 and 2009 as well as 2010 and 2011. In that first year, they had to contend with George Bush, which caused them to compromise on spending, when Bush somewhat belatedly got tough on spending increases. Bush should have vetoed every bill that came in front of his desk!!
For 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to complete the 2009 budget.
Where was Barack Obama during this time? He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to complete 2009. Let's remember what the deficits looked like during that period:
If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five years, and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending. After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets. If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself.
In a nutshell, what Obama is saying is "I inherited a deficit that I voted for, and then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January 20th." Let's repeat that: "I inherited a deficit that I voted for, and then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January 20th."
The problems we face today exist because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by those who vote for a living. This is the main problem in Greece today and we are quickly heading in that direction.

Anti-Constitutional Conspiracy
This is from Paul Joseph Watson on Infowars.com published last week. This is concerning an alarming trend of the Obama Administration to not only ride roughshod over the U.S. Constitution but to attempt to cede authority to the United Nations.

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta’s testimony asserting that the United Nations and NATO have supreme authority over the actions of the United States military, words which effectively declare Congress a ceremonial relic, have prompted Congressman Walter Jones to introduce a resolution that re-affirms such behavior as an “impeachable high crime and misdemeanor” under the Constitution.
During a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing yesterday, Panetta and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey brazenly admitted that their authority comes not from the U.S. Constitution, but that the United States is subservient to and takes its marching orders from the United Nations and NATO, international bodies over which the American people have no democratic influence.
Panetta was asked by Senator Jeff Sessions, “We spend our time worrying about the U.N., the Arab League, NATO and too little time, in my opinion, worrying about the elected representatives of the United States . As you go forward, will you consult with the United States Congress?” The Defense Secretary responded “You know, our goal would be to seek international permission. And we would come to the Congress and inform you and determine how best to approach this, whether or not we would want to get permission from the Congress.”
Despite Sessions’ repeated efforts to get Panetta to acknowledge that the United States Congress is supreme to the likes of NATO and the UN, Panetta exalted the power of international bodies over the US legislative branch. “I’m really baffled by the idea that somehow an international assembly provides a legal basis for the United States military to be deployed in combat,” Sessions said. “I don’t believe it’s close to being correct. They provide no legal authority. The only legal authority that’s required to deploy the United States military is of the Congress and the president and the law and the Constitution.”
In an effort to re-affirm the fact that “the use of offensive military force by a President without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution,” Republican Congressman Walter Jones has introduced a resolution in the House of Representatives. That resolution reads:
Expressing the sense of Congress that the use of offensive military force by a President without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution.
Whereas the cornerstone of the Republic is honoring Congress’s exclusive power to declare war under article I, section 8, clause 11 of the Constitution: Now, therefore, be it Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That it is the sense of Congress that, except in response to an actual or imminent attack against the territory of the United States, the use of offensive military force by a President without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress violates Congress’s exclusive power to declare war under article I, section 8, clause 11 of the Constitution and therefore constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution.
Under the terms of Jones’ resolution, both Panetta and Obama would be subject to impeachment for abusing their power and violating the Constitution in disregarding the authority of Congress and placing a foreign power above its jurisdiction.
Despite the Pentagon’s efforts to claim that Panetta’s words were misinterpreted, the Obama administration itself has routinely cited the authority of the United Nations in relation to last year’s invasion of Libya , which was conducted without approval from Congress. In June last year, President Obama arrogantly expressed his hostility to the rule of law when he dismissed the need to get congressional authorization to commit the United States to a military intervention in Libya, churlishly dismissing criticism and remarking, “I don’t even have to get to the Constitutional question.”
Obama tried to legitimize his failure to obtain Congressional approval for military involvement by sending a letter to Speaker of the House John Boehner in which he said the military assault was “authorized by the United Nations (U.N.) Security Council.”
In boldly asserting the authority of international powers over and above the legislative branch, Panetta and Obama are openly declaring that they no longer represent the American people and instead are water carriers for a global dictatorship that has usurped the sovereignty of the United States .

Expressing the sense of Congress that the use of offensive military force by a President without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution.
Whereas the cornerstone of the Republic is honoring Congress’s exclusive power to declare war under article I, section 8, clause 11 of the Constitution: Now, therefore, be it Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That it is the sense of Congress that, except in response to an actual or imminent attack against the territory of the United States, the use of offensive military force by a President without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress violates Congress’s exclusive power to declare war under article I, section 8, clause 11 of the Constitution and therefore constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution.
Under the terms of Jones’ resolution, both Panetta and Obama would be subject to impeachment for abusing their power and violating the Constitution in disregarding the authority of Congress and placing a foreign power above its jurisdiction.
Despite the Pentagon’s efforts to claim that Panetta’s words were misinterpreted, the Obama administration itself has routinely cited the authority of the United Nations in relation to last year’s invasion of Libya , which was conducted without approval from Congress. In June last year, President Obama arrogantly expressed his hostility to the rule of law when he dismissed the need to get congressional authorization to commit the United States to a military intervention in Libya, churlishly dismissing criticism and remarking, “I don’t even have to get to the Constitutional question.”
Obama tried to legitimize his failure to obtain Congressional approval for military involvement by sending a letter to Speaker of the House John Boehner in which he said the military assault was “authorized by the United Nations (U.N.) Security Council.”
In boldly asserting the authority of international powers over and above the legislative branch, Panetta and Obama are openly declaring that they no longer represent the American people and instead are water carriers for a global dictatorship that has usurped the sovereignty of the United States .

View from an Vietnam Immigrant
It looks like we did some good after all!
On Saturday, July 24th, 2010 the town of Prescott Valley , AZ, hosted a Freedom Rally. Quang Nguyen was asked to speak on his experience of coming to America and what it means. He spoke the following in dedication to all Vietnam Veterans. Thought you might enjoy hearing what he had to say:
“35 years ago, if you were to tell me that I am going to stand up here speaking to a couple thousand patriots, in English, I'd laugh at you. Man, every morning I wake up thanking God for putting me and my family in the greatest country on earth. I just want you all to know that the American dream does exist and I am living the American dream. I was asked to speak to you about my experience as a first generation Vietnamese-American, but I'd rather speak to you as an American.
If you hadn't noticed, I am not white and I feel pretty comfortable with my people. I am a proud US citizen and here is my proof. It took me 8 years to get it, waiting in endless lines, but I got it, and I am very proud of it. I still remember the images of the Tet offensive in 1968, I was six years old. Now you might want to question how a 6-year-old boy could remember anything. Trust me, those images can never be erased. I can't even imagine what it was like for young American soldiers, 10,000 miles away from home, fighting on my behalf.
35 years ago, I left South Vietnam for political asylum. The war had ended. A t the age of 13, I left with the understanding that I may or may not ever get to see my siblings or parents again. I was one of the first lucky 100,000 Vietnamese allowed to come to the US. Somehow, my family and I were reunited 5 months later, amazingly, in California. It was a miracle from God.
If you haven't heard lately that this is the greatest country on earth, I am telling you that right now. It was the freedom and the opportunities presented to me that put me here with all of you tonight. I also remember the barriers that I had to overcome every step of the way. My high school counselor told me that I cannot make it to college due to my poor communication skills. I proved him wrong. I finished college. You see, all you have to do is to give this little boy an opportunity and encourage him to take and run with it. Well, I took the opportunity and here I am.
This person standing tonight in front of you could not exist under a socialist/communist environment. By the way, if you think socialism is the way to go, I am sure many people here will chip in to get you a one-way ticket out of here. And if you didn't know, the only difference between socialism and communism is an AK-47 aimed at your head. That was my experience.
In 1982, I stood with a thousand new immigrants, reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and listening to the National Anthem for the first time as an American. To this day, I can't remember anything sweeter and more patriotic than that moment in my life.
“Fast forwarding, somehow I finished high school, finished college, and like any other goofball 21 year old kid, I was having a great time with my life. I had a nice job and a nice apartment in Southern California . In some way and somehow, I had forgotten how I got here and why I was here.
One day I was at a gas station, I saw a veteran pumping gas on the other side of the island. I don't know what made me do it, but I walked over and asked if he had served in Vietnam . He smiled and said yes. I shook and held his hand. The grown man began to well up. I walked away as fast as I could and at that very moment, I was emotionally rocked. This was a profound moment in my life. I knew something had to change in my life. It was time for me to learn how to be a good citizen. It was time for me to give back.
You see, America is not just a place on the map, it isn't just a physical location. It is an ideal, a concept. And if you are an American, you must understand the concept, you must accept this concept, and most importantly, you have to fight and defend this concept. This is about Freedom and not free stuff. And that is why I am standing up here.
Brothers and sisters, to be a real American, the very least you must do is to learn English and understand it well. In my humble opinion, you cannot be a faithful patriotic citizen if you can't speak the language of the country you live in. Take this document of 46 pages - last I looked on the Internet, there wasn't a Vietnamese translation of the US Constitution. It took me a long time to get to the point of being able to converse and until this day, I still struggle to come up with the right words. It's not easy, but if it's too easy, it's not worth doing.
Before I knew this 46-page document, I learned of the 500,000 Americans who fought for this little boy. I learned of the 58,000 names scribed on the black wall at the Vietnam Memorial. You are my heroes. You are my founders.
At this time, I would like to ask all the Vietnam veterans to please stand. I thank you for my life. I thank you for your sacrifices, and I thank you for giving me the freedom and liberty I have today. I now ask all veterans, firefighters, and police officers, to please stand. On behalf of all first generation immigrants, I thank you for your services and may God bless you all.”

What A Disgrace!
After a ton of complaints, Lake County Democratic Party officials took down the flag. "It's absolutely disrespectful," Jim Bradford, a 71-year-old veteran who participated in the Bay of Pigs Invasion told FoxNews.com. "It's totally ridiculous. To put somebody's picture there, to me, it's a disgrace to do that."
Bradford, an organizer with the Veterans Memorial at Fountain Park in Leesburg , Fla., snapped photos of the flag and distributed them to fellow veterans and friends. By late afternoon, he and several other veterans delivered a copy of the federal flag code to Nancy Hurlbert, chairwoman of the Lake County Democratic Party.
"We read that to her, but she would not accept that," Bradford said. "The discussion finally got a little bit heated."
The flag, which had been flying for several months was later removed by Hurlbert.
Bradford said Hurlbert apologized for the incident, but did not offer any promises that it wouldn't fly again.
"What really upsets me is that the flag had apparently been flying for months and no one had done anything about it," Bradford said. "I've got no hard feelings toward [Hurlbert], but people will be driving by there to make sure it doesn't go up again."
Hurlbert believes "........that it's not about the flag," she told FoxNews.com, "Certain elements cannot accept Barack Obama as president."
Really?
Well Hurlbert, you dolt, it is about the flag, but with Obama's image, it is adding insult to injury. Nobody in elected office has done more damage to this country than the Clown in Chief. If you want to do something for Obama the Destroyer, then nominate him for a Peace Prize or something,....oh wait,..someone already did that.

Another Solar Energy Money Pit
There is an internet story being circulated through e-mail about yet another Solar Company getting Federal Funds. It comes across like this:
The Solar thing just got a little more interesting.......REALLY!
The Tonopah Solar Company in Harry Reid's Nevada is getting a $737 million loan from Obama's DOE.
The project will produce a 110 megawatt power system and employ 45 permanent workers.
That's costing us just $16 million per job.
One of the investment partners in this endeavor is Pacific Corporate Group (PCG).
The PCG executive director is Ron Pelosi who is the brother to Nancy 's husband.
Liberal – Left Wing apology groups have been trying to “correct’ this by stating that the Federal Funds arwe a “Loan Gaurantee” as opposed to a monetary grant. The Federal Government (meaning the taxpayers) will only be the hook for $757 million if the company defaults or goes bankrupt. Not much chance of that, is there!
Obama (and Pelosi) supporters continue that Ronald Pelosi (Nan’s brother in law) will not personally profit from this expansion by Tonopah Solar and Nancy is quoted as saying she “is not familiar with this loan guarantee”,.....sort of like her not being familiar with Obamacare,.....”we have to pass the bill in order to find out what’s in it.”

A Young Doctor's Opinion
Pictured at left is a young physician by the name of Dr. Starner Jones. His short two-paragraph letter to the White House accurately puts the blame on a "Culture Crisis" instead of a "Health Care Crisis". If you doubt any part of what Dr. Jones says, go visit your local hospital emergency room as an observer for an hour or so some Friday or Saturday night. Diagnosis, prognosis and cure in just three (3) short paragraphs! It's worth a quick read:
Dear Mr. President:
During my shift in the Emergency Room last night, I had the pleasure of evaluating a patient whose smile revealed an expensive shiny gold tooth, whose body was adorned with a wide assortment of elaborate and costly tattoos, who wore a very expensive brand of tennis shoes and who chatted on a new cellular telephone equipped with a popular R&B ring tone.
While glancing over her patient chart, I happened to notice that her payer status was listed as "Medicaid"!
During my examination of her, the patient informed me that she smokes more than one costly pack of cigarettes every day and somehow still has money to buy pretzels and beer.
And, you and our Congress expect me to pay for this woman's health care? I contend that our nation's "health care crisis" is not the result of a shortage of quality hospitals, doctors or nurses.
Rather, it is the result of a "crisis of culture", a culture in which it is perfectly acceptable to spend money on luxuries and vices while refusing to take care of one's self or, heaven forbid, purchase health insurance. It is a culture based on the irresponsible credo that "I can do whatever I want to because someone else will always take care of me."
Once you fix this "culture crisis" that rewards irresponsibility and dependency, you'll be amazed at how quickly our nation's health care difficulties will disappear.

Allan West (R-FL) on Obama's Failed Energy Policy
Yahoo posted an article about Congressman Allen West complaining about Obama's failed energy policy, but entitled it "Representative's West Ironic Complaint About Fuel Prices". It seems this article took issue with Congressman West filling up a 2008 Hummer H3 that performed with 16-18 mpg.
In light of the failed electrical vehicles such as the Volt and given our huge, untapped natural fossil fuel reserves, what the heck are our alternatives? It certainly ain't alternative energy - at least not in this decade!
I sure wish my trucks got as good as fuel mileage!! West paid $70 for a fillup, which is considerabley less than what I pay to fill up my Super Duty.
Rep. West's statement is as follows:
"People have asked me before is there any area where I could praise President Obama? Certainly, he has an impeccable penchant for understanding the power of the bully pulpit. President Obama is also very adept at promulgating deceptive language masquerading as policy, actually just insidious political gimmickry. This "tax policy" is an example as well as today's speech on his "energy policy" shall be. Here is the bottom line, last night it took 70 dollars to fill the tank of my 2008 H3 Hummer,
what is it costing you? What does it cost the President to fill his gas tank?"
The article went to allude that Congressman West's was drawing negative attention. They said "attention". I say their intent was to make it seem like "negative attention" while the vast majority of the comments were neutral or said that gas prices were too high and the Administration wasn't doing anything about it.
Can't fool all the people, all the time. That's a good thing for Democrats to remember. If they don't we the people will remind them come November.

Rush Limbaugh's Slur and the Rest of the Story
Everyone has heard about Rush Limbaugh insulting the young Georgetown law student, Sandra Fluke, after her testimony to Congress about the implications and effects on students, mostly women, not having contraceptives included in their student health plans. Well, Rush is a big idiot who runs his mouth. Even though he takes up conservative causes, he is someone I do not listen to at all. I just can't stand his
tone of voice or his rethoric.
But what is being lost in the whole "Rush called her a slut" news event, if the actual testimony from Sandra Fluke. Warning - this is not going to be politically correct! But I'm a tax payer and I'm damn mad!
She, Sandra, has seen the "emotional, mental and physical" toll that lack of contraceptive care has on the women of Georgetown. She say's that without insurance, contraceptives can cost a woman over $3,000 during law school. She goes on to say that (the costs) is "practically an entire summer's salary." Fluke also reports that 40% of the Georgetown women say they "struggle financially" due to the burden of providing their own contraceptives.
Wow,....it just breaks my heart that students, women in particulary, are getting the short end of stick because the Government, previous to Obama unconstitutional directive, failed in a so-damn-hard-hearted manner to provide women with a tool to live their lives in a chosen manner. I am not alleging excessive prosmicuity for these Georgetown co-eds, it's just amazing how far this Country has fallen to have our adult children, being educated in our best institutions, think they are entitled to have the rest of us taxpayers fund their lifestyle. How dare you Sandra Fluke!

Obama and the Volt - The Funniest Thing This Week
What's so funny about this? Just a day after Obama's speech, GM announced that they were suspending Volt production and laying off something like 1,300 workers. Talk about embarassing!! At least it would be embarassing to anyone else. But I think Obama was born without the ability feel shame and he deals with those pesky little embarassing moments by blaming someone, usually Bush, for America's troubles.
Remember Obama's goals of seeing a million electric cars on the road by 2015? Well, he is certainly on his way to meeting that goal with the 9,000 Volts that have been sold....only 900,000 some odd to go!
One more thing Mr President,.........you won't have to wait five years to buy one. You'll be needing your own transportation come January 2013 when you leave the White House. Unless of course you have to take public transportation since your driver's license went the same way as you and your wife's law license's,......revoked.
The image of President Obama sitting in a Chevy Volt is priceless. Obama and that failed unit is a metaphor for his presidency.

Romney Attacked By Other Mormons
While it is no hidden fact that Mitt Romney's father was born in Mexico, many people don't know the extent of Mormonism with the at-large Hispanic community. It makes sense since many young Mormon men and women do two year missions all over the world in fact, bringing the Mormon brand
of Christianity to others. I studied Mormonism for almost two years, attending classes at a local Temple, recieving visiting missionarys before I decided not to join this Church - no major reasons , I just preferred a different brand of Christianity that was more ecletic in nature.
But recently there are articles coming out, of course propelled by the legacy media, about the extent of opposition to Mitt Romney by Hispanic Mormons based on Romney's stance on illegal immigration and path to citizenship.
In all of these articles one would find shorts quotes by Hispanic Mormons saying words to the effect, "We are not supporting him because of his stance on immigration.", "I would never vote for him, even though he is a Mormon, because of his anti-immigration stance.", etc, etc.
First of all the word or term these people are looking for is "anti-immigration". The Liberal politicians and left wing legacy media will often use the term "immigrants" to replace the term "illegal or undocumented immigrants". They know the difference yet they continue to spin and lie to pull support from conservatives and give to liberals. All conservatives not only support immigration, they also call for an more fair and streamlined immigration policy and process. Law breakers, those who are here illegally, should not get special priviledges.
Mormon Hispanics who won't vote for Romney simply because he believes in border security and a legal immigration process, are really saying Hispanics should get special priviledges,....they are voting their race/ethnic group and, are in fact, racists, pure and simple. Just like the actor Samuel L. Jackson, a very good actor by the way, who said he voted for Obama because he is black. Just think what would be said about Mel Gibson saying he will only vote for a white candidate? And of course, this would also be another racist opinion.

But recently there are articles coming out, of course propelled by the legacy media, about the extent of opposition to Mitt Romney by Hispanic Mormons based on Romney's stance on illegal immigration and path to citizenship.
In all of these articles one would find shorts quotes by Hispanic Mormons saying words to the effect, "We are not supporting him because of his stance on immigration.", "I would never vote for him, even though he is a Mormon, because of his anti-immigration stance.", etc, etc.
First of all the word or term these people are looking for is "anti-immigration". The Liberal politicians and left wing legacy media will often use the term "immigrants" to replace the term "illegal or undocumented immigrants". They know the difference yet they continue to spin and lie to pull support from conservatives and give to liberals. All conservatives not only support immigration, they also call for an more fair and streamlined immigration policy and process. Law breakers, those who are here illegally, should not get special priviledges.

Apology to Karzai for Burning of Korans
Last week, four American soldiers were killed during Afghan rioting over the burning by U.S. troops of several Korans. Several days ago seven Army Special Forces soldiers were wounded by a hand grenade attack on their compound by Afghani's who were upset with the burning of several Koran's, and buoyed by President Obama's apology to to Karzai for this event. And now late breaking news is two more American soldiers have been murdered. Great job Mr. President!
It is not usually mentioned in the legacy press, nor in President Obama's apology, that these Korans were defaced by prisoners using them to write secret messages to fellow prisoners. In fact, the U.S. military brought in local Muslim Clerics and they were upset that fellow muslims would deface the Koran and that burning them was the only way to deal with these defaced Korans.....much like how we handle a old and frayed U.S. flag.
To add insult to injury, yesterday Obama declared that his apology "calmed things down."
Jumping on the "apology" bandwagon is the young lady in the video below, although she takes quite a different direction.
