Just Some Thoughts

If you have been following the political talk shows and talk radio, you have undoubtedly heard a Liberal spouting off about the Conservatives having no new ideas. It’s true – the Conservative ideas of small federal government, governmental powered limited to what is enumerated by the Constitution, fair taxation and taxation with representation, enforced ethics in government, getting government out of the way so people and businesses can flourish – are all ideas of our Founders and put in place over 220 years ago only to see these ideas slowly eroded by the Liberals in power starting with Woodrow Wilson, expanding through FDR and now attempting to get momentum and a further erosion of Constitutional rights under Barack Obama.

Just who is Charlie Rangel (D-NY) accusing when he says “it is pretty odd that the only Congressional Reps being target for ethics investigations are both Black Americans”. The other unethical mutt if you haven’t been keeping track is Maxine Waters (D-CA) who used her influence to drive funding to a bank where her husband had a financial interest. Man, are people quick to through down the racist card in attempts to drive the focus someplace else. Charlie Rangel is like a Cockroach being illuminated by a flashlight.

Ever notice Free Speech applies only to Liberals? Some idiot can have a painting of Mary Magdalena with human feces smeared on it and call it art and protected under free speech, but have some kids wear a t-shirt with an American Flag on it and they get forced to remove the t-shirt to avoid hurting the feelings of other kid’s who identify with another country. Unbelievable.

Gadsden Flag

Christopher Gadsden was an American patriot if ever there was one. He led Sons of Liberty in South Carolina starting in 1765, and was later made a colonel in the Continental Army. In 1775 he was in Philadelphia representing his home state in the Continental Congress. He was also one of three members of the Marine Committee who decided to outfit and man the Alfred and its sister ships.

Gadsden and Congress chose a Rhode Island man, Esek Hopkins, as the commander-in-chief of the Navy. The flag that Hopkins used as his personal standard on the Alfred is the one we would now recognize. It's likely that John Paul Jones, as the first lieutenant on the Alfred, ran it up the gaff.

It's generally accepted that Hopkins' flag was presented to him by Christopher Gadsden, who felt it was especially important for the commodore to have a distinctive personal standard. Gadsden also presented a copy of this flag to his state legislature in Charleston. This is recorded in the South Carolina congressional journals:

"Col. Gadsden presented to the Congress an elegant standard, such as is to be used by the commander in chief of the American navy; being a yellow field, with a lively representation of a rattle-snake in the middle, in the attitude of going to strike, and these words underneath, "Don't Tread on Me!"

The Revolutionary standard The Gadsden flag and other rattlesnake flags were widely used during the American Revolution. There was no standard American flag at the time. People were free to choose their own banners.

Cordoba Islamic Center

Did anyone find it strange that the Islamists wanting to build the Islamic Center and Mosque near the site of the 9-11 attacks want to name their facility the "Cordoba Islamic Center"?

Here is perhaps why:

The Islamist Caliphate of Córdoba ruled the Iberian Peninsula (basically Southern Spain) and North Africa, from the city of Córdoba, from 929 to 1031.

In the late 900's, the designated Caliph (think King) was a small boy, so the administration of the Caliphate was conducted by Ibn Abi Aamir who steadily recruited fellow Islamist Berbers from Africa to immigrate into Cordoba in order to build up his base of support. Ibn Abi Aamir led a cruel regime compared to the previous Caliph, Abd-ar-Rahman III. He did not shy away from using force to keep the Christians in check.

Anyway, it seems to me that the Islamists are implementing a strategy:

Recruiting people to come to this country legally and illegally;

Muslim immigration is supported by Obama, giving Federal Tax Payer dollars to fund Palestinian immigration to this country...and remember the Palestinians celebrating in the streets after America was attacked on 9-11;

Open dialogue about Sharia (Islamic) law, as the more it is being talked about and considered, the more main stream it will be in 5 to 10 years;

The radical Islamists are not stupid. They know that this Country engages in self-destructive behavior (why else was Obama elected?) and they are so arrogant that they could “announce” their intentions semi-openly without any fallout....and make no mistake about it,...their intent is the Islamification of America.

It has been said that sufficiently organized, in twenty years there will be enough Islamists in this Country to elect a President. If this doesn’t scare you, nothing will.

We need two things:

1. We need to get some common sense Patriots into government service, particularly in Congress. Take out the garbage day is only 79 days away – VOTE!

2. We need a good long period of Cowboys versus Radical Muslims.
