Cowboys had a reader ask about a comment about incompetence or criminality of the Obama's Administration, lately highlighted by the Solyandra debacle...and then re-enforced by the Light Squared company where the Obama White House tried to manipulate a DoD response to that company getting a contract that may impact in a negative manner of DoD Communications and GPS systems. Obama's financial holdings in Light Squared had nothing to do with this White House attempted bullying of DoD. Light Squared is a whole 'nother story itself.
Exposure being what it is,......or to put it plainly - sometimes crap just floats to the surface, a recent article by Holly Bailey, which you can read here, utilizes the Obama Economic Advisory Team as the keystone example of Administration incompetency. Cowboy's thinks it is as good of an example of any.
Ms Bailey uses Ron Suskind's new Book ""Confidence Men: Wall Street, Washington and the Education of a President", which highlights the opinion that Obama's hiring of his economic team (called in the book as a "team of rivals") appears to be one of the worst decisions he has made as president.
Cowboy's Comment: I would not describe these economic advisors as a "team of rivals" as their brains don't rival anything but a dung beetle. I would prefer to call them a "team of butt clowns".
Nearly three years after Obama taking office this country has faced increasing financial chaos - very little of which can be blamed on former President George Bush - however that doesn't stop Obama from blaming Bush.
Cowboy's Comment: What ever happened to the "Buck Stops Here". Well, what happened is that Obama is not a Harry Truman Democrat, President or Leader. He is more in the form of a Jimmy Carter Democrat.
Since the entry on duty of Obama's financial advisory team, this team has been a source for stories that highlight the textbook dysfunctionality. Let's see: Christina Romer, the former chairwoman of the Council of Economic Advisers; Larry Summers, the former director of the National Economic Council; Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner; Peter Orszag, then-chairman of the Office of Management and Budget; and who can forget then-White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel known for his "let's talk when your naked approach".
Obama and this country would be much better off if he hired Larry, Moe and Curly to manage this country financial future.
