California Penal Code 834b

California sure has a lot of say about Arizona's new Immigration Law. Before they start throwing rocks from their glass house, they need to look at their own laws,...to wit: California Penal Code 834b.

Read California Penal Code 834b below and see if you don't think that not only is California a big hypocrite, but they are violating their own State Laws by not enforcing Penal Code 834b. WHY IS THAT?

834b. (a) Every law enforcement agency in California shall fully cooperate with the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service regarding any person who is arrested if he or she is suspected of being present in the United States in violation of federal immigration laws. (b) With respect to any such person who is arrested, and suspected of being present in the United States in violation of federal immigration laws, every law enforcement agency shall do the following: (1) Attempt to verify the legal status of such person as a citizen of the United States, an alien lawfully admitted as a permanent resident, an alien lawfully admitted for a temporary period of time or as an alien who is present in the United States in violation of immigration laws. The verification process may include, but shall not be limited to, questioning the person regarding his or her date and place of birth, and entry into the United States, and demanding documentation to indicate his or her legal status. (2) Notify the person of his or her apparent status as an alien who is present in the United States in violation of federal immigration laws and inform him or her that, apart from any criminal justice proceedings, he or she must either obtain legal status or leave the United States . (3) Notify the Attorney General of California and the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service of the apparent illegal status and provide any additional information that may be requested by any other public entity. (c) Any legislative, administrative, or other action by a city, county, or other legally authorized local governmental entity with jurisdictional boundaries, or by a law enforcement agency, to prevent or limit the cooperation required by subdivision (a) is expressly prohibited.

We The People

See if the very beginning of the video does not give you goose bumps when you see the Constitution of the United States with the title "We The People",....

This entire video is incredibly well done and articulate.

The Young Cowboy and Ol' Blue

This story could also be entitled "the promising Politician"

A young cowboy from Wyoming goes off to college. Half way through the semester, he has foolishly squandered all his money. He calls home.

"Dad," he says, "You won't believe what modern education is developing! They actually have a program here in Laramie that will teach our dog, Ol' Blue how to talk!"

"That's amazing," his Dad says. "How do I get Ol' Blue in that program?"

"Just send him down here with $1,000" the young cowboy says. "I'll get him in the course."

So, his father sends the dog and $1,000.

About two-thirds of the way through the semester, the money again runs out. The boy calls home.

"So how's Ol' Blue doing son?" his father asks.

"Awesome, Dad, he's talking up a storm," he says, "but you just won't believe this - they've had such good results they have started to teach the animals how to read!"

"Read!?" says his father, "No kidding! How do we get Blue in that program?"

"Just send $2,500, I'll get him in the class." The money promptly arrives. But our hero has a problem. At the end of the year, his father will find out the dog can neither talk, nor read. So he shoots the dog.

When he arrives home at the end of the year, his father is all excited. "Where's Ol' Blue? I just can't wait to see him read something and talk!"

"Dad," the boy says, "I have some grim news. Yesterday morning, just before we left to drive home, Ol' Blue was in the living room, kicked back in the recliner, reading the Wall Street Journal, like he usually does. Then he turned to me and asked, "So, is your daddy still messing around with that little redhead who lives down the street?"

The father exclaimed, "I hope you shot that rotten liar before he talks to your Mother!"

"I sure did, Dad!"

"That's my boy!"

The kid went on to law school, and now serves in Washington D.C. as a
Congressman.

An American Perspective on the Entitlest Society

Received this on e-mail from friends of mine, both well educated (Masters Degree), bot giving much back to this country and veterans. The husband is a Vietnam Veteran and still serves today ministering to spiritual needs as a Chaplain.

I just want to make this clear...John is a first generation, born here American. I am 1/2 1st generation American, my Father immigrated from Macedonia when a child, and my Mother was 1st generation born here. We both come from immigrants as poor as they could be! No one gave our people anything, they never asked for anything. They were grateful for the opportunity to be in this country, and became citizens as soon as possible, learning English as fast as they could.

We are from avid flag wavers! When we were first married, John announced (to my horror at the time) that he was joining the Army to "pay back this country for being a wonderful place for our parents". He did, and he has.

What is wrong with this picture? NOTHING! Remember what Kennedy said about "not asking what your country could do for you, but what you could do for your country".

Something is terribly wrong with this attitude of being owed everything! If you do it for your children, you ruin them. If our country does it for everyone, it will also be ruined. You not only ruin the work ethic in those on the dole, but you ruin the work/reward reality of a successful life and country.

When you reward people who are doing something illegal, what does that say to those who obey the laws? How do you discriminate between the law breakers you do not prosecute, and the lawbreakers you chose to prosecute...perhaps based on culture or race? Hummm.
God help us...Linda

My note: Or how do you justify showing bias toward law breakers because they are from a certain ethnic group? Well, you do it because you want to create 18 million voters for your party, because maintaining your status and power is more important than the country.

Have You Read the Law?

Have You Read the Arizona Immigration Law? If not, then you should not have anything to say about it. Take a clue from the below video,..."Reading is Swell."

Just exactly who are the Racists?

There are bad apples in every group, be it an organization or an ethic group. I for one am tired of being called a racist if I support border security. I am tired of being called a racist if I want people to enter into this country legally.

"You old white people. It is your duty to die."

http://www.ccir.net/

HISPANIC LEADERS SPEAK OUT!

Augustin Cebada, Brown Berets; "Go back to Boston! Go

back to Plymouth Rock, Pilgrims! Get out! We are the future. You are old and tired. Go on. We have beaten you. Leave like beaten rats. You old white people. It is your duty to die . . Through love of having children, we are going to take over.

Richard Alatorre, Los Angeles City Council. "They're afraid we're going to take over the governmental institutions and other institutions. They're right. We will take them over . . . We are here to stay."

Excelsior, the national newspaper of Mexico, "The American Southwest seems to be slowly returning to the jurisdiction of Mexico without firing a single shot."

Professor Jose Angel Gutierrez, University of Texas; "We have an aging white America. They are not making babies. They are dying. The explosion is in our population . . . I love it. They are shitting in their pants with fear. I love it."

Art Torres, Chairman of the California Democratic Party, "Remember 187--proposition to deny taxpayer funds for services to non-citizens--was the last gasp of white America in California."

Gloria Molina, Los Angeles County Supervisor, "We are politicizing every single one of these new citizens that are becoming citizens of this country . . . I gotta tell you that a lot of people are saying, "I'm going to go out there and vote because I want to pay them back."

Mario Obledo, California Coalition of Hispanic Organizations and California State Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare under Governor Jerry Brown, also awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Bill Clinton, "California is going to be a Hispanic state. Anyone who doesn't like it should leave."

Jose Pescador Osuna, Mexican Consul General, "We are practicing 'La Reconquista' in California."

Professor Fernando Guerra, Loyola Marymount University; "We need to avoid a white backlash by using codes understood by Latinos . . . "

Are these just the words of a few extremists? Consider that we could fill up many pages with such quotes. Also, consider that these are mainstream Mexican leaders.

THE U.S. VS MEXICO:
On February 15, 1998, the U.S. and Mexican soccer teams met at the Los Angeles Coliseum. The crowd was overwhelmingly pro-Mexican even though most lived in this country. They booed during the National Anthem and U.S. flags were held upside down. As the match progressed, supporters of the U.S. team were insulted, pelted with projectiles, punched and spat upon. Beer and trash were thrown at the U.S. players before and after the match. The coach of the U.S. team, Steve Sampson said, "This was the most painful experience I have ever had in this profession."

Did you know that immigrants from Mexico and other non-European countries can come to this country and get preferences in jobs, education, and government contracts? It's called affirmative action or racial privilege. The Emperor of Japan or the President of Mexico could migrate here and immediately be eligible for special rights unavailable for Americans of European descent. Recently, a vote was taken in the U.S. Congress to end this practice. It was defeated. Every single Democratic senator except Ernest Hollings voted to maintain special privileges for Hispanic, Asian and African immigrants. They were joined by thirteen Republicans. Bill Clinton and Al Gore have repeatedly stated that they believe that massive immigration from countries like Mexico is good. They have also backed special privileges for these immigrants.

Corporate America has signed on to the idea that minorities and third world immigrants should get special, privileged status. Some examples are Exxon, Texaco, Merrill Lynch, Boeing, Paine Weber, Starbucks and many more.

DID YOU KNOW?:
Did you know that Mexico regularly intercedes on the side of the defense in criminal cases involving Mexican nationals? Did you know that Mexico hasNEVER extradited a Mexican national accused of murder in the U.S. in spite of agreements to do so? According to the L.A. Times, Orange County, California is home to 275 gangs with 17,000 members; 98% of which are Mexican and Asian. How's your county doing?

According to a New York Times article dated May 19, 1994, 20 years after the great influx of legal immigrants from Southeast Asia, 30% are still on welfare compared to 8% of households nationwide. A Wall Street Journal editorial dated December 5, 1994 quotes law enforcement officials as stating that Asian mobsters are the "greatest criminal challenge the country faces." Not bad for a group that is still under 5% of the population.

Is education important to you? Here are the words of a teacher who spent over 20 years in the Los Angeles School system. "Imagine teachers in classes containing 30-40 students of widely varying attention spans and motivation, many of whom aren't fluent in English. Educators seek learning materials likely to reach the majority of students and that means fewer words and math problems and more pictures and multicultural references."

WHEN I WAS YOUNG:
When I was young, I remember hearing about the immigrants that came through Ellis Island. They wanted to learn English. They wanted to breath free. They wanted to become Americans. Now too many immigrants come here with demands. They demand to be taught in their own language. They demand special privileges--affirmative action. They demand ethnic studies that glorify their culture.

You Cut - Week of 20 May 2010

Here's are the second week of You Cut swill to vote on. Go to: http://republicanwhip.house.gov/YouCut/

Once you vote, you will be the e-mail list and each Thursday you will receive a notification of new cuts needing your Vote. So Vote!

As much as I dislike Robert Byrd, and as much as I'd like to see everyone sharing the pain of cuts, including government workers not getting pay raises, I voted for the cut of fundiung for the Government to buy land. The U.S. Government is much too big as it is. They don't need to ruin families by buying land, much if it land used by ranchers to graze their cattle under a BLM contract for which they pay a fee.

($420 Million Over Ten Years)

Eliminate the Proposed Federal Employee Pay Raise

California - Going the Way of Greece?

Sent to me on e-mail. An analogy on why California is broke and will soon be going the way of Greece.

"Life is tough. It is even tougher if you are stupid" - John Wayne

Governor of California is jogging with his dog along a nature trail. A coyote jumps out and attacks dog.

Governor starts to intervene, reflects upon the movie "Bambi" and then realizes he should stop; the coyote is only doing what is natural.

He calls animal control. Animal control captures coyote and spends $200 testing it for diseases and $500 upon relocating it.

He calls veterinarian. Vet collects dead dog and spends $200 testing it for diseases.

Governor goes to hospital and spends $3,500 getting checked for diseases from the coyote and on getting bite wound bandaged.

Running trail gets shut down for 6 months while wildlife services conduct a $100,000 survey to make sure the area is clear of dangerous animals.

Governor spends $50,000 of state funds implementing a "coyote awareness" program for residents of the area.

State legislature spends $2 million investigating how to better handle rabies and how to possibly eradicate the disease. SEIU and ACORN win the bid to conduct the study.

Governor's security agent is fired for not stopping the attack and for letting the Governor intervene. Cost: $75,000 to train new security agent.

PETA protests the coyote relocation and files suit against the state.

If the same thing happened in Texas:

Governor shoots coyote and keeps jogging. Governor has spent $0.50 on a .45 ACP hollow point cartridge. Buzzards eat dead coyote.

Any wonder why California is broke????

Illegal Immigration in Arizona - the Untold Story

With the left spinning the new Arizona Illegal Immigration Law as a racist, profiling, anti-Constitution measure that will only target Hispanics, and their real agenda being Immigration Reform in the form of another Amnesty -cause after all, the Leftists proclaim, the immigrant criminals are very few and the vast majority of undocumented immigrants (see how they change terms to give a perception?) are just here to make their life better and to do jobs Americans won't. Well that's just Bull Crap across the board.

Here are a couple of pictures the main stream media won't show you are vast tracks of land, much of it privately owned, that are trashed because of illegal immigrants. Not only do they tear down fences and leave gates open, they leave trash, not just clothing, water bottles, food wrappers, just also large amounts of human waste to pollute their path. This is not just one area,...this is across the border in Arizona.

Cowboy Logic - Some Lessons are Simple

An old cowboy shuffled into the town of El Indio , Texas riding an old tired horse and leading a pack mule. The old man headed straight for the only saloon in town, to clear his parched throat. He walked up to the saloon and tied his old horse to the hitch rail. As he stood there, brushing some of the dust from his face and clothes, a young gunslinger stepped out of the saloon with a gun in one hand and a bottle of whiskey in the other.

The young gunslinger looked at the old man and laughed, saying, "Hey old man, have you ever danced?" The old man looked up at the gunslinger and said, "No, I never did dance... never really wanted to...may have been too just busy trying to get by."

A crowd had gathered as the gunslinger grinned and said, "Well, you old fool, you're gonna' dance now," and started shooting at the old man's feet. The old cowboy, not wanting to get a toe blown off nor riun his only pair of boots, started hopping around like a flea on a hot skillet. Everybody was laughing, fit to be tied.

When his last bullet had been fired, the young gunslinger, still laughing, holstered his gun and turned around to go back into the saloon. The old man turned to his pack mule, pulled out a double-barreled shotgun, and cocked both hammers. The loud clicks carried clearly through the desert air.

The crowd stopped laughing immediately. The young gunslinger heard the sounds too, and he turned around very slowly. The silence was almost deafening. The crowd watched as the young gunman stared at the old timer and the large gaping holes of those twin barrels.

The barrels of the shotgun never wavered in the old man's hands, as he quietly said, "Son, have you ever kissed a mule's ass?"

The gunslinger swallowed hard and said, "No sir..... but...I've always wanted to."

There are a few lessons for us all here:

Never be arrogant.
Don't waste ammunition.
Whiskey makes you think you're smarter than you are.
Always, always make sure you know who has the power.
Don't mess with old men, they didn't get old by being stupid .

Congressman Eric Cantor (R-VA) Introduces "You Cut"

House Minority Whip, Republican Congressman Eric Cantor introduces "YouCut" – a first-of-its-kind project - is designed to defeat the permissive culture of runaway spending in Congress. It allows you to vote, both online and on your cell phone, on spending cuts that you want to see the House enact. Vote on this page today for your priorities and together we can begin to change Washington's culture of spending into a culture of savings. Go to: http://republicanwhip.house.gov/YouCut/
to see the video from Congressman Cantor, who along with Mike Roger (R-MI) are giving me more hope than a warm camp fire that thee Conservatives have some leaders. Please go to this site each week and vote - lets force the Democrats to go on record for bigger spending and pork barrel politics.

Each week there will five candidates to vote to cut. This week's candidates are the five programs below. I voted to cut the Taxpayer Subsidized Union Activities even though money wise it is not the biggest waste of money - it's just I hate Unions, especially the brown shirts in blue, SEIU, which is a front for Obama and his radical agenda.

Presidential Election Fund
$260 million in savings
This federal program provides matching funds to political candidates during Presidential primaries, certain third-party candidates, and funds for political conventions. In the 2008 presidential election, the candidates raised over $1.3 billion from individuals and PACs, do they really need to supplement that with taxpayer money? This proposal has been estimated to save $260 million over five years. (Also proposed as part of the RSC Sunset Caucus.)

Taxpayer Subsidized Union Activities
$600 million in savings
Currently, some federal employees spend up to 100% of their workweek, paid by taxpayers, doing work for their union. Federal employees unions collect millions in revenue each year and spend significant amounts on political activities and lobbying, should they also be subsidized by the taxpayer for their official functions? In 2008 the Federal government spent $120 million paying employees for their time spent working on union activities (over five years this would total a minimum of $600 million.) (Also proposed as part of the RSC Sunset Caucus.)

HUD Program for Doctoral Dissertations
$1 million in savings
Recently, taxpayers have financed research on media strategies for housing policy and the use of eminent domain for urban redevelopment. Why should families who are struggling to pay for their children’s college also being asked to fund stipends from the government for those who want to write their dissertation on certain government-preferred policies? At approximately $200,000 in grants per year, terminating this program would save $1 million over five years.

New Non-Reformed Welfare Program
$2.5 billion in savings
The program was recently created to incentivize states to increase their welfare caseloads without requiring able-bodied adults to work, get job training, or otherwise prepare to move off of taxpayer assistance. Reforming the welfare program was one of the great achievements of the mid 1990s, saving taxpayers billions of dollars and ending the cycle of dependency on welfare. This new program, created in 2009 is a backdoor way to undo those reforms. The program currently costs approximately $2.5 billion a year. (Also proposed as part of the RSC Sunset Caucus.)

Eliminate Wealthier Communities from CDBG
$2.6 billion in savings
This cut will focus federal economic development assistance to needy communities. The Community Development Block Grant program currently funds a wide range of local economic development activities, while it is advertised as a way to help low-income communities, funds are also dispersed to communities with income well-above the national average. A recent study found that the community of Newton, Massachusetts with a per capita income over twice the national average was receiving $28 per person in CDBG funds. At the same time, other communities with income 25% below the national average were receiving $10 per person. Restricting this program to only communities with income at or below 110% of national average income would save $2.6 billion over five years.

Video from Congressinal Health Care Debate

Kinda like closing the barn door after the horses are out, but worth viewing. Three cheers for Congressman Mike Rogers of the 8th District of Michigan.

A short bio (from his web site) on this up and coming leader who we desperately need on the National scene: An 1985 graduate of Adrian College in Michigan, Mike earned his reputation as a leader, problem solver and "people person" during service as a U.S. Army officer/company commander (1985-88), FBI Special Agent investigating public corruption as a member of the Chicago Bureau’s organized crime unit (1988-94), and in the Michigan Senate (1995-2000) where he served as Senate Majority Floor Leader (1999-2000). Report from Cochise County, Arizona

By T.J. Woodard

Being an avid AT reader, and living on the Arizona border in Cochise County, I thought I would provide those who wish to be informed some insight into the truth about the state of the U.S.-Mexican border -- at least in this part of the state.

I moved to Cochise County after retiring from the Army in 2008 to take a position working at Fort Huachuca (pronounced "wa-choo-ka," an Apache word meaning "place of thunder" and referring to the time after the summer monsoon season). Having lived here in 1991 for eight months while attending an Army school, I soon realized that the place had changed considerably in the eighteen years of my absence

The first thing I noticed was how many border patrol vehicles were on the roads in the city of Sierra Vista (SV). The Border Patrol has a large station near here in the city of Naco. There are far more Border Patrol vehicles in the area than SV police cars. They come in many forms -- trucks for off-road work, trailers carrying all-terrain vehicles, pickups with capacity for carrying large numbers of people once apprehended, and even a staff car for the area chaplain. The Border Patrol presence has grown substantially, so one would think the border area was nice and safe.

Not so. Within a short time after arriving in southern Arizona while on my way to work, I noticed eight illegal immigrants on the side of the road. Fortunately, they were in the custody of capable and attentive Border Patrol agents. Unfortunately, they were less than a hundred feet from my daughter's bus stop. She gets personal service to school now, as the school district refuses to enter the gated community in which we live. There is a nice wash, a valley into which the rainwater drains during the monsoons, which provides a nice route for the illegals to follow into the city, and therefore into their locations for pickup by the vehicles that will get them farther north.

Later, after I attended a movie on a Friday night, a car passed by me in the next lane going nearly a hundred miles an hour. It took a few seconds before I saw the police behind -- way behind -- with lights and sirens, trying to catch up.

Surprise, surprise -- the next morning's paper discussed a Mexican drug runner being caught by County Sheriff's Deputies. On several occasions, the Border Patrol's helicopter has flown low and slow over the neighborhood, rattling windows and shining its spotlight in our backyard. When this happens, I strap on my pistol, grab a flashlight, and look and listen. Fortunately, I haven't found anybody within a hundred yards of the house -- yet.

Working on a U.S. Army fort, one would think we were fairly secure from these threats. Just not true. Reading the Fort Huachuca newspaper one morning, I noticed an interesting part of the "community" page. It asked for volunteers to assist in cleaning up "dumps" on posts where the illegals would drop their supplies used to cross the border and change clothing. They do this in order to blend in and not look like they just spent a day or two crossing the border in the dust and heat of southern Arizona. The most frightening part of this is that Fort Huachuca is the U.S. Army Intelligence Center, where the Army trains its intelligence soldiers -- analysts, interrogators, radio intercept specialists, and counterintelligence agents -- for operations overseas. If we can't secure the fort we use to train our intelligence soldiers, how can we secure anything else?

Much has been discussed about the new law in Arizona making it unlawful to be in Arizona in violation of federal immigration statutes. However, much less has been discussed about the shooting of rancher Robert Krentz. Robert was killed on his ranch on March 28, 2010. His ranch, on which the family began grazing cattle in 1907 (Arizona became a state in 1912), is a large, 35,000-acre area in remote Cochise County. It is so remote that the original Cochise, an Apache leader, used the mountainous terrain near it to hide from the U.S. Cavalry in the early 1870s. But much less is being said about the eight illegal immigrants and their load of 280 pounds of marijuana seized the day before Krentz was killed.

So Arizona should be boycotted because its people would like to keep it safe? Somebody please explain the logic of that for me. It doesn't take a bullet from a drug runner's gun to make those of us down here near the border understand that this is drug-related violence -- and Rob's death proves it.

It also doesn't take much more reading to see that the drug dealers are a huge problem with far-reaching capabilities. On April 27, 2010, a large drug bust took place here in Cochise County. Among those arrested was Angelica Marie Borquez, the secretary for the Drug Enforcement Division of the Cochise County Attorney office. Allegedly, Ms. Borquez was tipping off the drug runners to counter drug operations conducted by the county. She was so bold that she used the phone in the County Attorney's office to make some of her calls.

This isn't a blatant effort by drug cartels to obtain control here in America?

Many have already called Arizona residents racists. They are concerned that police will profile Hispanics and disproportionally harass them. But we understand something others in Washington, D.C. and San Francisco don't seem to remember -- we border Mexico. The fact is that most illegal immigrants coming across the border here are, well, Mexicans. Those of us down here facing the danger every day really don't care what some Hollywood actor has to say about the issue. Nor do we care about what the Colombian government or the Latino music community thinks of it. We just want to stay safe.

This is not about race; it's about facts. Use a few of these facts the next time somebody wants to engage you in discussion about the border. Tell him you learned these things from somebody who can see Mexico from his front porch.

T.J. Woodard is a retired Army officer who lives less than ten miles from the Mexican border. He carries a pistol even in his own house in order to be prepared to defend his family whenever necessary.

Will the USA survive until 2012? - Ron Paul on Succession

I guess Ron Paul's basic point is that the right of states to succeed and the threat to do so, would have been a good tool to keep the Federal Government honest not to mention small.

Tea Party Win over Republican Incumbent Senator Robert Bennett (R-UT)

From the NewYorkDailyNews.com and other sources. Utah incumbent Sen. Robert Bennett lost his bid for a fourth term Saturday when delegates voted him out of the Republican primary.

Bennett finished third in the second-round of voting in Salt Lake City Saturday, scoring just 26% of the vote.

The Tea Party movement took credit for defeating the popular three-term Republican. Their candidates, lawyer Mike Lee and businessman Tim Bridgewater, will advance to the June primary.

Bennett, 76, is the first incumbent to lose his party's support this year. He spent 18 years in the Senate. Bennett was under attack for supporting the bailout of financial firms and co-sponsoring a health care bill with a Democrat.

In a press conference, Bennett said in part "Looking back on them (votes) with one or two very minor exceptions, I wouldn't have cast them differently, even if I'd know at the time it would have cost me my career".

Bob you still don't get it, do you? You're not supposed to have a career. It is supposed to be a job representing the people. That's why you are on your way out. You failed to represent the people! My God! you're on Television crying about losing?? I'll tell you who has lost,...the American People have lost with these tax and spend, then spend some more policies, AND, if that wasn't enough, you and Democrats violate the People's Constitutional Rights through mandated Health Care policies and punishments if they don't comply. Bob, you helped get us into this mess, then refused to Cowboy Up and be part of the solution - so that's why you are on your way out. Good Riddance.

Ann Coulter Speaks Some Common Sense

Ann Coulter, one of our favorite conservative commentators and authors, wrote the following piece making a case that Obama's National Security Policy is hope the Terrorists Bombs Don't Work.

It took Faisal Shahzad trying to set a car bomb in Times Square to get President Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder and Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano to finally use the word "terrorism." (And not referring to Tea Party activists!)

This is a major policy shift for a president who spent a month telling Americans not to "jump to conclusions" after Army doctor Nidal Malik Hasan reportedly jumped on a desk, shouted "Allahu Akbar!" and began shooting up Fort Hood.

After last weekend, now Obama is even threatening to pronounce it "Pack-i-stan" instead of "Pock-i-stahn." We know Obama is taking terrorism seriously because he took a break from his "Hope, Change & Chuckles" tour on the comedy circuit to denounce terrorists.

In a bit of macho posturing this week, Obama declared that -- contrary to the terrorists' wishes -- Americans "will not be terrorized, we will not cower in fear, we will not be intimidated."

First of all, having the Transportation Security Administration wanding infants, taking applesauce away from 93-year-old dementia patients, and forcing all Americans to produce their shoes, computers and containers with up to 3 ounces of liquid in Ziploc bags for special screening pretty much blows that "not intimidated" look Obama wants America to adopt.

"Intimidated"? How about "absolutely terrified"?

Second, it would be a little easier for the rest of us not to live in fear if the president's entire national security strategy didn't depend on average citizens happening to notice a smoldering SUV in Times Square or smoke coming from a fellow airline passenger's crotch.

But after the car bomber, the diaper bomber and the Fort Hood shooter, it has become increasingly clear that Obama's only national defense strategy is: Let's hope their bombs don't work!

If only Dr. Hasan's gun had jammed at Fort Hood, that could have been another huge foreign policy success for Obama.

The administration's fingers-crossed strategy is a follow-up to Obama's earlier and less successful "Let's Make Them Love Us!" plan.

In the past year, Obama has repeatedly apologized to Muslims for America's "mistakes."

He has apologized to Iran for President Eisenhower's taking out loon Mohammad Mossadegh, before Mossadegh turned a comparatively civilized country into a Third World hellhole. You know, like the Ayatollah has.

He has apologized to the entire Muslim world for the French and English colonizing them -- i.e. building them flush toilets.

He promised to shut down Guantanamo. And he ordered the mastermind of 9/11, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, to be tried in the same courthouse that tried Martha Stewart.

There was also Obama's 90-degree-bow tour of the East and Middle East. For his next visit, he plans to roll on his back and have his belly scratched like Fido.

Despite favorable reviews in The New York Times, none of this put an end to Islamic terrorism.

So now, I gather, our only strategy is to hope the terrorists' bombs keep fizzling.

There's no other line of defense. In the case of the Times Square car bomber, the Department of Homeland Security failed, the Immigration and Naturalization Service failed, the CIA failed and the TSA failed. (However, the Department of Alert T-Shirt Vendors came through with flying colors, as it always does.)

Only the New York Police Department, a New York street vendor and Shahzad's Rube Goldberg bomb (I do hope he's not offended by how Jewish that sounds -- Obama can apologize) prevented a major explosion in Times Square.

Even after the NYPD de-wired the smoking car bomb, produced enough information to identify the bomb-maker, and handed it all to federal law enforcement authorities tied up in a bow, the federal government's crack "no-fly" list failed to stop Shahzad from boarding a plane to Dubai.

To be fair, at Emirates Airlines, being on a "no-fly" list makes you eligible for pre-boarding.

Perhaps the Department of Homeland Security should consider creating a "Really, REALLY No-Fly" list.

Contrary to the wild excuses being made for the federal government on all the TV networks Monday night, it's now clear that this was not a wily plan of federal investigators to allow Shahzad to board the plane in order to nab his co-conspirators. It was a flub that nearly allowed Shahzad to escape.

Meanwhile, on that same Monday at JFK airport, approximately 100,000 passengers took off their shoes, coats, belts and sunglasses for airport security.

But the "highly trained federal force" The New York Times promised us on Oct. 28, 2001, when the paper demanded that airport security be federalized, failed to stop the only guy they needed to stop at JFK last Monday -- the one who planted a bomb in the middle of Times Square days earlier.

So why were 100,000 other passengers harassed and annoyed by the TSA?

The federal government didn't stop the diaper bomber from nearly detonating a bomb over Detroit. It didn't stop a guy on the "No Fly" list from boarding a plane and coming minutes away from getting out of the country.

If our only defense to terrorism is counting on alert civilians, how about not bothering them before they board airplanes, instead of harassing them with useless airport "security" procedures?

Both of the attempted bombers who sailed through airport security, I note, were young males of the Islamic faith. I wonder if we could develop a security plan based on that information?

And speaking of a "highly trained federal force," who's working at the INS these days? Who on earth made the decision to allow Shahzad the unparalleled privilege of becoming a U.S. citizen last year?

Our "Europeans Need Not Apply" immigration policies were absurd enough before 9/11. But after 19 foreign-born Muslims, legally admitted to the U.S., murdered 3,000 Americans in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania in a single day, couldn't we tighten up our admission policies toward people from countries still performing stonings and clitorectomies?

The NYPD can't be everyplace.

Hats Off to Charlie Daniels

I don't know how everybody else feels about it, but to me I think Hispanic people in this country, legally or illegally, made a huge public relations mistake with their recent demonstrations.

I don't blame anybody in the world for wanting to come to the United States of America, as it is a truly wonderful place.

But when the first thing you do when you set foot on American soil is illegal it is flat out wrong and I don't care how many lala land left heads come out of the woodwork and start trying to give me sensitivity lessons.

I don't need sensitivity lessons, in fact I don't have any-thing against Mexicans! I just have something against criminals and anybody who comes into this country illegally is a criminal and if you don't believe it try coming into America from a foreign country without a passport and see how far you get. What disturbs me about the demonstrations is that it's tanta-mount to saying, "I am going to come into your country even if it means breaking your laws and there's nothing you can do about it."

It's an "in your face" action and speaking just for me, I don't like it one little bit and if there were a half dozen pairs of gonads in Washington bigger than English peas it wouldn't be happening.

Where are you, you bunch of lily livered, pantywaist, forked tongued, sorry excuses for defenders of The Constitution? Have you been drinking the water out of the Potomac again?

And even if you pass a bill on immigration it will probably be so pork laden and watered down that it won't mean anything anyway Besides, what good is another law going to do when you won't enforce the ones on the books now?

And what ever happened to the polls, guys? I thought you folks were the quintessential finger wetters. Well you sure ain't paying any attention to the polls this time because somewhere around eighty percent of Americans want some thing done about this mess, and mess it is and getting bigger everyday.

This is no longer a problem, it is a dilemma and headed for being a tragedy. Do you honestly think that what happened in France with the Muslims can't happen here when the businesses who hire these people finally run out of jobs and a few million disillusioned Hispanics take to the streets?

If you, Mr. President, Congressmen and Senators, knuckle under on this and refuse to do something meaningful it means that you care nothing for the kind of country your children and grand-children will inherit. But I guess that doesn't matter as long as you get re-elected.

Shame on you.

One of the big problems in America today is that if you have the nerve to say anything derogatory about any group of people (except Christians ) you are going to be screamed at by the media and called a racist, a bigot and anything else they can think of to call you

Well I've been pounded by the media before and I'm still rockin' and rollin' and when it comes to speaking the truth I fear not. And the truth is that the gutless, gonadless, milksop politicians are just about to sell out the United States of America because they don't have the intestinal fortitude to stand up to face reality.

And reality is that we would never allow any other group of people to have 12 million illegal in this country and turn around and say, "Oh it's ok, ya'll can stay here if you'll just allow us to slap your wrist."

And I know that some of you who read this column are saying "Well what's wrong with that?" I'll tell you what's wrong with it. These people could be from Mars as far as we know. We don't know who they are, where they are or what they're up to and the way the Congress is going we're not going to.

Does this make sense? Labor force you say? We already subsidize corporate agriculture as it is, must we subsidize their labor as well? If these people were from Haiti would we be so fast to turn a blind eye to them or if they were from Somalia or Afghanistan?

I think not.

All the media shows us are pictures of hard working Hispanics who have crossed the border just to try to better their life. They don't show you pictures of the Feds rounding up members of MS 13, the violent gang who came across the same way the decent folks did. They don't tell you about the living conditions of the Mexican illegal some fat cat hired to pick his crop.

I want to make two predictions.

No. 1: This situation is going to grow and fester until it erupts in violence on our streets while the wimps in Washington drag their toes in the dirt and try to figure how many tons of political hay they can make to the acre.

No 2: Somebody is going to cross that border with some kind of weapon of mass destruction and set it off in a major American city after which there will be a backlash such as this country has never experienced and the Capitol building in Washington will probably tilt as Congressmen and Senators rush to the other side of the issue.

I don't know about you but I would love to see just one major politician stand up and say, "I don't care who I make mad and I don't care how many votes I lose, this is a desperate situation and I'm going to lead the fight to get it straightened out."

I don't blame anybody for wanting to come to America , but if you don't respect our immigration laws why should you respect any others?

And by the way, this is America and our flag has stars and stripes Please get that other one out of my face.

God Bless America

Charlie Daniels

Message From Arizona State Senator Sylvia Allen

I'm Arizona State Senator Sylvia Allen. I want to explain SB 1070 which I voted for and was just signed by Governor Jan Brewer.

Rancher Rob Krantz was murdered by the drug cartel on his ranch a month ago. I participated in a senate hearing two weeks ago on the border violence, here is just some of the highlights from those who testified.

The people who live within 60 to 80 miles of the Arizona/Mexico Border have for years been terrorized and have pleaded for help to stop the daily invasion of humans who cross their property . One Rancher testified that 300 to 1200 people a DAY come across his ranch vandalizing his property, stealing his vehicles and property, cutting down his fences, and leaving trash. In the last two years he has found 17 dead bodies and two Koran bibles.

Another rancher testified that daily drugs are brought across his ranch in a military operation. A point man with a machine gun goes in front, 1/2 mile behind are the guards fully armed, 1/2 mile behind them are the drugs, behind the drugs 1/2 mile are more guards. These people are violent and they will kill anyone who gets in the way. This was not the only rancher we heard that day that talked about the drug trains.

One man told of two illegal's who came upon his property one shot in the back and the other in the arm by the drug runners who had forced them to carry the drugs and then shot them. Daily they listen to gun fire during the night it is not safe to leave his family alone on the ranch and they can't leave the ranch for fear of nothing being left when they come back.

The border patrol is not on the border. They have set up 60 miles away with check points that do nothing to stop the invasion. They are not allowed to use force in stopping anyone who is entering. They run around chasing them, if they get their hands on them then they can take them back across the border.

Federal prisons have over 35% illegal's and 20% of Arizona prisons are filled with illegal's. In the last few years 80% of our law enforcement that have been killed or wounded have been by an illegal.

The majority of people coming now are people we need to be worried about. The ranchers told us that they have seen a change in the people coming they are not just those who are looking for work and a better life.

The Federal Government has refused for years to do anything to help the border states . We have been over run and once they are here we have the burden of funding state services that they use. Education cost have been over a billion dollars. The healthcare cost billions of dollars. Our State is broke, $3.5 billion deficit and we have many serious decisions to make. One is that we do not have the money to care for any who are not here legally. It has to stop.

The border can be secured. We have the technology we have the ability to stop this invasion. We must know who is coming and they must come in an organized manner legally so that we can assimilate them into our population and protect the sovereignty of our country. We are a nation of laws. We have a responsibility to protect our citizens and to protect the integrity of our country and the government which we live under.

I would give amnesty today to many, but here is the problem, we dare not do this until the Border is secure. It will do no good to forgive them because thousands will come behind them and we will be over run to the point that there will no longer be the United States of America but a North American Union of open borders. I ask you what form of government will we live under? How long will it be before we will be just like Mexico , Canada or any of the other Central American or South American countries? We have already lost our language, everything must be printed in Spanish also. We have already lost our history it is no longer taught in our schools. And we have lost our borders.

The leftist media has distorted what SB 1070 will do. It is not going to set up a Nazi Germany . Are you kidding. The ACLU and the leftist courts will do everything to protect those who are here illegally, but it was an effort to try and stop illegal's from setting up businesses, and employment, and receiving state services and give the ability to local law enforcement when there is probable cause like a traffic stop to determine if they are here legally. Federal law is very clear if you are here on a visa you must have your papers on you at all times. That is the law. In Arizona all you need to show you are a legal citizen is a driver license, MVD identification card, Native American Card, or a Military ID. This is what you need to vote, get a hunting license, etc.. So nothing new has been added to this law. No one is going to be stopped walking down the street etc... The Socialist who are in power in DC are angry because we dare try and do something and that something the Socialist wants us to do is just let them come. They want the "Transformation" to continue.

Maybe it is too late to save America . Maybe we are not worthy of freedom anymore. But as an elected official I must try to do what I can to protect our Constitutional Republic . Living in America is not a right just because you can walk across the border. Being an American is a responsibility and it comes by respecting and upholding the Constitution the law of our land which says what you must do to be a citizen of this country. Freedom is not free.

Ray Stevens - Speaking for the People

Arizona Boycott? May be just what Arizona needs

The news article from news.com, dated August 2009, was sent to me earlier this week. I debated posting the article since some people may throw down the race card as many wrong thinking protesters have been protesting the Arizona law as racially oriented towards Mexicans who make up the vast majority of illegal aliens in this country and majority of minorities living along the Southwest Border.

I decided to post it, since I am not a racist. I think Mexican's and other Hispanic immigrants from Central and South America have contributed significantly to this country.  Aspects of their culture have greatly enriched the Heinz 57 breed of all us Americans. There  But they did so willingly assimilating to the melting pot of American culture not trying to get special privileges or entitlements, nor bashing the hands that provides an environment where pursuit of happiness is a God given right. Some of the biggest detractors of illegal immigrants, or those liberals spouting privileges under the banner of "rights", are Mexican-Americans who came here legally and worked hard to establish a good life for themselves and their children.

SO the experiences of small businesses in Victoria Texas, maybe just what small businesses in Arizona may benefit from in protest of the Arizona Illegal Immigration Law.

The Lost Generation

Received this video and although it is sponsored by AARP, who has turned into a leftist political action committee, you need to watch it. The video may give you a little hope in the generations following us may make a difference.

The video was done as a palindrome which reads the same backwards as forward. This video reads the exact opposite backwards as forward. Not only does it read the opposite, the meaning is the exact opposite.

Theodore Roosevelt's ideas on Immigrants and being an AMERICAN in 1907

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American... ...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag,....the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language. And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

High Court Allows Cross on Mojave Federal Land

In a recent 5 to 4 decision the Supreme Court reversed a lower court in California that had ordered the removal of a 8 foot tall Cross that had stood in the Mojave National Preserve since 1934 as a memorial to the soldiers of World War I.

Five Justices to four Justices,.....can you believe it? If one voted the other way you would probably soon see cases to remove cross in National Military Cemetarys.

When is this crap going to stop? Correct thinking Americans understand that the First Amendment, which reads:  "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances",  means that the Federal Government cannot make a National Religion. Correct thinking Americans also know that this country was founded on Christian-Judeo beliefs and concepts, and despite Obama trying hard to change it, we are still a Christian Nation.

By the Way, the Supreme Court reversed the lower court's ruling, sending the case back to California (oh great) so the lower court can re-look it's decision "in light of a policy of accomodation".

Are you feling like me that the only Americans not be "accomodated" are conservative, tax paying Christians wanting a small Federal government?

More - Have They No Shame

Oh, another thing that is just ticking me off. Chicago Whitesox Baseball Manager Ozzie Guillen is calling for Major League Baseball to move the All-Star game from Arizona. He say's, in part, "I have to protect my own." My question is "Okay Ozzie, are illegal aliens your own? How about the narcotics smuggler's,...are they your own?" The Major League Baseball Player's Union issued a statement condemning the Arizona law.

I'm calling for a boycott of Baseball. I'll never watch another game in person or on television, until they retract that position.

Baltimore shortstop Cesar Izturis say's "They're going after everybody not just the people behind the wall. Now they are going to come out on the street. What if you're walking on the street with your family" They're going after you."

This is coming from people who play Sports for millions of dollar every year! Basking in the freedoms and capitalism they won't find in in Guillen's and Izturis' original home of Venezuela.

Have They No Shame!

Boy am I ticked off! Mad as hell with all these groups protesting the recent Arizona Law that was enacted to allow local and State Law Enforcement to question a person's immigration status, if Law Enforcement has reasonable suspicion to suspect an illegal immigrant during the conduct of a legal stop.

It doesn't help that some people on Television or the idiots doing the protesting don't know a thing about the law and in particular "Reasonable Suspicion". Reasonable Suspicion is the articulable belief that a Law Enforcement Officer believes a crime has been committed or is in the process of being committed. Arizona's new law does not permit racial profiling to be used in the basis for reasonable suspicion. Only the questioning of immigration or citizenship status if you are stop from another law enforcement action such as an investigative stop for another crime, a legal detention or an arrest.

If you get pulled over by a Cop because you had a break light out, you got stopped because the Officer had Probable Cause you had broken a statute (he saw the brake light inoperable and that is against a State's Motor Vehicle code).

If a Cop pulls over a pickup truck 2 miles NORTH of the border, heading NORTH, at 2 am, on a known smuggling route, and the truck's rear end is barely off the tires looking like the bed is over loaded, then this is called Reasonable Suspicion that a crime (alien or narcotics smuggling) is being committed.

However the Liberals and other Idiots want to ignore the law and the facts and throw the race card down over and over again.

Did you know that yesterday an Arizona Sheriffs Deputy was shot by an Illegal Alien Marijuana Smuggler with an AK-47? This incident follows the murder of Douglas, Arizona rancher Bob Krentz by another illegal alien. You can see why the people of Arizona had to act. They just want the law followed. To everyone who wants open borders, I suggest you remove all the locks on the doors and windows of your house.

How are these protestors want around and call for a boycott of Arizona! Here's a gem of a quote by Lee Siu Hin, a coordinator with the National Immigrant Soldarity Network: "What happened in Arizona proves that racism and anti-immigrant hysteria across the country still exists". WHAT PART OF THE WORD ILLEGAL DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND, YOU NIMROD!

Now the liberal, socialist bent Democrats in Congress are going to solve the problem with a incredibly radical new Immigration bill that even CNN, yes CNN! thinks is stupid. COntact your legislators and tell them you won't stand for it. They probably won't care, cause most of them are getting removed this November or in 2012.
Do not watch the following video is you have a heart condition.
