Paul Ryan's Wows Nation and Convention with Speech

Paul Ryan: "College graduates should not have to live out their 20s in their childhood bedrooms"

Yahoo News reporting on the 2012 Republican Convention go to full article here however Yahoo is not the most conservative suporting on-line reporter.

Paul Ryan worked on this speech for weeks. The Republican vice presidential candidate used his remarks to the 2012 Republican National Convention as an opportunity to introduce his family, promote Mitt Romney's vision for economic recovery, draw contrasts with President Barack Obama and profess the role of faith in his life. He even dropped in a quick line about Led Zeppelin, his favorite band.

Ryan tore into Obama's federal health care law that passed in 2010, the president's most prized legislative accomplishment. Ryan revived an attack from the campaign trail, accusing the president of passing the law "at the expense of the elderly" by trimming the growth in Medicare spending to pay for it.

Between the men on the Republican ticket, Ryan is perhaps the better candidate to address health care, given Romney's support for a state-based proposal with similar provisions. Ryan also made an enthusiastic appeal to young voters, attempting to tie Obama's policies to the unemployment rate among college graduates. "College graduates should not have to live out their 20s in their childhood bedrooms," Ryan said, "staring up at fading Obama posters and wondering when they can move out and get going with life."

He went on to paint the future of Americans as an "adventureless journey," that relies on government programs from cradle to grave. At times, Ryan overstepped, appearing to blame Obama for the closing of a plant in his district that shut down before the president even took office.

When he railed against Obama's stimulus program, a massive infusion of government spending that passed in the president's first 100 days in office, Ryan neglected to mention that his own office requested that funds be directed to help businesses in his home state. As a whole, Ryan portrayed a country that isn't better off than it was four years earlier, one that moves from crisis to crisis without an end in sight. "It began with a financial crisis; it ends with a job crisis," Ryan said of Obama's first term in office. "It began with a housing crisis they alone didn't cause; it ends with a housing crisis they didn't correct."

The speech, which gave Ryan more exposure to voters than he's ever had in his public career, will likely set the tone for how Romney's campaign will use him for the rest of the fall campaign. Below are the full prepared remarks:

Mr. Chairman, delegates, and fellow citizens: I am honored by the support of this convention for vice president of the United States. I accept the duty to help lead our nation out of a jobs crisis and back to prosperity — and I know we can do this. I accept the calling of my generation to give our children the America that was given to us, with opportunity for the young and security for the old — and I know that we are ready. Our nominee is sure ready. His whole life has prepared him for this moment — to meet serious challenges in a serious way, without excuses and idle words.

After four years of getting the run-around, America needs a turnaround, and the man for the job is Governor Mitt Romney. I'm the newcomer to the campaign, so let me share a first impression. I have never seen opponents so silent about their record, and so desperate to keep their power. They've run out of ideas. Their moment came and went. Fear and division are all they've got left. With all their attack ads, the president is just throwing away money — and he's pretty experienced at that. You see, some people can't be dragged down by the usual cheap tactics, because their ability, character, and plain decency are so obvious — and ladies and gentlemen, that is Mitt Romney.

For my part, your nomination is an unexpected turn. It certainly came as news to my family, and I'd like you to meet them: My wife Janna, our daughter Liza, and our boys Charlie and Sam. The kids are happy to see their grandma, who lives in Florida. There she is — my Mom, Betty. My Dad, a small-town lawyer, was also named Paul. Until we lost him when I was 16, he was a gentle presence in my life. I like to think he'd be proud of me and my sister and brothers, because I'm sure proud of him and of where I come from, Janesville, Wisconsin. I live on the same block where I grew up. We belong to the same parish where I was baptized. Janesville is that kind of place.

The people of Wisconsin have been good to me. I've tried to live up to their trust. And now I ask those hardworking men and women, and millions like them across America, to join our cause and get this country working again. When Governor Romney asked me to join the ticket, I said, "Let's get this done" — and that is exactly, what we're going to do. President Barack Obama came to office during an economic crisis, as he has reminded us a time or two. Those were very tough days, and any fair measure of his record has to take that into account.

My home state voted for President Obama. When he talked about change, many people liked the sound of it, especially in Janesville, where we were about to lose a major factory. A lot of guys I went to high school with worked at that GM plant. Right there at that plant, candidate Obama said: "I believe that if our government is there to support you … this plant will be here for another hundred years." That's what he said in 2008. Well, as it turned out, that plant didn't last another year. It is locked up and empty to this day.

And that's how it is in so many towns today, where the recovery that was promised is nowhere in sight. Right now, 23 million men and women are struggling to find work. Twenty-three million people, unemployed or underemployed. Nearly one in six Americans is living in poverty. Millions of young Americans have graduated from college during the Obama presidency, ready to use their gifts and get moving in life. Half of them can't find the work they studied for, or any work at all. So here's the question: Without a change in leadership, why would the next four years be any different from the last four years?

The first troubling sign came with the stimulus. It was President Obama's first and best shot at fixing the economy, at a time when he got everything he wanted under one-party rule. It cost $831 billion — the largest one-time expenditure ever by our federal government. It went to companies like Solyndra, with their gold-plated connections, subsidized jobs, and make-believe markets. The stimulus was a case of political patronage, corporate welfare, and cronyism at their worst.

You, the working men and women of this country, were cut out of the deal. What did the taxpayers get out of the Obama stimulus? More debt. That money wasn't just spent and wasted — it was borrowed, spent, and wasted. Maybe the greatest waste of all was time. Here we were, faced with a massive job crisis — so deep that if everyone out of work stood in single file, that unemployment line would stretch the length of the entire American continent.

You would think that any president, whatever his party, would make job creation, and nothing else, his first order of economic business. But this president didn't do that. Instead, we got a long, divisive, all-or-nothing attempt to put the federal government in charge of health care. Obamacare comes to more than two thousand pages of rules, mandates, taxes, fees, and fines that have no place in a free country. The president has declared that the debate over government-controlled health care is over. That will come as news to the millions of Americans who will elect Mitt Romney so we can repeal Obamacare.

And the biggest, coldest power play of all in Obamacare came at the expense of the elderly. You see, even with all the hidden taxes to pay for the health care takeover, even with new taxes on nearly a million small businesses, the planners in Washington still didn't have enough money. They needed more. They needed hundreds of billions more. So, they just took it all away from Medicare. Seven hundred and sixteen billion dollars, funneled out of Medicare by President Obama. An obligation we have to our parents and grandparents is being sacrificed, all to pay for a new entitlement we didn't even ask for.

The greatest threat to Medicare is Obamacare, and we're going to stop it. In Congress, when they take out the heavy books and wall charts about Medicare, my thoughts go back to a house on Garfield Street in Janesville. My wonderful grandma, Janet, had Alzheimer's and moved in with Mom and me. Though she felt lost at times, we did all the little things that made her feel loved. We had help from Medicare, and it was there, just like it's there for my Mom today. Medicare is a promise, and we will honor it.

A Romney-Ryan administration will protect and strengthen Medicare, for my Mom's generation, for my generation, and for my kids and yours. So our opponents can consider themselves on notice. In this election, on this issue, the usual posturing on the Left isn't going to work. Mitt Romney and I know the difference between protecting a program, and raiding it. Ladies and gentlemen, our nation needs this debate. We want this debate. We will win this debate.

Obamacare, as much as anything else, explains why a presidency that began with such anticipation now comes to such a disappointing close. It began with a financial crisis; it ends with a job crisis. It began with a housing crisis they alone didn't cause; it ends with a housing crisis they didn't correct. It began with a perfect Triple-A credit rating for the United States; it ends with a downgraded America. It all started off with stirring speeches, Greek columns, the thrill of something new.

Now all that's left is a presidency adrift, surviving on slogans that already seem tired, grasping at a moment that has already passed, like a ship trying to sail on yesterday's wind.

President Obama was asked not long ago to reflect on any mistakes he might have made. He said, well, "I haven't communicated enough." He said his job is to "tell a story to the American people" — as if that's the whole problem here? He needs to talk more, and we need to be better listeners?

Ladies and gentlemen, these past four years we have suffered no shortage of words in the White House. What's missing is leadership in the White House. And the story that Barack Obama does tell, forever shifting blame to the last administration, is getting old. The man assumed office almost four years ago — isn't it about time he assumed responsibility? In this generation, a defining responsibility of government is to steer our nation clear of a debt crisis while there is still time.

Back in 2008, candidate Obama called a $10 trillion national debt "unpatriotic" — serious talk from what looked to be a serious reformer. Yet by his own decisions, President Obama has added more debt than any other president before him, and more than all the troubled governments of Europe combined. One president, one term, $5 trillion in new debt.

He created a bipartisan debt commission. They came back with an urgent report. He thanked them, sent them on their way, and then did exactly nothing. Republicans stepped up with good-faith reforms and solutions equal to the problems. How did the president respond? By doing nothing — nothing except to dodge and demagogue the issue. So here we are, $16 trillion in debt and still he does nothing.

In Europe, massive debts have put entire governments at risk of collapse, and still he does nothing. And all we have heard from this president and his team are attacks on anyone who dares to point out the obvious. They have no answer to this simple reality: We need to stop spending money we don't have.

My Dad used to say to me: "Son. You have a choice: You can be part of the problem, or you can be part of the solution." The present administration has made its choices. And Mitt Romney and I have made ours:

Before the math and the momentum overwhelm us all, we are going to solve this nation's economic problems. And I'm going to level with you: We don't have that much time. But if we are serious, and smart, and we lead, we can do this. After four years of government trying to divide up the wealth, we will get America creating wealth again. With tax fairness and regulatory reform, we'll put government back on the side of the men and women who create jobs, and the men and women who need jobs.

My Mom started a small business, and I've seen what it takes. Mom was 50 when my Dad died. She got on a bus every weekday for years, and rode 40 miles each morning to Madison. She earned a new degree and learned new skills to start her small business. It wasn't just a new livelihood. It was a new life. And it transformed my Mom from a widow in grief to a small businesswoman whose happiness wasn't just in the past. Her work gave her hope. It made our family proud. And to this day, my Mom is my role model.

Behind every small business, there's a story worth knowing. All the corner shops in our towns and cities, the restaurants, cleaners, gyms, hair salons, hardware stores — these didn't come out of nowhere. A lot of heart goes into each one. And if small businesspeople say they made it on their own, all they are saying is that nobody else worked seven days a week in their place. Nobody showed up in their place to open the door at five in the morning. Nobody did their thinking, and worrying, and sweating for them.

After all that work, and in a bad economy, it sure doesn't help to hear from their president that government gets the credit. What they deserve to hear is the truth: Yes, you did build that. We have a plan for a stronger middle class, with the goal of generating 12 million new jobs over the next four years. In a clean break from the Obama years, and frankly from the years before this president, we will keep federal spending at 20 percent of GDP, or less. That is enough.

The choice is whether to put hard limits on economic growth, or hard limits on the size of government, and we choose to limit government. I learned a good deal about economics, and about America, from the author of the Reagan tax reforms — the great Jack Kemp. What gave Jack that incredible enthusiasm was his belief in the possibilities of free people, in the power of free enterprise and strong communities to overcome poverty and despair. We need that same optimism right now. And in our dealings with other nations, a Romney-Ryan administration will speak with confidence and clarity.

Wherever men and women rise up for their own freedom, they will know that the American president is on their side. Instead of managing American decline, leaving allies to doubt us and adversaries to test us, we will act in the conviction that the United States is still the greatest force for peace and liberty that this world has ever known.

President Obama is the kind of politician who puts promises on the record, and then calls that the record. But we are four years into this presidency. The issue is not the economy as Barack Obama inherited it, not the economy as he envisions it, but this economy as we are living it. College graduates should not have to live out their 20s in their childhood bedrooms, staring up at fading Obama posters and wondering when they can move out and get going with life. Everyone who feels stuck in the Obama economy is right to focus on the here and now. And I hope you understand this too, if you're feeling left out or passed by: You have not failed, your leaders have failed you.

None of us have to settle for the best this administration offers — a dull, adventureless journey from one entitlement to the next, a government-planned life, a country where everything is free but us. Listen to the way we're spoken to already, as if everyone is stuck in some class or station in life, victims of circumstances beyond our control, with government there to help us cope with our fate.

It's the exact opposite of everything I learned growing up in Wisconsin, or at college in Ohio. When I was waiting tables, washing dishes, or mowing lawns for money, I never thought of myself as stuck in some station in life. I was on my own path, my own journey, an American journey where I could think for myself, decide for myself, define happiness for myself. That's what we do in this country. That's the American Dream. That's freedom, and I'll take it any day over the supervision and sanctimony of the central planners.

By themselves, the failures of one administration are not a mandate for a new administration. A challenger must stand on his own merits. He must be ready and worthy to serve in the office of president. We're a full generation apart, Governor Romney and I. And, in some ways, we're a little different. There are the songs on his iPod, which I've heard on the campaign bus and on many hotel elevators. He actually urged me to play some of these songs at campaign rallies. I said, I hope it's not a deal-breaker Mitt, but my playlist starts with AC/DC, and ends with Zeppelin. A generation apart. That makes us different, but not in any of the things that matter.

Mitt Romney and I both grew up in the heartland, and we know what places like Wisconsin and Michigan look like when times are good, when people are working, when families are doing more than just getting by. And we both know it can be that way again. We've had very different careers — mine mainly in public service, his mostly in the private sector. He helped start businesses and turn around failing ones. By the way, being successful in business — that's a good thing.

Mitt has not only succeeded, but succeeded where others could not. He turned around the Olympics at a time when a great institution was collapsing under the weight of bad management, overspending, and corruption — sounds familiar, doesn't it?

He was the Republican governor of a state where almost nine in ten legislators are Democrats, and yet he balanced the budget without raising taxes. Unemployment went down, household incomes went up, and Massachusetts, under Mitt Romney, saw its credit rating upgraded. Mitt and I also go to different churches. But in any church, the best kind of preaching is done by example. And I've been watching that example. The man who will accept your nomination tomorrow is prayerful and faithful and honorable. Not only a defender of marriage, he offers an example of marriage at its best. Not only a fine businessman, he's a fine man, worthy of leading this optimistic and good-hearted country.

Our different faiths come together in the same moral creed. We believe that in every life there is goodness; for every person, there is hope. Each one of us was made for a reason, bearing the image and likeness of the Lord of Life. We have responsibilities, one to another — we do not each face the world alone. And the greatest of all responsibilities, is that of the strong to protect the weak. The truest measure of any society is how it treats those who cannot defend or care for themselves.

Each of these great moral ideas is essential to democratic government — to the rule of law, to life in a humane and decent society. They are the moral creed of our country, as powerful in our time, as on the day of America's founding. They are self-evident and unchanging, and sometimes, even presidents need reminding, that our rights come from nature and God, not from government. The founding generation secured those rights for us, and in every generation since, the best among us have defended our freedoms. They are protecting us right now. We honor them and all our veterans, and we thank them.
The right that makes all the difference now, is the right to choose our own leaders. And you are entitled to the clearest possible choice, because the time for choosing is drawing near. So here is our pledge. We will not duck the tough issues, we will lead. We will not spend four years blaming others, we will take responsibility. We will not try to replace our founding principles, we will reapply our founding principles. The work ahead will be hard. These times demand the best of us — all of us, but we can do this. Together, we can do this. We can get this country working again. We can get this economy growing again. We can make the safety net safe again. We can do this.

Whatever your political party, let's come together for the sake of our country. Join Mitt Romney and me. Let's give this effort everything we have. Let's see this through all the way. Let's get this done.

Let's Look at Mitt Romney

We know more about Romney than we do about the current President Barry Sotero, aka Barack Obama.  I am convinced that if theAmerican people knew who Mitt Romney was, there would be no question to his over wheming election.  As Ann Romney said, "This Man Will Not Fail."

His full Name is: Willard Mitt Romney
He was Born: March 12,1947 And is 65 years old.
His Father: George W. Romney, is a former Governor of the State of Michigan.  Mitt was raised in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and has been  married to Ann Romney since 1969; They five children (all boys).

Education: B.A. From Brigham Young University, J.D. And M.B.A. From Harvard University
Religion: Mormon - The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints

Working Background: After high school, he spent 30 months in France as a Mormon missionary. After going to both Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School  Michigansimultaneously, he passed the bar exam, but never worked as an attorney.

In 1984, he co-founded Bain Capital a private equity investment firm, one of the largest such firms in the United States.  In 1994, he ran for Senator of Massachusetts and lost to Ted Kennedy.

He was President and CEO of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. In 2002, he was elected Governor of the State of Massachusetts where he eliminated a 1.5 billion deficit.

Some Interesting Facts about Romney: Bain Capital, starting with one small office supply store in Massachusetts, turned it into Staples; now over 2,000 stores employing 90,000 people. Bain Capital also worked to perform the same kinds of business miracles again and again, with companies like Domino's, Sealy, Brookstone, Weather Channel, Burger King, Warner Music Group, Dollarama, Home Depot Supply, and many others.

He was an unpaid volunteer campaign worker for his dad's gubernatorial campaign 1 year. He was an unpaid intern in his dad's governor's office for eight years.

He was an unpaid bishop and state president of his church for ten years. He was an unpaid President of the Salt Lake Olympic Committee for three years.

He took no salary and was the unpaid Governor of Massachusetts for four years. He gave his entire inheritance from his father to charity. Mitt Romney is one of the wealthiest "self-made men" in our country but has given more back to its citizens in terms of money, service and time than most men.

In 2011 Mitt Romney gave over $4 million to charity, almost 19% of his income.... Just for comparison purposes, Obama gave 1% and Joe Biden gave $300 or .0013%.

Mitt Romney is Trustworthy: He will show us his birth certificate He will show us his high school and college transcripts. He will show us his social security card. He will show us his law degree. He will show us his draft notice. He will show us his medical records. He will show us his income tax records. He will show us he has nothing to hide.

Mitt Romney's background, experience and trustworthiness show him to be a Great leader and an excellent citizen for President of the United States. You may think that Romney may not be the best representative the Republicans could have selected. At least we know what religion he is, and that he won't desecrate the flag, bow down to foreign powers, or practice fiscal irresponsibility.

We know he has the ability to turn this financial debacle that the current regime has gotten us into. We won't like all the things necessary to recover from this debt, but someone with Romney's background can do it. But, on the minus side, He never was a "Community Organizer", never took drugs or smoked pot, never got drunk, did not associate with communists or terrorists, nor did he attend a church whose pastor called for God to damn the US.

You should know the difference between the men running for America's top office. You may not like/approve the information,....and that's OK, but at least they are available. A refreshing concept.

ICE Agents Sue Napolitano for Ordering Them to 'Violate Federal Law'

From an article by Penny Starr of CNS News

This report came out late last week and is highlighted by today's news that the Obama administration is using "turn backs" - these are people denied entry into the U.S. - to pad or increase the number of people they say have been deported by this administration so they can tout their law and order. But as is the case with all people trying to be people that they are not, the facts come through on the wool Obama, DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano and ICE Director John Morton are trying to pull over the eyes of the American people, attempting to portray a law and order stance, which is just not true.  Look at Eric holder and is pick and choose attitude on what laws he will enforce.

What is very sad is that in the cases below the politicans have broken the faith with law enforcement officers risking their lives to enforce laws that protect the American people. As with the military, leaders who break the faith, have to go. They need to step down and let someone who is willing to uphold their oath to defend the Constitution, protect Americans and uphold laws to take the reins.

Ten U.S. immigration agents are suing Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and immigration and Customs Enforcement Director John Morton over a directive that “commands ICE officers to violate federal law.”

“We’re not enforcing law any more,” said Chris Crane, an ICE deportation officer and president of the National Immigration and Customs Enforcement Council. “It is pretty much just let everyone go,” he told reporters during a conference call on Thursday.

Crane and nine other ICE agents filed their lawsuit in federal court in Dallas on Thursday. They are seeking an injunction to block Napolitano’s June 15, 2012 directive, which instructs ICE officers to refrain from deporting most illegal immigrants who came to the United States as children.

"The Directive," says the lawsuit, "commands ICE officers to violate federal law ... commands ICE officers to violate their oaths to uphold and support federal law, violates the Administrative Procedure Act, unconstitutionally usurps and encroaches upon the legislative powers of Congress, as defined in Article I of the United States Constitution, and violates the obligation of the executive branch to faithfully execute the law, as required by Article II, Section 3, of the United States Constitution.”

The lawsuit “seeks to preserve the balance of legislative and executive powers established by the United States Constitution.”

Crane told reporters about two ICE agents, one in El Paso, Texas and one in Delaware, both plaintiffs in the suit, who were thwarted in their attempt to enforce federal immigration law.

In the El Paso case, local police arrested an individual for allegedly assaulting a relative and discovered that he was in the U.S. illegally. When ICE attempted to take him into custody, he tried to escape and an agent was injured. But the suspect was not issued an order for immigration processing and no investigation was conducted because of the Obama administration’s directive, Crane told reporters.

In Delaware, agents arrested an illegal alien who was driving the car of another man, described as a “criminal alien.” After the driver was taken into custody, agents found he had ten previous driving violations and no driver’s license. The ICE officer who did not want to follow orders from his superiors to release the man has been threatened with suspension, Crane said.

Kris Kobach, the attorney representing the plaintiffs, said Napolitano’s directive is an extension of the DREAM Act, which was never passed by Congress. “It violates federal immigration laws that require certain aliens to be placed in removal proceedings, it violates the Administrative Procedure Act, and it encroaches upon the legislative powers of Congress as defined in Article I of the United States Constitution.”

Kobach also serves as Secretary of State in Kansas and he is the author of SB 1070, the Arizona immigration law that was partially upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court earlier this year.

Roy Beck of NumbersUSA, the pro-legal immigration organization that is underwriting the ICE agents’ lawsuit, said the Obama administration’s immigration policies are harming U.S. workers. "Any threat of harm to our nation's immigration officers for enforcing the law is a threat against the livelihoods of average American workers," Beck said. "Congress passes laws to determine how many and which citizens of other countries are allowed to enter U.S. job markets to compete with American workers.

“Fortunately during this long period of high unemployment, Congress has refused to add further competition through amnesties that would give millions of illegal aliens access to the legal U.S. job market,” Beck said. “The Napolitano amnesty directive does the opposite. “If immigration agents are not allowed to enforce the laws as decided by Congress, the wages and jobs of American workers are at risk,” Beck said.

DHS spokesman Matt Chandler, commenting on the lawsuit, said: “DHS uses prosecutorial discretion to assist in focusing vigorously on the removal of individuals who are convicted criminals, repeat immigration law violators, and recent border-crossers.”

He noted that in fiscal year 2011, ICE removed more than 216,000 convicted criminal aliens -- the largest number in the agency’s history,” he said, and an 89 percent increase over the criminal removals accomplished in the Bush administration.

Chandler said Napolitano’s memo on “deferred action for childhood arrivals” continues the administrations focus on removing criminal aliens – “and ensures that responsible young people, who are Americans in every way but on paper, have an opportunity to remain in the country and make their fullest contribution.”

“This policy is a temporary measure,” Chandler said. “Congress must still act to provide a permanent solution to fix the broken immigration system.”

Arizona Governor Brewer Takes On Obama,...Yet Again

Jan Brewer denies deferred action recipients drivers’ licenses; will other governors follow suit?  Is the yahoo! news article which you can read in it's entirety here.

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer had released a strongly worded executive order preventing deferred action recipients from obtaining driver's licenses or any other unspecified "public benefits" in her state, renewing her public spat with the White House over illegal immigration and sending a hundred or so illegal immigrants, who were in line to get deferred action documentation, into a protest march to "claim their rightfully owed public benefits paid for by American citizen taxpayers.

Here's what the FBI calls a clue,....America owes you nothing. Obey the law, respect the melting pot culture, assimilate,...again obey the laws and don't expect the rightful American citizens to pay for what you think in your warped minds you are owed.

Brewer writes in the order that as many as 80,000 young people in Arizona could benefit from the new status, which gives young illegal immigrants under age 31 who came to the country as children relief from deportation and a two-year work permit.

Brewer notes that the deferred action status does not make its recipients legal immigrants per se; it's more a limbo state where the immigrants are now not deportable and legally able to work but are not progressing toward a green card or other permanent legal status. Even so, the federal government says immigrants in this category should be allowed to have a driver's license under the REAL ID Act passed in 2005. But states can opt out of the REAL ID Act's requirements for a variety of reasons, and more than a dozen have done so.

On a conference call with reporters earlier this week, an Obama administration official said it is up to states' leadership whether to allow deferred action recipients to apply for driver's licenses or for in-state tuition at public colleges. (A handful of states already grant in-state tuition to residents regardless of immigration status.) "DHS doesn't comment on state specific matters," agency spokesman Peter Boogaard (called Boogerhead by his office mates) said in a statement on Thursday.

Brewer has decided no to both, writing in the order that providing any benefits to the young people would have "significant and lasting effects on the Arizona budget." But immigrant rights groups counter that it makes no sense to give young people the right to legally work but prevent them from legally driving to their jobs, and they are encouraging people to pressure states to allow them this privilege.

If this proves to be too much butt pain for the illegal immigrants. not having a drivers license, then move to another state or better yet - back to where you came from. Obama wants all these illegals to have DL's so they can vote.

Change in Obama Campaign Strategy

Masters at spining the facts, the Democratic National Convention is using the facts that more Americans than ever before are on food stamps,....more Americans than ever before are out of work,......more Americans than ever before see their children growing up in a Country with less opportunity than the parents had,...all in an effort to find a platform for Obama's 2012 campaign. Call him the "Re-distributor in Chief".

But the bad thing is that he is trying to re-distribute poverty to al Americans,...excepting his pals in the unions.

Virginia bakery owner turns down Biden visit.

Chris McMurray, owner of "Crumb and Get It" bakery in southwestern Virginia, turned down a proposed visit from Vice President Joe Biden telling Biden's advance team that he (McMurray) was upset by Obama's  "you didn't build that" remark Obama made last month in a location close to McMurray's bakery.

McMurrary said "Speaking of small businesses and entrepreneurs all across this country,...actually last night my wife was up all night working. No sleep, she's worked a full 24 hours," he said.  Yes, they did build their own business.

This is a recuring trend across the country.  Another small business owner, Al Letizio, this time in New Hamsphire, posted a sign along the route of an Obama motorcade saying ""We Did Build It".  Mr Letizio say's the positive comments about his protest far outweigh any negatives.

Among the bigger gaffs that Obama has made this campaign season, the "You Didn't Built It" remark remains in the fore front of American minds because we all know exactly what Obama meant.  So does Obama and his team as they try to spin the debate against Romney and his investments and tax returns even after he has release the obligatory two years worth.  Mr. President, where are your records?!

Not Our RNC Convention

What does Rep Allen West (R-FL), former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, Texas Governor Rick Perry, Herman Cain, Rep Michelle Bachmann (R-MN) and Donald Trump have in common?

They are being excluded from speaking roles at the Republican National Convention.

The 2012 Republican National Convention has begun to announce keynote speakers and many prominent Tea Party leaders are noticeably absent from the list - Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain, Newt Gingrich, Gov. Rick Perry, Donald Trump and even Sarah Palin.

The RNC's blatant attempt to silence TEA PARTY voices and ignore the historic success of the Tea Party since 2009 is not only outrageous -- it threatens to had this election to Barack Obama and further bankrupt our country. Fellow Patriots our job is far from finished -- it's just beginning!

"Yes! I want our Tea Party leaders to speak at the Convention!" Sign this petition to tell the Republican National Convention they must reverse this decision and add our national Tea Party leaders on the speaker list. We must act quickly to ensure that Tea Party activists and conservatives from across the country will be represented on the stages of the Republican National Convention in less than two weeks!

God, Not Government, Helped Me Succeed, Mr. President

God, Not Government, Helped Me Succeed, Mr. President,
By Charlie Daniels July 20th, 2012.
Here's my open letter To Barack Hussein Obama:

Mr. Obama,

You recently made a statement to the effect that, “If you have a business you didn't build it, you had help," implying that the federal government helped build our businesses by virtue of paving roads and building bridges and keeping the nation safe from foreign invasion.

First of all, Mr. Obama, if I'm going to take advice about business it will not be from somebody who has had absolutely no business experience like yourself.

Secondly, Mr. Obama, I vehemently disagree with your premise. Where was your government when I spent as much as 16 weeks away from my wife and infant son to get a business started? Where were you on those cold winter nights when my old bus broke down in the middle of nowhere and we had to scramble to make the next show, nobody from the government came along to give us a ride? Where was your government when I had to borrow money from a bank to make my payroll? Where was your government while I was digging out of a two million dollar debt, playing every smoky beer joint I could to keep from losing everything I owned?

Mr. Obama, I want to make you aware of a fact. It is the federal government's responsibility to build roads and bridges and keep the nation safe. That's what the federal government is supposed to do, not create an entitlement society that is totally unsustainable and pile up debt that we can't pay. And who do you think paid for those roads and bridges in the first place, and have been doing it for 200 years before you were even born?

The citizens of this nation do not need to pay more taxes, the federal government needs to stop spending money it doesn't have and has to borrow. Because the truth of the matter is that no matter how much taxes the government collects, things are only going to get worse because you'll only spend it and demand even more.

Mr. Obama you have divided this nation by making the have-nots believe that anybody who has been successful has done so at their expense, that anything they've accumulated has been stolen, not earned. That hard work and risk had nothing to do with their success, because they’ve just been lucky and should give a big part of what they earn to the government to pass on to those who don't even try to be successful.

Look at what’s going on with the African-Americans who put their hopes and complete confidence in you and voted overwhelmingly for you. The unemployment rate is 14% and the unemployment among young African Americans is something like 40% Is that what hope and change is all about?

Look at what's happening in your hometown of Chicago where the murder rate is through the roof. Do you think your baseless rhetoric about the unfairness of the successful in America is going to help soothe the situation?

Have you ever considered reaching out to them, instead of fanning the flames? Mr. Obama I don't think you like America very much. I think you'd like to redesign it from the ground up, to turn it into a lazy, unproductive, secular, socialist society. Well, that just won’t flush in a lot of ways, the most prominent being that when all the productive people have given up and stopped trying, when all the investors stop investing, when 80% of the population is living on government hand outs, your government is going to run out of money and this nation will sink into chaos.

But Mr. Obama, I’m beginning to think that's what you want. My help cometh from the Lord who made Heaven and Earth - not the government who made debt and class envy. What do you think? Pray for our troops, and for our country.

God Bless America
Daniels

SEALS Reveal Truth About Bin Laden Raid

Osama Bin Laden was killed within 90 seconds of the US Navy Seals landing in his compound and not after a protracted gun battle, according to the first account by the men who carried out the raid.  The operation was so clinical that only 12 bullets were fired.

The Seals have spoken out because they were angered at the version given by politicians, which they see as portraying them as cold-blooded murderers on a kill mission. They were also shocked that President Barack Obama announced Bin Laden’s death on television the same evening, rendering useless much of the intelligence they had seized.

Chuck Pfarrer, a former commander of Seal Team 6, which conducted the operation, has interviewed many of those who took part for a book, Seal Target Geronimo, to be published in the US this week. The Seals own accounts differ from the White House version, which gave the impression that Bin Laden was killed at the end of the operation rather than in its opening seconds. Pfarrer insists Bin Laden would have been captured had he surrendered.

There isn’t a politician in the world who could resist trying to take credit for getting Bin Laden but it devalued the intelligence and gave time for every other Al-Qaeda leader to scurry to another bolthole, said Pfarrer. The men who did this and their valorous act deserve better. It’s a pretty shabby way to treat these guys.

The first hint of the mission came in January last year when the team’s commanding officer was called to a meeting at the headquarters of joint special operations command. The meeting was held in a soundproof bunker three stories below ground with his boss, Admiral William McRaven, and a CIA officer. They told him a walled compound in Pakistan had been under surveillance for a couple of weeks. They were certain a high-value individual was inside and needed a plan to present to the president. It had to be someone important. So is this Bert or Ernie? he asked. The Seals nicknames for Bin Laden and his deputy Ayman al-Zawahiri are a reference to two Muppets in Sesame Street, one tall and thin and the other short and fat.

We have a voice print, said the CIA officer, and were 60% or 70% certain it’s our guy. McRaven added that a reconnaissance satellite had measured the targets shadow. Over 6ft tall. When McRaven added they would use Ghost Hawk helicopters, the team leader had no doubt. These are the most classified, sophisticated stealth helicopters ever developed, said Pfarrer. They are kept in locked hangars and fly so quiet we call it whisper mode. Over the next couple of months a plan was hatched. A mock-up of the compound was built at Tall Pines, an army facility in a national forest somewhere in the eastern US. Four reconnaissance satellites were placed in orbit over the compound, sending back video and communications intercepts. A tall figure seen walking up and down was named the Pacer. Obama gave the go-ahead and Seal Team 6, known as the Jedi, was deployed to Afghanistan.

The White House cancelled plans to provide air cover using jet fighters, fearing this might endanger relations with Pakistan. Sending in the Ghost Hawks without air cover was considered too risky so the Seals had to use older Stealth Hawks. A Prowler electronic warfare aircraft from the carrier USS Carl Vinson was used to jam Pakistan’s radar and create decoy targets. Operation Neptune’s Spear was initially planned for April 30 but bad weather delayed it until May 1, a moonless night. The commandos flew on two Stealth Hawks, codenamed Razor 1 and 2, followed by two Chinooks five minutes behind, known as Command Bird and the gun platform.

On board, each Seal was clad in body amour and night vision goggles and equipped with laser targets, radios and sawn-off M4 rifles. They were expecting up to 30 people in the main house, including Bin Laden and three of his wives, two sons, Khalid and Hamza, his courier, Abu Ahmed al- Kuwaiti, four bodyguards and a number of children. At 56 minutes pastmidnight the compound came into sight and the code Palm Beach signaled three minutes to landing. Razor 1 hovered above the main house, a three-story building where Bin Laden lived on the top floor.

Twelve Seals roped the 5ft-6ft down onto the roof and then jumped to a third-floor patio, where they kicked in the windows and entered. The first person the Seals encountered was a terrified woman, Bin Laden’s third wife, Khaira, who ran into the hall. Blinded by a searing white strobe light they shone at her, she stumbled back. A Seal grabbed her by the arm and threw her to the floor. Bin Laden’s bedroom was along a short hall. The door opened; he popped out and then slammed the door shut. Geronimo, Geronimo, Geronimo, radioed one Seal, meaning eyes on target. At the same time lights came on from the floor below and Bin Laden’s son Khalid came running up the stairs towards the Seals. He was shot dead.

Two Seals kicked in Bin Laden’s door. The room, they later recalled, smelt like old clothing, like a guest bedroom in a grandmother’s house. Inside was the Al-Qaeda leader and his youngest wife, Amal, who was screaming as he pushed her in front of him. No, no, don’t do this! she shouted as her husband reached across the king-size bed for his AK-47 assault rifle. The Seals reacted instantly, firing in the same second. One round thudded into the mattress. The other, aimed at Bin Laden’s head, grazed Amal in the calf. As his hand reached for the gun, they each fired again: one shot hit his breastbone, the other his skull, killing him instantly and blowing out the back of his head.

Meanwhile Razor 2 was heading for the guesthouse, a low, shoebox-like building, where Bin Laden’s courier, Kuwaiti, and his brother lived. As the helicopter neared, a door opened and two figures appeared, one waving an AK-47. This was Kuwaiti. In the moonless night he could see nothing and lifted his rifle, spraying bullets wildly. He did not see the Stealth Hawk. On board someone shouted, Bust him!, and a sniper fired two shots. Kuwaiti was killed, as was the person behind him, who turned out to be his wife. Also on board were a CIA agent, a Pakistani-American who would act as interpreter, and a sniffer dog called Karo, wearing dog body armor and goggles.

Within two minutes the Seals from Razor 2 had cleared the guesthouse and removed the women and children. They then ran to the main house and entered from the ground floor, checking the rooms. One of Bin Laden’s bodyguards was waiting with his AK-47. The Seals shot him twice and he toppled over. Five minutes into the operation the command Chinook landed outside the compound, disgorging the commanding officer and more men. They blasted through the compound wall and rushed in. The commander made his way to the third floor, where Bin Laden’s body lay on the floor face up. Photographs were taken, and the commander called on his satellite phone to headquarters with the words: Geronimo Echo KIA Bin Laden enemy killed in action.

This was the first time the White House knew he was dead and it was probably 20 minutes into the raid, said Pfarrer. A sample of Bin Laden’s DNA was taken and the body was bagged. They kept his rifle. It is now mounted on the wall of their team room at their headquarters in Virginia Beach, Virginia, alongside photographs of a dozen colleagues killed in action in the past 20 years. At this point things started to go wrong. Razor 1 took off but the top secret green unit that controls the electronics failed. The aircraft went into a spin and crashed tail-first into the compound… The Seals were alarmed, thinking it had been shot down, and several rushed to the wreckage. The crew climbed out, shaken but unharmed.

The commanding officer ordered them to destroy Razor 2, to remove the green unit, and to smash the avionics. They then laid explosive charges. They loaded Bin Laden’s body onto the Chinook along with the cache of intelligence in plastic bin bags and headed toward the USS Carl Vinson. As they flew off they blew up Razor 2. The whole operation had taken 38 minutes.

The following morning White House officials announced that the helicopter had crashed as it arrived, forcing the Seals to abandon plans to enter from the roof. A photograph of the situation room showed a shocked Hillary Clinton, the secretary of state, with her hand to her mouth.

Why did they get it so wrong? What they were watching was live video but it was shot from 20,000 feet by a drone circling overhead and relayed in real time to the White House and Leon Panetta, the CIA director, in Langley. The Seals were not wearing helmet cameras, and those watching in Washington had no idea what was happening inside the buildings. They don’t understand our terminology, so when someone said the insertion helicopter has crashed, they assumed it meant on entry, said Pfarrer.

What infuriated the Seals, according to Pfarrer, was the description of the raid as a kill mission. I’ve been a Seal for 30 years and I never heard the words kill mission, he said. It’s a Beltway [Washington insiders] fantasy world. If it was a kill mission you don’t need Seal Team 6; you need a box of grenades. Hooyah!

The Can You Believe It Category

Obama and DNC can't Get Their Story Straight The First Obama fundraiser after Romney announced Ryan as VP pick, was announced by the DNC as a complete sell out. The reality is that at even a relative cheap price of $51 per head, the room was half full. The propaganda coming out of the Obama's campaign and indeed his administration looks like what the old Soviet Union used to release to make it seem to the world and to their people that things were under control and everything was just hunky-dorry. Nothing could be further from the truth and the Democrats are running scared of losing power this November 2012.

Romney and Ryan event had 10,000+ people attending a rally in Ryan's home county in Wisconsin. The 2012 Republican ticket is already defining their economic and budgetary plan in an effort to get out in front of Obama and the DNC's lies about this plan. Obama himself and his minions have already called Ryan a "right wing ideologue" who would throw seniors to the wolves over social security and medicare, even though Romney and Ryan have repeatedly said that social security and medicare reform WILL NOT effect anyone currently 55 years or older.

Pitchfork-wielding Virginia farmers rallied to support a woman who has been threatened by $5,000 in fines for not getting a "children's birthday party permit" from her local county government. Are you frigging kidding me? Is this the Big Brother act that we have now known to come and expect?

Obama Falsifications are almost daily now that Obama is in high gear on campaign mode. One of the major falsifications concerns General Motors.  Obama touts GM as one of his many accomplishments (boy, sure hate to see what he counts as failure!) saying that the GM recovery went so well, it was the #1 car manufacturer for a six month period (surpassing Toyota). What Obama is not mentioning is that the six month period he is talking about was the six months following the Tsunami in Japan which destroyed Japan's Toyota plants, that took the Japanese six months to rebuild and again claim the lead as the #1 car manufacturer. Another thing that Obama doesn't tell you is that 7 out of 10 GM cars are made in China!

And then There was Biden,....thank God for the humor in it all. Vice President Biden speaking Tuesday morning in Virginia to a largely black crowd, say's "“They’ve said it. Every Republican’s voted for it. Look at what they value and look at their budget and what they’re proposing,” an animated Biden said. “Romney wants to let the — he said in the first 100 days, he’s going to let the big banks once again write their own rules – unchain Wall Street. They’re going to put y’all back in chains. He’s said he’s going to do nothing about stopping the practice of outsourcing.” Of course, Biden is lying, the proof is that his lips are moving. This is coming from a Democrat who has failed to even produce a budget in over 1,200 days as well as from an Administration who has out sourced what American wealth is left to China. Of course Romney did not say he would "let the banks write their own rules" - this is another Democrat lie. Then he tells the crowd, again which the majority is black, that they are going back into chains under a Romney administration - Biden, you are pathetic.

About Say's it All

One Look at the Ryan Budget Plan

With Romney announcing his pick of Rep Paul Ryan to be his VP choice, previous Obama, Biden, Pelosi, and bucked tooth Wasserman-Schultz attacks on Ryan's budget plan are re-surfacing. Seems kind of hypocritical that the Democrats, who have no plan of their own besides borrowing more money and instituting higher taxation, are banging on Ryan's plan.

And make no doubt about it, the Democrats will make Ryan's plan and therefore Romney's fiscal platform out to be a death sentance on the elderly. Obama has no choice to demonize Romney and Ryan, since he has no plan of his own and is running scared,....Obama cannot run on his own record which history will show as the worst administration in history.

The below is Yahoo!'s lay out of the five key points from Ryan's "Pathway to Prosperity" budget.

1. Ryan's budget plan cuts $5.8 trillion over 10 years from projected federal spending and reduces the deficit by $4.4 trillion over the same period. Discretionary spending, which includes programs like food stamps, would see more than $900 trillion in reductions. The budget also calls for the repeal of President Obama's health care reform law, which supporters say would save billions in federal subsidies that will be given to lower-income people to buy insurance.

2. The most contentious part of Ryan's proposed budget are the changes to Medicare, the nation's insurance plan for retirees and a political third rail. Ryan's plan would eventually transform Medicare into defined payments that seniors can use to buy private insurance or a government plan on an insurance exchange.

There would be no limits to the out-of-pocket costs seniors could pay in this program, but Ryan assumes that the increased competition between Medicare and private plans would bring down overall costs. The amount of money seniors get to buy insurance would grow at a slightly higher rate than GDP each year. (The Congressional Budget Office says this would save the government money, but also significantly increase the amount seniors will eventually have to pay for their own insurance.)

The eligibility age would gradually rise to 67, from 65. Democrats say this transforms Medicare into a "voucher program" that may leave seniors with big prescription bills and other medical costs, and the Obama campaign is already using this against Romney and Ryan. If Obama can convince seniors--a powerful voting bloc that turns out at the polls--that Ryan would worsen or weaken Medicare, it could mean bad news for their campaign.

Cowboy's comment: Don't forget about Obama taking $500 billion from Medicare to pay for Obamacare, even though he granted waivers to all his Union friends."

3. Ryan would cut the top federal income tax rate for individuals and corporations to 25 percent from 35 percent. The budget says some tax breaks and loopholes would be eliminated to help offset the revenue loss.

Cowboy's comment: This puts more money back into the pockets of those who earned it, and less for those who would steal it - read the Federal Government. This additional money provides working capital so businesses can expand, creating more jobs and therefore more people wth health care insurance and more revenue for the Federal government.

4. Ryan would slash Medicaid, the insurance program for some low-income people, by $735 billion over ten years, and hand the program back to the states to administer with more freedom. The CBO writes that states would most likely have to "reduce payments to providers, curtail eligibility for Medicaid, provide less extensive coverage to beneficiaries, or pay more themselves than would be the case under current law." 5. The budget spares Social Security and defense spending, which are left at current levels.

Ryan's decision to back off Social Security is interesting, since he put forward proposals to privatize the program around the same time that President George W. Bush tried to sell the nation on a similar proposal. (Social Security does not face the same solvency challenges as Medicare and Medicaid, and is not projected to grow much as a percentage of GDP over the next 20 years.)

Cowboy's comment: What is missing from Yahoo!'s commentary on the Ryan budget plan is the consequences from failure to act. Obama has driven this country to unprecedented amounts of Federal debt and annual deficit. We are approaching $1 trillion in deficit spending this year and have over $16 Trillion in debt,.....over $5 trillion from Obama's administration alone! There is no mistake about it,....failure to act,... and act boldy will collapse this country.

Romney - Ryan 2012!

By now most people have heard that Governor Romney has selected Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan as his Vice Presidential pick.

Ryan, 42 years old, is a seven term representative who presents huge problems for the the Obama-Biden campaign.

With Romney's successful business record as well as his record of balancing the budget and reducing unemployment while as Masachuesetts Governor, combined with Ryan's knowledge and forward plans for fiscal solvency of this Country compared to the Obama-Biden record of incuring more debt than all the other President's combined and the fact that Obama is the ONLY President in history without a budget, .....the choice for America and indeed the only hope for this Country resides with Mitt Romney and his exceptional choice for Vice-President, Paul Ryan.

Ryan is already vetted and has a established record, not only on fiscal issues and his work on presenting a budget to get this Great Country out of the tired morass of Obama debt, but Ryan is tested and proven to be tough in the way he handled the Obama - Biden-Pelosi-Ried-Soros attacks on him.

Wow, what a great pick for Romney and what a great team for this Country.  Make sure you watch the debates between Romeny and Obama, and Ryan and Biden.  It will be like watching the Muppets play the New York Giants in football.

One Boss' Letter to Workers

To All My Valued Employees,

There have been some rumblings around the office about the future of this company, and more specifically, your job. As you know, the economy has changed for the worse and presents many challenges. However, the good news is this: The economy doesn't pose a threat to your job. What does threaten your job however, is the changing political landscape in this country.

Of course, as your employer, I am forbidden to tell you whom to vote for - it is against the law to discriminate based on political affiliation, race, creed, religion, etc. Please vote for who you think will serve your interests the best. However, let me tell you some little tidbits of fact which might help you decide what is in your best interest.

First, while it is easy to spew rhetoric that casts employers against employees, you have to understand that for every business owner there is a back story. This back story is often neglected and overshadowed by what you see and hear. Sure, you see me park my Mercedes outside. You saw my big home at last years Christmas party. I'm sure all these flashy icons of luxury conjure up some idealized thoughts about my life. However, what you don't see is the back story.

I started this company 12 years ago. At that time, I lived in a 300 square foot studio apartment for 3 years. My entire living space was converted into an office so I could put forth 100% effort into building a company, which by the way, would eventually employ you. My diet consisted of Ramen Pride noodles because every dollar I spent went back into this company. I drove a rusty Toyota Corolla with a defective transmission. I didn't have time to date. Often times, I stayed home on weekends, while my friends went out drinking and partying.

In fact, I was married to my business -- hard work, discipline, and sacrifice. Meanwhile, my friends got jobs. They worked 40 hours a week and made a modest $50K a year and spent every dime they earned. They drove flashy cars and lived in expensive homes and wore fancy designer clothes. Instead of hitting Nordstrom's for the latest hot fashion item, I was trolling through the Goodwill store extracting any clothing item that didn't look like it was birthed in the 70's. My friends refinanced their mortgages and lived a life of luxury. I, however, did not. I put my time, my money, and my life into a business --- with a vision that eventually, some day, I too, will be able to afford these luxuries my friends supposedly had.

So, while you physically arrive at the office at 9 am, mentally check in at about noon, and then leave at 5 pm, I don't. There is no "off" button for me. When you leave the office, you are done and you have a weekend all to yourself. I unfortunately do not have the freedom. I eat, ****, and breathe this company every minute of the day. There is no rest. There is no weekend. There is no happy hour. Every day this business is attached to me like a 1 day old baby. You, of course, only see the fruits of that garden -- the nice house, the Mercedes, the vacations... You never realize the back story and the sacrifices I've made.

Now, the economy is falling apart and I, the guy that made all the right decisions and saved his money, have to bail out all the people who didn't. The people that overspent their paychecks suddenly feel entitled to the same luxuries that I earned and sacrificed a decade of my life for. Yes, business ownership has its benefits but the price I've paid is steep and not without wounds.

Unfortunately, the cost of running this business, and employing you, is starting to eclipse the threshold of marginal benefit and let me tell you why: I am being taxed to death and the government thinks I don't pay enough. I have state taxes. Federal taxes. Property taxes. Sales and use taxes. Payroll taxes. Workers compensation taxes. Unemployment taxes. Taxes on taxes. I have to hire a tax man to manage all these taxes and then guess what? I have to pay taxes for employing him.

Government mandates and regulations and all the accounting that goes with it, now occupy most of my time. On Oct 15th, I wrote a check to the US Treasury for $288,000 for quarterly taxes. You know what my "stimulus" check was? Zero. Nada. Zilch. The question I have is this: Who is stimulating the economy? Me, the guy who has provided 14 people good paying jobs and serves over 2,200,000 people per year with a flourishing business? Or, the single mother sitting at home pregnant with her fourth child waiting for her next welfare check?

Obviously, government feels the latter is the economic stimulus of this country. The fact is, if I deducted (Read: Stole) 50% of your paycheck you'd quit and you wouldn't work here.. I mean, why should you? That's nuts. Who wants to get rewarded only 50% of their hard work? Well, I agree which is why your job is in jeopardy. Here is what many of you don't understand .. to stimulate the economy you need to stimulate what runs the economy.

Had suddenly government mandated to me that I didn't need to pay taxes, guess what? Instead of depositing that $288,000 into the Washington black-hole, I would have spent it, hired more employees, and generated substantial economic growth. My employees would have enjoyed the wealth of that tax cut in the form of promotions and better salaries. But you can forget it now.

When you have a comatose man on the verge of death, you don't defibrillate and shock his thumb thinking that will bring him back to life, do you? Or, do you defibrillate his heart? Business is at the heart of America and always has been. To restart it, you must stimulate it, not kill it. Suddenly, the power brokers in Washington believe the mud of America are the essential drivers of the American economic engine.

Nothing could be further from the truth and this is the type of change you can keep. So where am I going with all this? It's quite simple. If any new taxes are levied on me, or my company, my reaction will be swift and simple. I fire you. I fire your co-workers. You can then plead with the government to pay for your mortgage, your SUV, and your child's future.

Frankly, it isn't my problem any more. Then, I will close this company down, move to another country, and retire. You see, I'm done! I'm done with a country that, (with the help of the press,) penalizes the productive and gives to the unproductive. My motivation to work and to provide jobs will be destroyed, and with it, will be my citizenship. While tax cuts to 95% of America sounds great on paper, don't forget the back story: If there is no job, there is no income to tax. A tax cut on zero dollars is zero.......

So, when you make decision to vote, ask yourself, who understands the economics of business ownership and who doesn't? Whose policies will endanger your job? Answer those questions and you should know who might be the one capable of saving your job.

While the Main stream Liberal media wants to tell you "It's the economy Stupid" I'm telling you it isn't. If you lose your job, it won't be at the hands of the economy; it will be at the hands of a political hurricane that swept through this country, steamrolled the Constitution, and will have changed its landscape forever. If that happens, you can find me in the South Caribbean sitting on a beach, retired, and with no employees to worry about.

Signed,
Your boss,

Lying Obama Ads

Senior Obama campaign officials have refused to disavow a controversial and greatly misleading TV ad by the pro-Obama super PAC, Priorities USA Action, that does more than suggest Mitt Romney had a role in a woman’s death.

The ad, released Tuesday, features former GST Steel worker Joe Soptic of Kansas City, Mo., who lost his job and health benefits when Romney’s Bain Capital shuttered the factory in 2001. Soptic recounts how his wife became seriously ill shortly after “my family lost their health care” and died three weeks later. “I do not think Mitt Romney realizes what he’s done to anyone, and, furthermore, I do not think Mitt Romney is concerned,” Soptic says. Watch this ad, then read the follow on below, and you be the judge.

Various fact-checkers has since pointed out that Soptic’s wife did not die until 2006, five years after GST Steel closed and what? 5 years after Romeny left?, and that she had health insurance coverage through her own employer for part of that time. It’s also unclear whether having insurance coverage through GST Steel would have meant better prevention or detection of the cancer that ultimately killed her.

In separate appearances on morning talk shows, senior Obama campaign adviser Robert "I Lie When My Lips Move" Gibbs and deputy Obama campaign manager Stephanie Cutter were pressed on whether the insinuation that Romney contributed to Soptic’s death crossed a line.  Both distanced themselves from the super PAC, asserting independence from the group, and claimed to know nothing about Soptic’s case.

This is yet another case of Obama and his machine running their mouths without regards to the facts. Blatanntly lying to the American people. This should scare everyone, liberal, conservative and independents alike. If Obama and his campgaign machine can lie and lie, what will he do to this country in another four years of power?

ICE Agent Facing Suspension over Arrest of Illegal Alien

By Todd Starnes of Fox Radio News we learn that a veteran Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent is facing suspension after he refused to release an illegal immigrant who was not considered a priority target under the Obama Administration’s new immigration enforcement policies, according to documents provided exclusively to Fox News.

“They’re punishing law enforcement officers who are just trying to uphold U.S. law,” said Chris Crane, president of the National ICE Council. Crane is a union representative acting on the unidentified officer’s behalf.

The officer under fire is an 18-year law enforcement and military veteran. On March 27 he and another officer were conducting surveillance on a vehicle in Newark, Del. with plates that were registered to a criminal alien target. During the surveillance, they observed an individual get into the vehicle. The person was detained, questioned and taken to an ICE office so that his fingerprints could be run through a federal database.

The individual was not their criminal alien target. However, he was a 35-year-old illegal immigrant from Mexico who had ten previous traffic violations – including driving without a license. “The officer made the determination using prosecutorial discretion that he would charge (the suspect) as being in the United States illegally and let the judge sort it out,” Crane said. “That’s our place in the universe,” he said. “We’re supposed to make arrests and let the judges and the legal system sort through the details.”

Instead, two supervising officers, including the acting field director, intervened and ordered the officer to release the illegal immigrant. The acting field director sat down with the illegal and explained that he was going to be let go because he was not a “presidential priority,” Crane said. In essence, the supervising officers took on the role of a public defender. “You had the supervisors intervening with the alien to assist the alien and counsel the alien on avoiding receiving a charging document,” he said. The officer’s supervisors ordered the officer to release the illegal – an order the officer refused.

According to a “Notice of Proposed Suspension,” dated July 19, the officer “failed to follow these supervisory instructions, when you arrested a non-targeted alien who did not appear to meet any of the ICE priorities.” A memorandum from Assistant Field Office Director David O’Neill, written the morning of the incident, reveals that the officers were told to release the subject even though he was in the country illegally. The officer “became agitated and began to raise his voice and stated that he would not do as instructed,” O’Neill wrote in his memo.

As a result of disobeying the order to release a known criminal, the officer faces a three-day suspension and could ultimately lose his job and pension if he arrests another illegal not on the Obama administration’s priority list. “They’re willing to take away their retirement, their job, their ability to support their families in favor of someone who is here illegally and violating our laws,” Crane told Fox News. “Right now (the Obama administration) is standing in the way of us enforcing the law by either taking a disciplinary action, threats of disciplinary action, or refusing to sign off on charging documents to put an illegal alien into immigration proceedings so a judge can sort it out.”

An ICE spokesman did not return multiple calls seeking comment. Ironically, the illegal alien in this particular incident was given better treatment than an American citizen would have been in similar circumstances. A spokesman for the Newark Police Dept. told Fox News that if an American had been stopped on the same charges – they would have been put in jail. The spokesman said officers would have let the judge sort out the details. Crane said that’s the way it used to be – until President Obama loosened restrictions on illegal immigrants. “Our hands are tied much more than your average police officer,” Crane said. “Normally an officer would have made an arrest like this, processed him, put the paper work in front of the supervisor and they would have signed off on it.”

At the heart of the issue are significant changes announced in June by the Dept. of Homeland Security. The new rules outlined how younger illegal immigrants could stay in the country and gain work permits through the use of “prosecutorial discretion.” Crane said agents in the field disputed the idea of prosecutorial discretion. “This whole prosecutorial discretion thing is a big lie,” he said. “The administration is trying to say it gives us more flexibility to release people. It’s garbage. These are orders – very clear orders that you will release people.”

The policy allows for discretion involving individuals who have not been convicted of a “felony offense, a significant misdemeanor offense, multiple misdemeanor offenses, or otherwise poses a threat to national security or public safety; and is not above the age of thirty.” The illegal immigrant in this case had 10 traffic violations and is 35-years-old.

And it’s not the first time that ICE agents have found themselves frustrated by Obama’s new policy. Last month an illegal immigrant injured an officer during an attempted escape in El Paso. Assaulting a federal officer is considered a federal crime. However, because the suspect was not a priority target, he was released without any criminal or immigration charges. “We can’t do anything anymore under these new guidelines,” he added. “ As a result, he said, an 18-year law enforcement veteran has to pay the price — and somewhere in the nation, a 35-year-old illegal immigrant is driving on a roadway without a license. “If a law enforcement officer can’t perform routine enforcement functions, what do we have a law enforcement agency for,” Crane wondered.

This is yet another prima facie episode of Obama placing politics and his re-election above the law and above the interests of this country.

Random Venting

Will Holder Prosecute or even investigate Jon Corzine? Fat Chance of that. With Holder and the Obama Administration going after Conservatives States,..first suing States who are trying to fix the illegal alien issue and secondly suing the states who are trying to solve voter fraud, Holder has no time to investigate or prosecute crimes such as Corzine stealing money from investors or Black militants intimidating voters. I find it funny that the Black Militants only chose locations where elderly white people voted as opposed to trying to intimidate voters in states like Texas, or Arizona or Montana, or Wyoming,....or Alabama, etc.

Ted Cruz and the Tea Party Victorious in Texas Republican Senate Run Off Election. The Tea Party, yet again, showed it's grass roots strength by Ted Cruz winning the run off election against David Dewhurst an entrenched old school Republican in the Republican stronghold of Texas. So all those Liberal and Rhino declarations that the Tea Party is dead are vastly over stated and in fact, totally wrong. And what is telling is that Cruz won by such a large margin,.....56 % to 44%, even though he was outspent $24 million to $9 million.

More Legacy Media Bias demonstrated in the news reports about Anne Romney's and Michelle Obama's clothing. First we had the Legacy Media, also known as the Mainstream Media or Obama's fifth Column, beating up Anne Romney because she was wearing a $900 blouse,...."Oh, she is so out of touch with middle class America by wearing and flaunting that expensive item of clothing,...shame on her."........ Contrast that with the Media reporting on Michelle Obama wearing a $8,600 shirt/vest,...."Oh, Michelle sets a high bar for style,.....oh, her arms are so toned,.....". Come on, even you Liberals have to see that the media is so slanted towards Democrats, that they may as well get paid by the DNC.    Well, ......maybe they are.

Obama's Amnesty Program

It looks to be that Obama is trying to recruit more voters prior to November,......he must be worried.

Top Immigration Officials Describe Border Chaos Resulting From Admin's Amnesty Policy Senator Sessions (R-AL) hosted a press conference today with top officials from two unions that represent U.S. immigration law enforcement agencies.

ICE agent Chris Crane is President of the National Immigration and Customs Enforcement Council, the union representing America's more than 7,000 ICE agents and personnel.

Border Patrol agent George McCubbin, III is President of the National Border Patrol Council, the union representing America's more than 17,000 border agents and personnel.

From Senator Sessions' remarks: "The Administration claims it has diligently enforced immigration law and that the border is 'more secure than ever.' But those on the front lines know this to be untrue. They see the violence, chaos and lawlessness. They have lost confidence in the leadership of their agencies...As you will hear today, this administration has engaged in a sustained, relentless effort to undermine America's immigration laws. They have handcuffed and muffled those charged with protecting the public safety and the integrity of our borders. Such action has not only weakened our security but our democracy...All Americans, immigrant and native born, will have a better future if our nation remains unique in the world for the special reverence it places in the rule of law and fairness in our immigration system."

Watch the below video to see what both Law Enforcement Union officials have to say about President Obama's failure to uphold his Constitutional duties and responsibilities.
