More Founder's Wisdom - James Madison

"There are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations." - James Madison, speech to the Virginia Ratifying Convention, 1788.

I really wouldn't call the legislation rammed through Congress by the Democrats then signed by Obama as "silent encroachments",....hell, everyone knows that the majority of the American people were against Obamacare, not to mention the Stimulus package and the auto company Nationalization, but the lesser known usurpations of this socialist Adminstration include creating Czars to over see projects and programs of Obama strategy to take this Country down into a third world environment; the moritorium on off shore drilling; the attempts to buy more land for the Federal Government; and the list goes on.

Let's slow down the train wreck coming, with change in Congress this Novemeber. 66 days left before you wake up to vote. Vote.....Vote smartly, but vote!

  1. No wonder there are no comments; Madison would have gone apoplectic at what Bush and his fellow neocon/chicken hawks did to our great country and what the corportist Supreme Court Judges have done in their consistent 5-4 decisions, in evisceration much bof the Bill of Rights.
