With the long days and short nights of summer comes me looking forward to the late evenings when I can spend 45 minute to an hour reading. Just started Laura Hillenbrand's new book and she of course was the author of "Seabiscuit" which went on to become a fan movie favorite. The other authors and books of theirs I have in the que to read are:
Mark Levin,.....was appointed to the Reagan administration and is a lawyer, author and the host of American syndicated radio show The Mark Levin Show. He is president of the Landmark Legal Foundation, has authored bestselling books and contributes commentary to various media outlets such as National Review Online where he is a currently credited author.
Glenn Beck,.....is an American conservative radio and television host, author, entrepreneur, and political commentator. He hosts the Glenn Beck Program, a nationally syndicated talk-radio show that airs throughout the United States on Premiere Radio Networks; and also Glenn Beck on Fox News Channel. Beck has authored six New York Times-bestselling books.
Sean Hannity,....American radio and television host, author, and conservative political commentator and host of The Sean Hannity Show, a nationally syndicated talk-radio show. Hannity has written three New York Times bestselling books:
Let Freedom Ring: Winning the War of Liberty over Liberalism, Deliver Us from Evil: Defeating Terrorism, Despotism, and Liberalism, and, Conservative Victory: Defeating Obama’s Radical Agenda.
Marcus Luttrell,....former Petty Officer First Class and United States Navy SEAL. He received the Navy Cross for his actions in 2005 facing Taliban fighters during Operation Red Wings in Afghanistan. His amazing story of heroism and survival is articulated in "Lone Survivor".
David Mamet,....best politically known as "I am no longer a brain dead liberal",
is an American playwright, essayist, screenwriter and film director. Best known to the non-political world as a playwright, Mamet has won a Pulitzer Prize, and Tony nominations for Glengarry Glen Ross and Speed-the-Plow. As a screenwriter, he received Oscar nominations for The Verdict (1982) and Wag the Dog (1997).
Andrew Ross Sorkin,....a financial columnist for The New York Times and well known for exposing some of the crap that put us deeper into a financial crisis, including the collapse of Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers, and the government bailout of other major investment banks and AIG.
Leave a comment if you have a summer reading list or want to recommend a book.

Glenn Beck's "The Overton Window"
Glenn Beck’s “The Overton Window” is a great novel.
He spins a novel based on events we have all seen occur in the last few years. I am no stranger to evil, but sections of this book made the hair on the back of my neck stand up due to the correlations with what is occurring inside this Country even as I write this.
I am not going to write a review nor give you the plot otherwise it’ll ruin a great story for you. But one passage in the book is worth repeating here. “The last act of a despotic regime is to loot the treasury”. Isn’t that what we are seeing now? It seems that much of Obama spending is going to benefit his friends like SEIU, ACORN and such; or pork barrel programs to benefit Democrat legislators, particular those battling for re-election.
The Recovery Act and the take over of General Motors resulted in the closing of many GM dealerships, with a loss of approximately 100,000 jobs. There was a disproportionate number of rural GM dealer closings. Is there any correlation between Obama doing very poorly in rural areas and government pressure to close dealerships in anti-Obama areas?
Anyway, pickup Glenn Beck’s book, “The Overton Window”, you won’t be disappointed. By the way,…I heard Glenn was coming out with a sequel next year.

Why We Have Not Yet Experienced Hyper-Inflation
Hyper-Inflation,....You know it's coming, but why has it been delayed? The U.S. is heading straight downhill towards national bankruptcy as we spend ourselves into greater and greater debt by creating entitlements and pork associated with buying votes. Glenn Beck says it much better than I can, so enjoy his video and see why Hyper-Inflation is delayed, but make no mistake about it,...it is coming.
