Wisdom from LTG Boykin

Earlier this year, a former senior Pentagon official who has battled Marxism around the globe released a video warning that Barack Obama is following in the footsteps of Fidel Castro, Joseph Stalin and others who have led communist revolutions in their nations.

Retired Lt. Gen. William G. “Jerry” Boykin, a decorated former Delta Force commander, U.S. deputy undersecretary of defense for intelligence and Purple Heart recipient, explained in the video a six-step plan used by revolutionaries to bring about Marxism elsewhere and drew parallels to Obama’s actions in the U.S. Boykin’s warning resounds eerily today in particular, as the nation is reeling from the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold a massive federal overhaul of health care and on the anniversary of Obama’s pledge to establish a “national civilian security force” – two events Boykin warned were markers of a “Marxist insurgency” in other nations.

“We hear a lot about Marxism and socialism, and there are those, particularly in the media, who would say that we should ‘tone down our rhetoric’ about socialism because ‘we’re not moving to socialism,’” Boykin states in the video. “Well, The reality is … I’ve studied Marxist insurgency. It was part of my training. And the things I know that have been done in every Marxist insurgency are being done in America today.”

Boykin laid out a step-by-step plan he says is the model of how Fidel Castro instituted Marxism in Cuba, Mao Zedong in China, Stalin in Russia and Hugo Chavez in Venzeula:

1.Nationalize major sectors of the economy

2.Redistribute wealth

3.Discredit opposition

4.Censors opposing viewpoints

5.Control gun ownership

6.Develop a constabulary force to control civilian population

Boykin then illustrates how each of these steps have begun to materialize in the U.S.: From a form of “nationalization” through government bailouts, to “hate crime” legislation aimed at silencing the pulpits, to the federal government labeling tea partiers and veterans returning from overseas as potential domestic terrorists, to efforts underway to get the U.S. on board with a United Nations small arms treaty, which would regulate private gun ownership.

Boykin takes particular aim at Obama’s Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, which he says federal administrators have already admitted is a wealth-redistribution plan (step No. 2) and he says includes within its 1,000 pages plans for national security forces at the president’s disposal, akin to national police forces socialist tyrants like Adolf Hitler used to complete their revolutions.

Specifically, Boykin alluded to a speech Obama made four years ago today, in Colorado Springs, Colo., on July 2, 2008, in which he pledged to establish a “civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded [as the U.S. military].”

“You need to understand this is happening in America, and it fits the model that has been used when societies have moved to Marxism,” Boykin claims. “It should be a matter of great concern,” he says. “Get out and do something to help stop this. Use the constitutional tools that our Founding Fathers gave us. Let you congressman know how you feel about this. Be a pain in their neck by constantly emailing and calling them. Find candidates that represent your values as a Constitution-believing American, and get out and get active in some of these movements that are trying to reverse what’s happing in America.

Worst Arguments Yet on Fast and Furious

Liberal mouthpiece Tamara Holder argued that Barack Obama and Eric Holder do not need to, nor should not release any more documents relating to Fast and Furious because to do so would un-necessarily place border agents at risk. Say What?!?  Place them at more risk than 2,000 guns imported to the Mexican Cartels did? She also said words to the effect that Conservatives are using Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry's death to attack Holder and the President. What!?? Ms. Holder, how dare you even menton Brian Terry's name. You should go back to Jesse Jackson Sr.

Attorney General Holder is now arguing that Congress holding him in contempt is all about the Republicans attacking Obama. Really? Holder dares make that bald face lie like that? No, Mr. Holder this is about one dead Border Patrol agent, 200 or more dead Mexican citizens, you hiding documents relating to who authorized the gun running and all because you and maybe the President authorized guns to be sold to Mexican Cartels in order to generate more reasons and more public opinion to inact restrictive firearms laws here in the U.S.

Holder said that he believes the 2nd Amendment does not grants an individual right to own firearms, and, Obama and Holder have both said that it is the U.S. who is arming Mexican Cartels,....well he's almost right about that........it is the U.S. government who is arming the cartels.

Military Culture

This was sent from a retired U.S. Army Special Forces Sergeant Major and shows a glimpse of personal honor and integrity lacking with many Americans (mostly Liberal) today and certainly with a large group of immigrants (illegal and legal) who are demonstrating and demanding free stuff,.....health care, social security pay, college tuition, etc.

The background is that within the Army, promotion boards for enlisted ranks up to E-6/Staff Sergeant are held locally at the unit. The soldier's record, performance evaluations, education, military schooling are tallied into points. The final evaluation is a oral board conducting in front of several senior non-commissioned officers (NCO's) who have an interest in selected the best for promotion.

This is what transpired at one local promotion board for Staff Sergeant promotions at a Battalion level:

This is an oral board where the candidate appears in his dress uniform and answers questions from a Command Sergeant Major, 3 Sergeants Major, and the First Sergeant. Sergeant Kim, born in North Korea, escaped at an early age, lived in South Korea and served in the South Korean Army was one of the candidates.

He had immigrated to the US joined the Army, and volunteered for our unit. We were told that he was ready, had studied but that his English was very rough. Sergeant Kim struggled through the questions and he was able to perform above a passing grade.

At the end, the Command Sergeant Major asked him what is in the news today that interests you. He quickly replied, today on June 25, 1950 the North Korean Army began its offensive into South Korea. He went on to say how many US Soldiers were killed in action, wounded and are still missing. He said had the US not helped the South Korean people how he and his family would not be here today. He closed with how proud he was to have the opportunity to serve in our unit now that America is in need, in order to repay what he perceived as a debt.

I think I will remember this the rest of my life.
