Michelle Bachmann - Presidential Candidate

Michelle Bachmann (R-MN), a sitting Congresswoman is now running for the 2012 Republican Presidential Nomination. Although I real like what I hear out of Herman Cain – the HurriCain,.... Michelle Bachmann is no slouch when it comes to fiscal and social conservative values. She is a former IRS tax lawyer and a strong Constitutionalist who has has not problems bucking the Republican Party leadership. That’s why she is a Tea Party favorite.

Bachmann was born April 6, 1956 in Waterloo, Iowa, married Marcus Bachmann, at Winona State University while both were Democrats supporting the Idiot Jimmy Carter.

Bachmann, who is an evangelical Lutheran and solidly pro-life, started in politics through disappointment with the Minnesota 's education system. She ran for the local school board in 1999, losing that election but won a seat in the Minnesota next year. Congresswoman Bachmann and her husband have fostered 23 children along with their own 5 children.

She has been a Congresswoman since 2006, being the first Republican woman to win election to Congress from Minnesota.

Bachman is certainly controversial usually through thinking out loud and it doesn’t help when there is a double standard between Republicans and Democrats, where Republicans are held to a much stricter account of what they say.

Mark our words here: Michelle Bachmann will be a force to be reckoned with, probably often directing the debate but will most probably end up on the ticket as the Vice-Presidential nominee because the perceptions about her lack of readiness or ability to come to the middle. Which is just a shame. If you look at Obama's qualifications (or extreme lack of them) for the executive office when he was running, they are in stark contrast to the exceptional and varied experience each and every Republican candidate brings to the table. But here we go again,....that double standard.

  1. I laike wgat I hear and see thus far in the past with Mrs. Bachmann. However, I would like to hear her take on veterans issues. Is a Cain-Bachmann ticket to much to ask for?
