Obama failing to accept responsibility for the down spiraling economy. So what else is new?
Talk about spinning the facts,...and that's a nice way to put it,...others would call it lying when Obama, on Saturday 17 July during his weekly radio address, blamed Republican's for obstructing progress for a economic recovery, specifically on extended unemployment benefits and small business loans.
The Republicans have been blocking attempts to extend, the already extended, unemployment benefits because of the lack of desire to extend the deficit. At least some Republicans are listening to the people.
The legislation that allows for small business loans has not been brought up for a vote yet. The Republicans are trying to debate, amend, then pass a bill to stimulate small business, but as everyone knows the Democrats control the legislative process in both houses of Congress.
Obama comes across as a hypocrite and liar. Rampant government spending, the HUGE deficit, overbearing government regulations, threats to cancel the Bush tax cuts, Obamacare with it's higher taxes and mandates, and finally, and the pending Cap and Trade bill all are great obstacles to a economic recovery. So when Obama blames the Republicans he must be thinking that the American people are smart enough to find the truth.
