Bad Timing to Demonstrate Against Islamaphobia

If there is a condition called "Islamaphobia", which would seem to be a term invented to define an irrational dislike or fear of the Islam religion, this week would be a bad week to host a demonstration against this Islamaphobia.

Today's headlines blare about more U.S. Troops being killed in Afghanistan by radical Islamic fundamentalists.

Another headlines tells us that two Muslims were arrested on a transatlantic flight while on an apparent "dry run" to commit a terrorist act. They were arrested with cell phones taped to a Pepto-Bismal bottle obviously simulating a improvised explosive device.

Yet, Islamic groups plan to demonstrate today against Islamaphobia!?!.

They would be much better received if they stood up and demonstrated against terrorist and criminal acts being perpetuated in the name of Islam. Until then, as far as I am concerned, they are part of the problem and add nothing to the solution.
