Another Republican Throws his Hat In - John Huntsman enters 2012 race

Anybody is better than having Obama run this Country, but I fear Jon Huntsman despite his experience and credentials is just another politician. And Herman Cain said “Politicians in Washington D.C.,...... how has that worked out for us so far?”

Plus his seeming support for some Obama programs are problematic for his conservative credentials. All in all I don't think Huntsman adds anything to the Republican Presidential candidate debates.

JERSEY CITY, New Jersey (Reuters) – Republican Jon Huntsman, the former U.S. ambassador to China , entered his party's 2012 presidential race on Tuesday pledging to make "hard decisions" to prevent America sinking into a debt disaster.

Huntsman upset the White House in April by quitting his job in Beijing to take on his former boss, President Barack Obama who appointed him in 2009.

The former governor of Utah , Huntsman, 51, is lagging in polls of Republicans but has a high profile in the media and worries the Democratic Obama administration because of his possible cross-party appeal.

Speaking, with the Statue of Liberty in the background, Huntsman pledged to turn America around.

"For the first time in our history, we are passing down to the next generation a country that is less powerful, less compassionate, less competitive and less confident than the one we got," Huntsman said. "This, ladies and gentlemen, is totally unacceptable and totally un-American," he said.

He was speaking at Liberty State Park in New Jersey , the site where former President Ronald Reagan launched his bid for the White House in 1980.

If Huntsman picks up traction in opinion polls, he could rival former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney for the role of the moderate Republican candidate.

"We must make hard decisions that are necessary to avert disaster," the former Utah governor said, painting a bleak picture of the debt problem and the huge budget deficit, due to hit $1.4 trillion this fiscal year.

"If we don't, in less than a decade, every dollar of federal revenue will go to covering the costs of Medicare, Social Security and interest payments on our debt. Meanwhile, we'll sink deeper into debt for everything else - from national security to disaster relief," Huntsman said.

Huntsman paints his knowledge of China , America 's main global commercial rival and foreign lender, as a strength. But some conservative voters see his working for Obama as a liability.

Huntsman learned to speak Chinese while on a Mormon mission to Taiwan during his college years. He and his wife Mary Kaye Cooper have seven children: five biological and two adopted from China and India .

He promised to conduct his campaign "on the high road" and respect Republican rivals as well as Obama, who leads most opinion polls of the 2012 presidential race.

"I respect the president. The question each of us wants the voters to answer is who will be the better president; not who's the better American."

DEBT WOES

Congressional Republicans and Democrats are debating how to slash federal spending. But bipartisan talks have made investors worldwide jittery as they raise the specter, however small, of a debt default.

The Obama administration has warned it will run out of money to pay bills if Congress does not raise the $14.3 trillion debt limit by August 2.

Huntsman said he tackled many of the same issues in Utah and managed to keep the state's AAA credit rating.

Huntsman lacks national name recognition and many polls put his support at less than 2 percent but he left his governorship in August 2009 with sky-high approval ratings and a reputation for fiscal conservatism.

His more moderate views on social issues could make his path to winning the Republican nomination difficult. Familiarity with voters is also a problem.

A recent look by the University of New Hampshire's survey center showed Huntsman favored by only 1 percent of voters in the state, which is influential because of its early February primary. Seventy-one percent said they had not heard of him.

CATP – More Gun Lies and Garbage from Calderon

An Associated Press article on June 14th reported that 70% of arms seized in Mexico came from the U.S. This article furthers this out right lie by stating that the BATF reported 20,504 firearms out of 29,284 firearms seized were traced to the U.S. What they are not telling you is that vast amount of firearms seized that are not checked through U.S. sources because they are coming from outside the U.S., predominantly the southern Mexico border with Guatemala. Of course, the BATF brought you Operation Gunrunner, where they tacitly allowed firearms to go to Mexico to "build cases for prosecutions".

To add insult to injury, the Mexican President PinHead Felipe “I’m not responsible for Mexicans killing Mexicans” Calderon, while in a speech to the Mexican-American community in San Jose , California said this about the U.S. firearms industry:

“I accuse the U.S. Weapons industry of responsibility for the deaths of thousands of people that are occurring in Mexico . It is for profit, for the profits that it makes for the weapons industry.”

Then this idiot called for a ban on domestic sales fo assault rifles saying “You can clearly see how the violence began to grow in 2005 and of course it has gone on an upward spiral in the last six years.” implying that the U.S. firearms manufacturers and dealers have fueled this.

Hey, Felipe you frigging idiot,…how about the Mexican nationals and other mutts smuggling guns? Do they have any responsibility? Does the drug cartels and their indiscriminate violence share any blame? Just how many Americans are down south pulling triggers? You, my scumbag neighbor, have way too much to do in Mexico to curb violence, to reduce corruption, to degrade the drug cartels before you go throwing bull crap our way.

Michelle Bachmann - Presidential Candidate

Michelle Bachmann (R-MN), a sitting Congresswoman is now running for the 2012 Republican Presidential Nomination. Although I real like what I hear out of Herman Cain – the HurriCain,.... Michelle Bachmann is no slouch when it comes to fiscal and social conservative values. She is a former IRS tax lawyer and a strong Constitutionalist who has has not problems bucking the Republican Party leadership. That’s why she is a Tea Party favorite.

Bachmann was born April 6, 1956 in Waterloo, Iowa, married Marcus Bachmann, at Winona State University while both were Democrats supporting the Idiot Jimmy Carter.

Bachmann, who is an evangelical Lutheran and solidly pro-life, started in politics through disappointment with the Minnesota 's education system. She ran for the local school board in 1999, losing that election but won a seat in the Minnesota next year. Congresswoman Bachmann and her husband have fostered 23 children along with their own 5 children.

She has been a Congresswoman since 2006, being the first Republican woman to win election to Congress from Minnesota.

Bachman is certainly controversial usually through thinking out loud and it doesn’t help when there is a double standard between Republicans and Democrats, where Republicans are held to a much stricter account of what they say.

Mark our words here: Michelle Bachmann will be a force to be reckoned with, probably often directing the debate but will most probably end up on the ticket as the Vice-Presidential nominee because the perceptions about her lack of readiness or ability to come to the middle. Which is just a shame. If you look at Obama's qualifications (or extreme lack of them) for the executive office when he was running, they are in stark contrast to the exceptional and varied experience each and every Republican candidate brings to the table. But here we go again,....that double standard.

CATP - And Yet Another Obama Embarrassment,....or Two!

Obama gave a recent speech in a Toledo, Ohio restaurant where he linked the Stimulus of paying auto workers (read Union members and democrat voters) to the restaurant’s benefit because the autoworkers had to have a place to eat..hence business for the restaurant. Good example of trickle down economics, in which Ronald Reagan took mega tons of Democrat garbage over. Obama would have been correct, but the Restaurant went out of business the following week. Another embarrassment for the President, following another week of terrible economic news. What is that? 125 consecutive weeks of poor economic news? Somebody could call this a trend!

Next we find the President in North Carolina, telling workers at a plant that he inherited the economic problems from George Bush, and that he and his team are doing all they can to put the country’s economic health back together. Of course, this plant is full of Union workers, whose dues go to support Democrats, and from the Democrats come ear marks and stimulus money to support the unions – kind of like an unholy alliance,…but I digress,……we come to find out that 50% of this company's products are manufactured in China!! Dohh! Another embarrassment for the President.

My Summer Reading List

With the long days and short nights of summer comes me looking forward to the late evenings when I can spend 45 minute to an hour reading. Just started Laura Hillenbrand's new book and she of course was the author of "Seabiscuit" which went on to become a fan movie favorite. The other authors and books of theirs I have in the que to read are:

Mark Levin,.....was appointed to the Reagan administration and is a lawyer, author and the host of American syndicated radio show The Mark Levin Show. He is president of the Landmark Legal Foundation, has authored bestselling books and contributes commentary to various media outlets such as National Review Online where he is a currently credited author.

Glenn Beck,.....is an American conservative radio and television host, author, entrepreneur, and political commentator. He hosts the Glenn Beck Program, a nationally syndicated talk-radio show that airs throughout the United States on Premiere Radio Networks; and also Glenn Beck on Fox News Channel. Beck has authored six New York Times-bestselling books.

Sean Hannity,....American radio and television host, author, and conservative political commentator and host of The Sean Hannity Show, a nationally syndicated talk-radio show. Hannity has written three New York Times bestselling books:
Let Freedom Ring: Winning the War of Liberty over Liberalism, Deliver Us from Evil: Defeating Terrorism, Despotism, and Liberalism, and, Conservative Victory: Defeating Obama’s Radical Agenda.

Marcus Luttrell,....former Petty Officer First Class and United States Navy SEAL. He received the Navy Cross for his actions in 2005 facing Taliban fighters during Operation Red Wings in Afghanistan. His amazing story of heroism and survival is articulated in "Lone Survivor".

David Mamet,....best politically known as "I am no longer a brain dead liberal",
is an American playwright, essayist, screenwriter and film director. Best known to the non-political world as a playwright, Mamet has won a Pulitzer Prize, and Tony nominations for Glengarry Glen Ross and Speed-the-Plow. As a screenwriter, he received Oscar nominations for The Verdict (1982) and Wag the Dog (1997).

Andrew Ross Sorkin,....a financial columnist for The New York Times and well known for exposing some of the crap that put us deeper into a financial crisis, including the collapse of Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers, and the government bailout of other major investment banks and AIG.

Leave a comment if you have a summer reading list or want to recommend a book.

Allan Simpson - I used to Like Him!

This is an older letter, perhaps 8 months old, where Alan Simpson, Senator from Wyoming and Co-Chair of Obama's deficit commission, calls senior citizens the Greediest Generation as he compared "Social Security" to a Milk Cow with 310 million teats. Here's a response in a letter from a unknown farmer in Montana ....
I think he is a little ticked off! He also tells it like it is !

"Hey Alan, let's get a few things straight..

1. As a career politician, you have been on the public teat for FIFTY YEARS.

2.. I have been paying Social Security taxes for 48 YEARS (since I was 15 years old. I am now 63).

3 My Social Security payments, and those of millions of other Americans, were safely tucked away in an interest bearing account for decades until you political pukes decided to raid the account and give OUR money to a bunch of zero ambition losers in return for votes, thus bankrupting the system and turning Social Security into a Ponzi scheme that would have made Bernie Madoff proud.

4. Recently, just like Lucy & Charlie Brown, you and your ilk pulled the proverbial football away from millions of American seniors nearing retirement and moved the goalposts for full retirement from age 65 to age 67. NOW, you and your shill commission are proposing to move the goalposts YET AGAIN.

5 I, and millions of other Americans, have been paying into Medicare from Day One, and now you morons propose to change the rules of the game. Why? Because you idiots mismanaged other parts of the economy to such an extent that you need to steal money from Medicare to pay the bills.

6. I, and millions of other Americans, have been paying income taxes our entire lives, and now you propose to increase our taxes yet again. Why? Because you incompetent bastards spent our money so profligately that you just kept on spending even after you ran out of money. Now, you come to the American taxpayers and say you need more to pay off YOUR debt.

To add insult to injury, you label us "greedy" for calling "bullshit" on your incompetence. Well, Captain Bullshit, I have a few questions for YOU.

1. How much money have you earned from the American taxpayers during your pathetic 50-year political career?

2. At what age did you retire from your pathetic political career, and how much are you receiving in annual retirement benefits from the American taxpayers?

3. How much do you pay for YOUR government provided health insurance?

4. What cuts in YOUR retirement and health care benefits are you proposing in your disgusting deficit reduction proposal, or, as usual, have you exempted yourself and your political cronies?

It is you, Captain Bullshit, and your political co-conspirators called Congress who are the "greedy" ones. It is you and your fellow nutcases who have bankrupted America and stolen the American dream from millions of loyal, patriotic taxpayers. And for what? Votes. That's right,

Sir, You and yours have bankrupted America for the sole purpose of advancing your pathetic political careers. You know it, we know it, and you know that we know it.

Racial Quota Scandal at Obama Justice Department

Yet another example of arrogance from the current Administration, this article is by Tom Fitton, a repost from Big Government.com
Add BigGovernment.com to your book marks.
Big Government is an excellent site.

Judicial Watch uncovered hundreds of documents from the City of Dayton, Ohio, showing that Department of Justice (DOJ) officials pressured the Dayton Police and Fire Departments to lower testing standards because not enough African-American candidates passed the written exam. On May 25, Judicial Watch also filed a lawsuit against the DOJ to obtain additional records related to the Dayton program after the DOJ failed to respond to a Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 11-971)).

Here’s how messed up the situation has gotten at the Obama DOJ when it comes to racial discrimination. As you may recall, the DOJ abandoned its own lawsuit against members of the radical New Black Panther Party who threatened and intimidated white voters on Election Day 2008. (The leftist NAACP appears to have helped call the shots on the case dismissal.)

And now these new documents detail a scheme by DOJ officials to bully the City of Dayton, Ohio, into lowering testing standards for firefighter and police recruits because minority candidates did not perform well enough on the written exam. (One of the most shocking claims by the DOJ is that it’s not all that important for firefighters to be able to read and write!)

This “racial quota” scheme, while clearly shameless in its intent, also seems to violate laws against discrimination and Supreme Court precedent.

On June 29, 2009, the Supreme Court ruled that city officials in New Haven, Connecticut, violated the rights of white firefighters when they discarded the results of a promotions test because minority firefighters performed poorly on the test. “The city rejected the test results solely because the higher scoring candidates were white,” Justice Anthony M. Kennedy wrote for the majority. (Ricci et al. v. DeStefano et al. (No. 07–1428)).

But that didn’t stop the Obama DOJ.

The documents obtained from Dayton by Judicial Watch include the City’s standards and test materials for police and firefighter candidates produced by Fire & Police Selection, Inc., a company with a 15-year track record of designing and validating tests used to recruit police officers and firefighters.

The documents also include correspondence between the City of Dayton and the DOJ as DOJ officials conducted their analysis of the Dayton recruitment and testing program. (A “Consent Decree” was signed by both parties to resolve a discrimination lawsuit filed by the DOJ against the City of Dayton which mandated the analysis.)

The City of Dayton submitted ahead of time its detailed recruitment and testing plans (including its written examination) per the request of the DOJ. Dayton also took steps to focus its recruitment strategy on “minority – African-Americans, Hispanic, Asian, Females and other underrepresented minority groups.” These plans apparently did not elicit any significant objection from the DOJ until the tests had been administered and scores were calculated.

According to an internal assessment by Fire & Police Selection, Inc., “An exhaustive item-level analysis was conducted on the data from the administration and our statisticians did not identify any significantly problematic items that negatively affected the reliability of the test.” But after reviewing the test results, the DOJ registered its objections.

In a letter dated February 7, 2011, DOJ Senior Attorney Barbara Thawley informed the City of Dayton the DOJ rejected the written portion of the Dayton examination: “The United States has determined that the City’s proposed use of the written examination violates…the Civil Rights Act of 1964…because it has a statistically significant disparate impact upon African-American candidates…” The letter closed by threatening court action. A subsequent letter on February 17, 2011, suggests the written exam be used as a “pass-fail” screening device, which the DOJ described as a “compromise.”

The DOJ also objected to the use of a written test in general for firefighter applicants. “With regard to the writing portion for firefighter, it seems unusual to me. I have never seen a fire department give a writing test to entry level firefighter applicants. From what I know about the job, it seems very unlikely that an entry level firefighter would have to do much writing,” wrote Ms. Thawley. “All of our firefighters are either EMT or paramedics and do a lot of report writing,” responded Giselle S. Johnson, Secretary and Chief Examiner, Civil Service Board.

On February 18, 2011, Fire & Police Selection, Inc. CEO Dan Biddle issued a sharp rebuttal to the government’s claims regarding its test.

…we are appalled to learn that the DOJ has branded our tests as “invalid,” despite having been appraised [sic.] openly in advance of our validation steps, methods, and resulting data, and despite having never raised a single concern over the process during the entire seven month-period prior to the exam administration…Click here.

…Only at this point, two months after the exams were given, has the DOJ made any assertion about the unfairness or impropriety of the selection exam, much less that the tests are not valid. This complete reversal and flip-flop of judgment contradicts DOJ’s position prior to test administration, i.e. that the test was valid. Given that the only new information introduced after test administration was test scores and passing rates by race, it is not a difficult leap to conclude that the DOJ’s decision to contradict their prior position is drive solely by test scores and passing rates by race…In fact, it is illegal and in direct violation of Title VII and the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment.

…It is our opinion that throwing out the exam results will inevitably lend to less qualified candidates taking the place of qualified candidates. We therefore recommend that the DOJ concedes with the City’s decision to move forward with the exam results, selecting one of three available cutoffs that align with the minimum competency levels established by the validation study.

According to a report by Dayton’s ABC News affiliate on March 11, 2011, the ultimate compromise struck between the City of Dayton and the DOJ resulted in a lowering of test standards for Police Department candidates:

Dayton Police Department is lowering its testing standards for recruits. It’s a move required by the U.S. Department of Justice after it says not enough African-Americans passed the exam. Dayton is in desperate need of officers to replace dozens of retirees. The hiring process was postponed for months because the D.O.J. rejected the original scores provided by the Dayton Civil Service Board, which administers the test.

Under the previous requirements, candidates had to get a 66% on part one of the exam and a 72% on part two. The D.O.J. approved new scoring policy only requires potential police officers to get a 58% and a 63%. That’s the equivalent of an ‘F’ and a ‘D’.

One would be hard pressed to find a more egregious example of the unlawful application of race-based quotas. These documents show the City of Dayton bent over backward to accommodate the DOJ’s ridiculous demands. But the racialists at the Holder Justice Department did not care a whit about the testing process; they cared only about the results and race quotas.

Now the DOJ has cut standards and gamed the system to give critical first responder jobs to less qualified candidates. This puts the public safety at risk. And, as is typical, this Justice Department can’t be bothered to comply with basic FOIA law and tell the American people exactly what it is up to.

Have You Seen the Mad Hatter?

I spent the weekend traveling across a state listening to talk radio where I heard some things that made me think I cross into another dimension.

I listened to a radio program called "The Weekend" based out of Boston I believe. The host, and I'm sorry I did not get his name, was talking out Pediatricians across the Nation are having parents of their patients answer a "safety" survey in which they are asked if "there are any guns in the house?". A thinly veiled attempt by the liberal, anti-gun and anti-constitution crowd to collect gun ownership records,...perhaps at the urging of the Administration? One of the parent's who called into the show said he asked his child's Doctor "Why do you want to know that?" The Doctor replied "It's a safety issue." Then the parent said "Well, Doctors are responsible for 100 times more negligent deaths than guns do....and besides, if this was a safety issue why did you not ask me about loose handrails on stairs, swimming pools and pit bulls in the house?" This caller also said that a week later he received a notice in the mail from the Pediatrician saying this family had to find a new Doctor!

Florida recently passed a law which made it illegal for Doctors to question their patients about gun ownership. A representative from the American Pediatrics Association says the this organization will push for laws in all States to allow for gun ownership to be questioned in Doctor's offices.

Changing radio channels, the kicker was a talk show about health where the Doctor, whose name sounded something like Ebeenezzer bin Joseph, in between telling old people to buy his supplements,...tons of his supplements,.....lamented that we live in a police state where the cops recently, upon serving a warrant shot a Veteran who was carrying a rifle that had the safety still on. Like that totally made it okay to point a gun at cops with the safety on, and like in a dynamic situation the cops are supposed to notice this. Then this idiot Doctor said that all cops,...yes, he said all cops,....carry throw down guns so they can kill people and make it justifiable.

I then turned the radio off and watched closely for the Mad Hatter and Alice as I was driving down that lonely country road...........I just couldn't take anymore that day.

Please Support President Obama's Cost Cutting Example

I hope all Americans can be as unselfish as President Obama and follow his example on tightening our belts.

The President ordered the cabinet to cut $100 million from the $3.5 trillion federal budget.

I'm so impressed by this sacrifice that I have decided to do the same thing with my personal budget.

I spend about $2000 a month on groceries, household expenses, medicine, utilities, etc, but it's time to get out the budget cutting axe, go through my expenses, and cut back.

I'm going to cut my spending at exactly the same ratio, 1/35,000 of my total budget.

After doing the math, it looks like instead of spending $2000 a month; I'm going to have to cut that number by,......six cents. Yes that's right, I'm going to have to get by with $1999.94, but that's what sacrifice is all about. I'll just have to do without some things, that are, frankly, luxuries.

In all seriousness,... did the president actually think no one would do the math?

Another NRA Victory

Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals Holds NRA Entitled to Attorneys’ Fees in Lawsuits Against Chicago and Oak Park, Illinois

On Thursday 2 June 2011, the U.S. Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals conclusively and forcefully held, without need for oral argument, that the National Rifle Association has the right to recover attorneys’ fees in its lawsuits against the city of Chicago's and the village of Oak Park’s unconstitutional gun bans. The court held that the NRA was a prevailing party in the case of National Rifle Association v. City of Chicago and Village of Oak Park.

“This is a Second Amendment victory and a civil rights victory. The National Rifle Association and the Second Amendment prevailed against those who sought to deny the right to keep and bear arms in Chicago and Oak Park,” said Chris W. Cox, executive director of NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action. “The attempt to avoid paying the NRA’s attorneys’ fees was rightly found to be unjust by the Court."

After the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the Second Amendment guarantees a fundamental right to keep and bear arms for all Americans in the historic McDonald v. Chicago and NRA v. Chicago and Oak Park cases, it remanded them for the purpose of issuing an injunction against Chicago and Oak Park's unconstitutional gun ordinances. Before that injunction was issued, however, those ordinances were repealed. The City and the Village then argued that the NRA was not a prevailing party and should not be allowed to recover attorneys’ fees. The District Court, which originally ruled against the NRA, agreed and denied the fee award.

Today’s Seventh Circuit decision overturns that ruling, holding instead that the NRA is indeed a prevailing party and is entitled to receive reimbursement for attorneys’ fees. The amount to be recovered will be established by the District Court.

“This is a major victory for the NRA. While we are grateful to recover our attorneys’ fees, however, we remain steadfast in our belief that Chicago and Oak Park continue to circumvent the law of the land and deny their law-abiding residents the Second Amendment freedoms protected by the Constitution. We will continue to fight those efforts until the Second Amendment is fully respected," concluded Cox.

About the NRA

Established in 1871, the National Rifle Association is America’s oldest civil rights and sportsmen's group. Four million members strong, NRA continues its mission to uphold Second Amendment rights and to advocate enforcement of existing laws against violent offenders to reduce crime. The Association remains the nation's leader in firearm education and training for law-abiding gun owners, law enforcement and the military.

Obama Records,.....or Lack Thereof

This was sent to us by a friend of Cowboys and Tea Parties. Pretty damn scary. Every other Presidential candidate and President has released tons of documents,.. their lives have been an open book,....not so with President Obama.

The fact is we know less about President Obama than perhaps any other president in American history and much of this is due to actual efforts to hide his record. This should concern all Americans.

A nation-wide network of researchers has sprung up to attempt to fill in the blanks, but at every opportunity Obama’s high-priced lawyers have built walls around various records or simply made them disappear. It is estimated that Obama’s legal team has now spent well over $1.4 million dollars blocking access to documents every American should have access to. The question is why would he spend so much money to do this?

The president who campaigned for a more “open government” and “full disclosure” will not unseal his medical records, his school records, his birth records or his passport records. He will not release his Harvard records, his Columbia College records, or his Occidental College records—he will not even release his Columbia College thesis. All his legislative records from the Illinois State Senate are missing and he claims his scheduling records during those State Senate years are lost as well. In addition, no one can find his school records for the elite K-12 college prep school, Punahou School, he attended in Hawaii.

What is he hiding? Well, for starters, some of these records will shed light on his citizenship and birth.

What’s more, there are questions about how he paid for his Harvard Law School education since, despite a claim by Michele Obama, no one has produced any evidence that he received student loans. The Obamas will not release any student loan details despite repeated requests from the Chicago Tribune. However, it appears that his Harvard education may have been paid for by a foreign source. Khalid Al-Mansour, an advisor to Saudi prince Al-Walid bin Talah, told Manhattan Borough president, Percy Sutton, that he was raising money for Obama’s Harvard tuition. Incidentally, Prince Tala is the largest donor to CAIR, a Muslim group declared by the U.S. Government in 2007 as an unindicted co-conspirator in a terrorist financing trial. At least three of CAIR’s leaders have been indicted for terrorist activities. Al-Mansour’s admission opens up speculation as to whether Muslim interests have assisted Obama’s career in the hope he would eventually be in a position someday to promote their interests.

More recently, it was discovered that Obama’s Selective Service card may have been doctored. Federal law requires all American males to register for the Selective Service (the draft) in case a major war broke out. Blogger Debbie Schlussel has discovered solid evidence that Obama’s Selective Service registration form was submitted not when he was younger as required, but rather in 2008 and then altered to look older. Indeed, the forgers forgot to alter the “Document Location Number” which shows that it is clearly a 2008 form. This is fraud and it’s a felony and Schlussel allegations are backed up by Stephen Coffman, a former high-ranking Federal agent. Moreover, the document shows a September 4th, 1980 date and the location of the transaction as Hawaii, but at that time Obama was thousands of miles away attending Occidental College in Los Angeles.

The real reason why Obama probably did not submit this form as a teenager is that he assumed his Kenyan or Indonesian citizenship exempted him from this requirement. But clearly, as he grew older and entered politics, he saw that any documents revealing a foreign birth – Selective Service registration, birth certificate, school applications, etc – would be problematic if he ran for the presidency. Thus, it is not a coincidence that every document which contains information about his birth or citizenship is either missing, sealed, or has been altered.

Indeed, everywhere one looks into Obama’s background, we find sealed records, scrubbed websites, altered documents, deception and unanswered questions. Can anyone imagine for a second if John McCain or George Bush had blocked access to his school, medical, and birth records? It would have been headlines but as with everything else concerning Obama, the media has given him a pass on this.

Of all these marvels, the latest mystery and probably most perplexing is that of Obama’s social security number. It appears that Obama has multiple identities in term of possessing numerous social security numbers. Orly Taitz, an attorney who has filed numerous suits against Obama regarding his eligibility to serve as president, appears to be the first to discover this. In her suit, representing a number of military officers who are refusing to serve under an ineligible commander in chief, she hired private investigator Neil Sankey to conduct research on Obama’s prior addresses and Social Society numbers. Using Intelius, Lexis Nexis, Choice Point and other public records, Sankey found around 25 Social Security numbers connected with Obama’s name.

However, it may not be as many as 25, since Sankey also searched using closely related names such as: “Barak Obama,” “Batock Obama,” “Barok Obama,” and “Barrack Obama.” There may very well be some Kenyans living in America with the same last name and a similar first name. In any case, I will exclude these records for the purpose of this research and focus only on names spelled exactly like his name. Moreover, we can verify many of the Social Security numbers as valid since they’re connected to addresses at which we know Obama resided. Needless to say, there are also a slew of address and social security numbers connected to addresses in states that Obama has no known connection to.

In Obama’s home state, Illinois, Sankey tracked down 16 different addresses for a Barack Obama or a Barack H. Obama, of which all are addresses he was known to have lived at. Two Social Security numbers appear for these addresses, one beginning with 042 and one starting 364.

In California, where Obama attended Occidental College, there are six addresses listed for him, all within easy driving distance of the college. However, there are three Social Security numbers connected to these addresses, 537 and two others, each beginning with 999.

There are no addresses listed in New York where he attended Columbia University, but there is one listed for him in nearby Jackson, NJ, with a Social Security number beginning with 485.
Pictured: 713 Hart Senate Office Building.

Pictured: 713 Hart Senate Office Building.

In Massachusetts – where Obama attended Harvard Law School – we find three addresses, all using the 042 Social Security number. After Obama was elected to the United States Senate in 2005, he moved into an apartment at 300 Massachusetts Ave NW; the Social Security number attached to that address is the 042 one. Yet, three years later, Obama used a different Social Security number for an address listed as: 713 Hart Senate Office Building. This was the address of his United States Senate office. This Social Security number began with 282 and was verified by the government in 2008.

This mystery grows even stranger as other addresses and Social Security numbers for Barack Obama appear in a dozen other states not known to be connected to him. Again, I am excluding those records names not spelled exactly like his name.

Tennessee, one address with a Social Security number beginning with 427

Colorado, one address, with a Social Security number beginning with 456.

Utah, two addresses, with two Social Security numbers beginning with 901 and 799.

Missouri has one address and one Social Security number beginning with 999.

Florida has two addresses listed for his him, three if you count one listed as “Barry Obama.” One is connected to a Social Security number beginning with 762.

In Georgia there are three addresses listed for him, all with different Social Security numbers: 579, 420, and 423.

In Texas there are four different addresses listed for him, one is connected to Social Security number 675.

There are two addresses listed for Barack Obama in Oregon and one address listed for him in the states of Wisconsin, Michigan, South Carolina, and Pennsylvania.

All told, there are 49 addresses and 16 different Social Security numbers listed for a person whose name is spelled “Barack Obama.” In some cases, the middle initial “H” is listed. If you were to expand the search to include closely related names such as: “Barac,” “Barak,” and “Barrack” Obama, you would find more than a dozen additional addresses and Social Security numbers.

Finally, the one Social Security number Obama most frequently used, the one beginning with 042, is a number issued in Connecticut sometime during 1976-1977, yet there is no record of Obama ever living or working in Connecticut. Indeed, during this time period Obama would have been 15-16 years old and living in Hawaii at the time.

Rep. Weiner, Not Only a Fiend, but a Liar as Well

Upon the admission of Rep Anthony Weiner that he lied about sending lewd and pornographic pictures of himself to women he has not even met over Twitter, the Democratic party is struggling to answer why is there a double standard for politicians. If a Republican is caught up in a sex related scandal there is immediate and across the board calls for his/her resignation. Not so for Democrats, where they enjoy the support of the press and the spin from their political cohorts.

The silence on calls for Weiners resignation from the likes of Chucky Schumer and Nancy Pelosi.

From an AP article titled: Dem leaders struggle on Weiner's future

WASHINGTON – So far, House Democratic leaders haven't publicly demanded Rep. Anthony Weiner resign after admitting he sent suggestive photos of himself in his underwear via Twitter and then lied about it to everyone within earshot.

But they've made it clear they'd appreciate it if he'd go away. And soon.

In statements within an hour of Weiner's stunning admission on Monday, not a single Democrat volunteered support for the man long mentioned as a possible future mayor of New York. And notably, none chose to comment on his defiant vow: "I am not resigning."

Rep. Nancy Pelosi, the party leader, said she was "disappointed and saddened." She and other Democrats called for an ethics committee investigation to determine whether Weiner had broken any House rules.

Other Democrats said they agreed.

Purely in political terms, violating House rules would be the least of the woes Weiner has inflicted on his party, currently trying to make the case that Republican policies fall harshly on female voters.

By his own admission, he behaved badly toward women, describing a series of sexually-infused exchanges via Twitter over the past three years.

"I have engaged in several inappropriate conversations conducted over Twitter, Facebook, email and occasionally on the phone with women I had met online," he said at his news conference in New York.

"I've exchanged messages and photos of an explicit nature with about six women over the last three years," he added, although he quickly added he had not met any of the women or "had physical relationships at any time."

He apologized repeatedly and profusely to his wife, who was not in attendance.

Men behaving badly toward women hardly counts as news in the Capitol.

Sen. John Ensign, R-Nev., resigned a few weeks ago to avoid having to testify under oath before the Senate ethics committee about a tangled affair. Among other findings, the panel reported he had once asked his mistress to marry him in a proposal made while the two were attending a National Prayer Breakfast.

But on health care and many other issues, Democrats are busy trying to build a case that women should turn Republicans out of office at the next election. Fitting Weiner's suggestive photos of himself, and his sexually-charged banter, into that theme is something they presumably would like to avoid.

The immediate precedent for Weiner's behavior in the House concerns former Rep. Chris Lee, a Republican who resigned in February after shirtless photos he sent to a woman he had met on Craigslist were published online.

Lee was gone virtually before his transgression became known publicly, shown the door by the Republican leadership.

Republicans have been careful to avoid injecting themselves into Weiner's predicament, preferring to let Democrats stew in it themselves. Eventually, the question of a double standard is all but certain to be suggested by GOP officials, if not by others.

Weiner's response to a question along those lines showed how difficult an answer might be. "Well, I don't want to get into anyone else's situation, but I can tell you about mine. And it's one that I — that I regret, that didn't have to do with my government service per se, and had to do with a personal weakness."

Nor are fellow Democrats in Congress likely to take it well that Weiner lied to them, as well as to his wife and the public.

Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., defended Weiner a week ago, based on the congressman's assurances that he had not been involved in the photo sent via Twitter.

A few hours after Weiner's news conference, Schumer said in a statement that Weiner "remains a talented and committed public servant, and I pray he and his family can get through these difficult times."

Schumer did not say whether Weiner should remain in Congress. But his spokesman, Brian Fallon, said the senator thinks "that should be up to his constituents to decide."

However much lying may be invoked as a betrayal of trust, it also raises questions about what other damaging information may not yet be known.

Weiner was asked about Andrew Breitbart, a conservative who had materialized before the news conference and implied he had an X-rated photo of the congressman.

"Can you say that is not true?" Weiner was asked.

"No, I cannot," he said.

Lets Raise Some Cain! - Herman Cain on the Political Rise

Herman Cain top the Town Hall straw poll for the Republican Presidential choice in May 2011 - still 18 months away from the 2012 election, but surprising none the less for Cain is a political newcomer. In fact, a lot of mainstream, old guard Republicans are challenging Cain on his lack of experience, saying his lack of political experience will hurt. Cain's response is "....that's all you have in Washington D.C. is politicians, and how has that worked out for us so far?" Good Point, Mr. Cain.

This is what Town Hall and other sites are saying about Herman Cain,...and oh by the way, what a great name,....it lends itself to nicknames like Herminator,...or HurriCain,....or a slogan,...Jump on the Herman Cain Train.

2012 hopeful and former Godfather pizza CEO Herman Cain is the hottest thing in Republican presidential politics. Cain, a businessman who served as the CEO of Godfather's pizza chain, has been winning over converts with his fiery rhetorical flourishes and non-political background.

He was widely judged to have emerged as the winner from last month's presidential debate, which included, among others, former Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty. And a new Gallup poll showed Cain receiving a surprisingly strong eight percent support, putting him ahead of nationally-known candidates like Rick Santorum and Michele Bachmann.

And, he was the most searched-for GOP candidate on Yahoo! in the last month by far, overtaking Ron Paul from the previous month.

While Cain is opening lots of Republican eyes, he's not exactly new to politics.
In 1994, he became a conservative hero when he confronted then President Bill Clinton at a nationally televised health care town hall in Omaha, Nebraska. Ten years later, Cain ran in a Senate primary in Georgia against a Republican Congressman who enjoyed the backing of the political establishment. He won just 26 percent of the vote.

So can Cain keep it up? He is the most charismatic candidate in the field -- he calls himself the Herminator -- and is a favorite of the tea party movement.

But, he's still little known by Republican voters nationally and could struggle to stay financially competitive with people like former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney and former Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty.

Cain is rising at the moment. But he'll need a top three finish in Iowa's caucuses next year to be truly taken seriously.

Spinning Leftist Columnists

I was sent an article from a liberal columnist named Froma Harrop. I am not making her name up, she is a columnist for Creators Syndicate out of Los Angeles (I know - figure the odds) and I have in fact mentioned her dribble once or twice before on this site.

Her latest column, or at least the latest one I read, is entitled "Playing Chicken with the US Debt Ceiling". Within the column she contends that "the Republicans are playing a honking stupid game of chicken that could plunge a struggling economy into total misery." This jackass must think the American people are too stupid to realize that Democrat's were in control the past four years; spent this country to where we are now - a hair breadths away from national bankruptcy; failed to
produce a budget for the past couple of years while they throw stones and make up lies about Congressman Ryan's proposed budget destroying Medicare - it was Obamacare that took $500 billion - yes 500 BILLION out of Medicare; and, the one thing the American people understand is that if you continually overspend - that is spend more than you make, then you have two choices: 1 - make some hard choices and go without all but the essentials, or 2 - go bankrupt and do without everything.

Froma Harrop, a leftist stooge, gives us insight into the Liberal strategy: Do nothing on the federal debt; do nothing to cut entitlements (after all these are democrat voters); and, continue to spin the facts and make the Republicans look like the ones who are taking this country over the brink by failure to pass an increase in the federal debt limit.

And another thing that rubs my fur wrong, is that this clown is from California who has 6 Businesses leaving the state every week due to the unfriendly business climate caused by over regulation and massive taxation. For example the small business tax index for California is over 50, while a state like Texas, with business friendly (lack of) regulations has a business tax index of 12. No wonder why the Federal Government is going bankrupt, it is following California's lead!

You Cut Phase II - First of June 2011

Congress needs your vote. Go to http://www.majorityleader.gov/YouCut/ and vote on one of the three money pits below, or provide your own ideas on cutting the Federal spending plan.

Terminate U.S. Contributions to the World Bank's Clean Technology Fund
Potential Savings: $838 million
In 2008, the U.S. government committed to make $2 billion in contributions to climate change activities at the World Bank, two-thirds of which were intended for the Clean Technology Fund. The Clean Technology Fund subsidizes the construction in developing countries of “clean” energy generation facilities that are more expensive than traditional coal or oil-based power plants. The fund has developed a wind energy farm in Mexico and a geothermal power plant in Indonesia. So far, the U.S. has provided $481 million of the total estimated U.S. contribution of $1.3 billion for the Clean Technology Fund.

Terminate the Federal Railroad Administration’s Funding of High-Speed Rail Projects
Potential Savings: $3.8 billion
The 2009 Stimulus bill provided $8 billion in grants to develop high-speed rail lines intended to shorten passenger rail travel times with trains operating at between 90 and 250 miles per hour. Another $2.1 billion was appropriated for these projects in the last two fiscal years, although no funding was provided in the final appropriations for FY 2011. These grants fund construction of rail lines that States will then be required to support with annual operating subsidies. Critics note that only two high speed rail lines in the world are actually profitable. Due to the potential taxpayer exposure from future operating subsidies, several Governors have refused federal high-speed rail funds.

Terminate Climate Change Activities at the National Park Service
Potential Savings: $4.5 million
The National Park Service has established a Climate Change Response Office and a Climate Change Monitoring System as part of a department-wide mandate by the Secretary of the Interior to devote more resources to the issue of global warming. The office will do “scenario planning” on possible warming effects within the parks, in addition to formulating policies that reduce the Park Service’s “carbon footprint.” In addition, the office will inform staff and visitors about the impacts of climate change in the parks. Funding for these activities was zeroed out in HR 1, however this termination was not enacted as part of the final budget agreement for FY 2011.

Interesting Wednesday, 1 June 2011

It never fails, just when you get bored the friendly cable news will brighten you day with wonder.

Woke up this morning to find out that despite 114 Democrat Congressmen signing a letter asking for Congress to increase the National Debt limit, only 97 voted for to increase it, which of course they were resoundingly defeated in one of the best examples of bipartisanship in recent years. I guess some politicians are getting the message. It remains to be seen if they have the guts to pass a budget to bring this Nation out of debt.

If the Dems counter measures to Republican calls for fiscal sanity are any indicator, then we’ll probably not have any sane budget until the Republicans take both the Senate and the Executive office in November 2012.

Another entertaining Democrat embarrassing event was Anthony Weiner (D-NY) explanation, if you can call it that, of a Twitter message displaying a picture of a man from the waist down in his underpants, going from Weiner’s Twitter account to a young women in Seattle . Weiner’s alleged past deviancies and speculation on a foreign power hacking into his account are probably dead end trails. However, this is a crime and despite repeated calls for Weiner to lodge a criminal complaint with the Capitol Police, they have gone unanswered,… as have a “yes” or “no” answer if Weiner himself was responsible for what the press are calling the “weiner shot”. Weiner – here’s a credibility tip,….. if it is still possible for you to gain credibility,…..if it wasn’t you that posted that Twitter shot then file a criminal complain as we just cannot have Congressmen’s electronic accounts being hacked into to.
