English Only - says Alabama Candidate for Govenor
from Liz Goodwin, a national affairs writer for Yahoo! News.
Amid a national debate over Arizona 's tough new immigration law, Republican Alabama gubernatorial candidate Tim James (and son of previous Gov. Fob James) vows in a new campaign ad that if he's elected, he'll give the state driver's license exam only in English, as a cost-saving measure.
"This is Alabama ; we speak English," he says in the ad. "If you want to live here, learn it.
It's not clear how James thinks the change would save the state money. Marc Ambinder of the Atlantic says Alabama could actually lose billions of dollars in federal funding if it enacts the measure, and he points to an Alabama political blog that runs down the legal history for why the exams are in multiple languages.
James says he's been attacked by the left for the ad, singling out MSNBC host Rachel Maddow. A writer on her blog called the ad "just plain mean" and argued it was simply pandering to the candidate's conservative base.
"I have come under attack and under assault by a very interesting group of far-left reporters," he said Monday, according to the Birmingham News. He said English exams are a public safety issue, to ensure drivers can read signs. Exams are currently given in Arabic, Chinese, English, Farsi, French, German, Greek, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Thai and Vietnamese, according to AOL News.

Irena Sendler - Forgotten Heroine
There recently was a death of a 98 year-old lady named Irena. During WWII, Irena, got permission to work in the Warsaw Ghetto, as a Plumbing/Sewer specialist. She had an 'ulterior motive' ... She KNEW what the Nazi's plans were for the Jews, (being German.) Irena smuggled infants out in the bottom of the tool box she carried and she carried in the back of her truck a burlap sack, (for larger kids..) She also had a dog in the back that she trained to bark when the Nazi soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto. The soldiers of course wanted nothing to do with the dog and the barking covered the kids/infants noises.. During her time of doing this, she managed to smuggle out and save 2500 kids/infants. She was caught, and the Nazi's broke both her legs, arms and beat her severely. Irena kept a record of the names of all the kids she smuggled out and kept them in a glass jar, buried under a tree in her back yard. After the war, she tried to locate any parents that may have survived it and reunited the family. Most had been gassed. Those kids she helped got placed into foster family homes or adopted.
Last year Irena was up for the Nobel Peace Prize ...She was not selected.
Al Gore won, for a slide show on Global Warming.
With Gore and Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prizes, the Prize now becomes meaningless

Who is Really Responsible for the Economic Crisis?
With all this talk about the Banks and Wall Street causing the current economic crisis, it was high time to expose who is really responsible along with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. And although I gave up trying to find to find a picture of Chris "cash in my pocket" Dodd, I at least found a picture of his partner in crime,..err,..crisis,...... Barney Frank, who is best know for allowing his Gay Lover to run a butt pirate brothel in his Washington D.C. condominium.

NY Mayor Bloomberg at it Again
New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg proves once more that he is no conservative and is not even close to being a Mayor of a caliber like Rudy Giuliani.
From an NRA Legislative Alert: This week, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's gun control advocacy group, Mayors Against Illegal Guns (MAIG), began running television ads urging Congress to "close the gun show loophole." Page 34 of MAIG's Blueprint for Federal Action on guns says that the group supports H.R. 2324 and S. 843 -- bills that would require NICS checks on private sales of firearms at gun shows, and which also contain provisions designed to drive gun shows out of business.
MAIG's ads claim "The Columbine school massacre ... killers got their guns because of a gap in the law, called the 'gun show loophole.'" And in a related press release, MAIG claims "All four guns used in the Columbine shootings were bought from private sellers at gun shows."
The claims are lies, of course. For starters, one of the Columbine criminals' four firearms was not acquired at a gun show. More to the point, however, the other three firearms, while bought at a gun show, were bought for the criminals by a straw purchaser -- a woman who was not prohibited from possessing or acquiring firearms, and who therefore would have passed a NICS check, if she had bought the firearms from a licensed dealer.
CATP comment: “You can’t regulate behavior such as people committing straw purchasing of firearms for those who are prohibited by law from buying or owning such as criminals or people under the legal age.”

Back on Uncle Sam's plantation
by Star Parker - Syndicated Columnist
Six years ago I wrote a book called Uncle Sam's Plantation. I wrote the book to tell my own story of what I saw living inside the welfare state and my own transformation out of it.
I said in that book that indeed there are two Americas -- a poor America on socialism and a wealthy America on capitalism.
I talked about government programs like Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Job Opportunities and Basic Skills Training (JOBS), Emergency Assistance to Needy Families with Children (EANF), Section 8 Housing, and Food Stamps.
A vast sea of perhaps well-intentioned government programs, all initially set into motion in the 1960s by Democrats, that were going to lift the nation's poor out of poverty.
A benevolent Uncle Sam welcomed mostly poor black Americans onto the government plantation. Those who accepted the invitation switched mindsets from "How do I take care of myself?" to "What do I have to do to stay on the plantation?"
Instead of solving economic problems, government welfare socialism created monstrous moral and spiritual problems -- the kind of problems that are inevitable when individuals turn responsibility for their lives over to others.
The legacy of American socialism is our blighted inner cities, dysfunctional inner city schools, and broken black families.
Through God's grace, I found my way out. It was then that I understood what freedom meant and how great this country is.
I had the privilege of working on welfare reform in 1996 which was passed by a Republican controlled Congress.
I thought we were on the road to moving socialism out of our poor black communities and replacing it with wealth-producing American capitalism.
But, incredibly, we are now going in the opposite direction.
Instead of poor America on socialism becoming more like rich America on capitalism, rich America on capitalism is becoming like poor America on socialism.
Uncle Sam has welcomed our banks onto the plantation and they have said, "Thank you, Suh."
Now, instead of thinking about what creative things need to be done to serve customers, they are thinking about what they have to tell Massah in order to get their cash.
There is some kind of irony that this is all happening under our first black president on the 200th anniversary of the birthday of Abraham Lincoln.
Worse, socialism seems to be the element of our new young president. And maybe even more troubling, our corporate executives seem happy to move onto the plantation.
In an op-Ed on the opinion page of the Washington Post, Mr. Obama is clear that the goal of his trillion dollar spending plan is much more than short term economic stimulus.
"This plan is more than a prescription for short-term spending -- it's a strategy for America 's long-term growth and opportunity in areas such as renewable energy, healthcare, and education."
Perhaps more incredibly, Obama seems to think that government taking over an economy is a new idea. Or that massive growth in government can take place "with unprecedented transparency and accountability."
Yes, sir, we heard it from Jimmy Carter when he created the Department of Energy, the Synfuels Corporation, and the Department of Education.
Or how about the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964 -- The War on Poverty -- which President Johnson said "...does not merely expand old programs or improve what is already being done. It charts a new course. It strikes at the causes, not just the consequences of poverty."
Trillions of dollars later, black poverty is the same. But black families are not, with triple the incidence of single-parent homes and out-of-wedlock births.
It's not complicated. Americans can accept Barack Obama's invitation to move onto the plantation. Or they can choose personal responsibility and freedom.
Does anyone really need to think about what the choice should be?
"The trouble with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money."

The Beginning of the First American Revolution
235 years ago - The Battles of Lexington and Concord began the First American Revolution
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The battles of Lexington and Concord were the first military engagements of the American Revolutionary War. They were fought on April 19, 1775, in Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay, within the towns of Lexington, Concord, Lincoln, Menotomy (present-day Arlington), and Cambridge, near Boston. The battles marked the outbreak of open armed conflict between the Kingdom of Great Britain and its thirteen colonies in the mainland of British North America.
About 700 British Army regulars, under Lieutenant Colonel Francis Smith, were given secret orders to capture and destroy military supplies (powder and ball for the organized Militia’s muskets), that were reportedly stored by the Massachusetts militia at Concord. Through effective intelligence gathering, Patriot colonials had received word weeks before the expedition that their supplies might be at risk, and had moved most of them to other locations. They also received details about British plans on the night before the battle, and were able to rapidly notify the area militias of the military movement.
The first shots were fired just as the sun was rising at Lexington. The militia were outnumbered and fell back, and the regulars proceeded on to Concord, where they searched for the supplies. At the North Bridge in Concord, several hundred militiamen fought and defeated three companies of the King's troops. The outnumbered regulars fell back from the Minutemen after a pitched battle in open territory.
More militiamen arrived soon thereafter and inflicted heavy damage on the regulars as they marched back towards Boston. Upon returning to Lexington, Smith's expedition was rescued by reinforcements under Lieutenant-General Hugh Percy. The combined force, now of about 1,700 men, marched back to Boston under heavy fire in a tactical withdrawal and eventually reached the safety of Charlestown. The accumulated militias blockaded the narrow land accesses to Charlestown and Boston, starting the Siege of Boston.
Thus beginning the War for American Independence - the First American Revolution. The Second beginning this fall with Congressional elections. This time the American people will use ballots not musket bullets.

WW II Vet gives it to President Obama
This venerable and much honored WW II vet is well known in Hawaii for his seventy-plus years of service to patriotic organizations and causes all over the country.
A humble man without a political bone in his body,he has never spoken out before about a government official, until now. He dictated this letter to a friend, signed it and mailed it to the president.
Dear President Obama,
My name is Harold Estes, approaching 95 on December 13 of this year. People meeting me for the first time don't believe my age because I remain wrinkle free and pretty much mentally alert.
I enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1934 and served proudly before, during and after WW II retiring as a Master Chief Bos'n Mate. Now I live in a "rest home" located on the western end of Pearl Harbor , allowing me to keep alive the memories of 23 years of service to my country. One of the benefits of my age, perhaps the only one, is to speak my mind, blunt and direct even to the head man. So here goes.
I am amazed, angry and determined not to see my country die before I do, but you seem hell bent not to grant me that wish. I can't figure out what country you are the president of. You fly around the world telling our friends and enemies despicable lies like:
“We're no longer a Christian nation"
" America is arrogant" - (Your wife even announced to the world," America is mean-spirited. Please tell her to try preaching that nonsense to 23 generations of our war dead buried all over the globe who died for no other reason than to free a whole lot of strangers from tyranny and hopelessness.
I'd say shame on the both of you, but I don't think you like America, nor do I see an ounce of gratefulness in anything you do, for the obvious gifts this country has given you. To be without shame or gratefulness is a dangerous thing for a man sitting in the White House.
After 9/11 you said," America hasn't lived up to her ideals." Which ones did you mean? Was it the notion of personal liberty that 11,000 farmers and shopkeepers died for to win independence from the British? Or maybe the ideal that no man should be a slave to another man, that 500,000 men died for in the Civil War? I hope you didn't mean the ideal 470,000 fathers, brothers, husbands, and a lot of fellas I knew personally died for in WWII, because we felt real strongly about not letting any nation push us around, because we stand for freedom.
I don't think you mean the ideal that says equality is better than discrimination. You know the one that a whole lot of white people understood when they helped to get you elected.
Take a little advice from a very old geezer, young man.
Shape up and start acting like an American. If you don't, I'll do what I can to see you get shipped out of that fancy rental on Pennsylvania Avenue . You were elected to lead not to bow, apologize and kiss the hands of murderers and corrupt leaders who still treat their people like slaves.
And just who do you think you are telling the American people not to jump to conclusions and condemn that Muslim major who killed 13 of his fellow soldiers and wounded dozens more. You mean you don't want us to do what you did when that white cop used force to subdue that black college professor in Massachusetts , who was putting up a fight? You don't mind offending the police calling them stupid but you don't want us to offend Muslim fanatics by calling them what they are, terrorists.
One more thing. I realize you never served in the military and never had to defend your country with your life, but you're the Commander-in-Chief now, son. Do your job. When your battle-hardened field General asks you for 40,000 more troops to complete the mission, give them to him. But if you're not in this fight to win, then get out. The life of one American soldier is not worth the best political strategy you're thinking of.
You could be our greatest president because you face the greatest challenge ever presented to any president. You're not going to restore American greatness by bringing back our bloated economy. That's not our greatest threat. Losing the heart and soul of who we are as Americans is our big fight now. And I sure as hell don't want to think my president is the enemy in this final battle.
Sincerely,
Harold B. Estes
Confederacy of Fools - One Man's Opinion
CATP received this via e-mail. The Author is unknown, but he makes sense.
“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to an electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president."

Who is Really to Blame for the Financial Mess?
Most of us already know who is to blame for the housing market collapse.
The Bush administration and John McCain were well aware of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac's size being a major problem as well as their loan protocols to people would could not pay them back. The Democrats, led by Barney Frank (D-MA) ignored these warnings and this is why we are in this crisis now!!
I love it when you have facts on your side - nothing like video tape to refute the Democrats blaming everyone else.

Obama - Unbridled Arrogance
President Obama was on the news again talking dismissively about the Tea Party Movement saying (words to the effect) ”That he was amused by them protesting taxes, (and he actually said) "You would think they would say Thank You”.
WHAT?!? Thank you for What??? For ramming Government Health Care down our throats? For Stimulus II? For the government take over of Car manufacturers? For your plan to end the Bush Tax Cuts? For triple the national Debt and mortgaging our grandchildren’s future? For your plan to ram Cap and Trade (what should be called Crap and Tax) through the legislative process? For apologizing to the World? For bowing to third world dictators? What exactly do you think we need to thank you for? My reply to you is something like thank you, but doesn’t include the word “thank”.

Allan Combs - Leftist Buffoon
Driving through a remote area last night, the only radio station I could get was the Allan Combs show. I know, I know what you’re going say, but I like to think I’m smart enough to know that when Allan Combs talks, the leftist spins follows.
Accordingly to Allan Combs, Tea Parties are: 1 - funded by ex-Texas Congressman Tom Delay, and, 2- comprised only of rowdy people with the sole motivation of hating the President. The good thing was that 90% of the callers to the show were calm people saying that they were independents attending Tea Party Rallies and did not see any bad behavior, only respectfulness from the crowd. Of course, Allan changed the subject, re-directed questions and cut people off – which is the hallmark of leftist tactics.
Allan spent a lot of time talking about how Victoria Jackson, late of Saturday Night Live, is the face and name of Tea Party as she was spouting racist comments and then performed her son “There’s a Communist in the White House”. Well, no doubt about it, Victoria Jackson is hardly an articulate speaker and her singing career started and ended with that song. However, Allan conveniently forgets about Whoopy Goldberg (another mediocre Television personality) calling for Rush Limbaugh to die and various Democratic Congressman calling George Bush a war Criminal. There again, the left double standard. Allan – you are a Buffoon. Where was your outrage then Allan?

Cowboy Logic for the Day
"Call a Horse a Mule Long Enough, and he'll believe it"
This pertains to telling a lie long enough, it becomes the accepted truth. What comes to light is Obama traveling around the Country, trying to sell the Health Care Bill, AFTER it has been signed into law. This is part arrogance on Obama's part telling the American people they were wrong to be against the health care bill; part damage mitigation by trying to redirect perceptions because the November 2010 elections loom so large with the Democrats voting against the will of the American people; and all LIE as Obama tells the people that this Health Care Law is good for America.

Tea Party Infiltrators
Tea Party Infiltrators - Lions and Tigers and Bears...Oh My!!! From Tea Party Patriots.
Many have asked about the news that there may be "infiltrators" at tea parties around the nation. A website (crashtheteaparty.org) was recently set up. The creator, though he tried to hide his identity, has been outed; his name is Jason Levin, and he's a middle school teacher in Beaverton , Oregon . He's on record saying that you might see some of his team in Nazi uniforms at your local tea party pretending to be racists and other offensive characters. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy doesn't it? And one has to ask the question; if tea partiers are racist, anti-Semitic homophobes, and it's so obvious, why does he need to plant people who pretend to be those things at your tea parties? Ah...leftist logic and tactics...there is no way to understand their twisted thoughts. But you do need to know what the left is up to.
And by the way, if you'd like to let Mr. Levin's school district know what you think of his behavior, and his potential influence on public school students in Beaverton, Oregon, you can contact them here. And you can reach the Principal at his school, Mr. Zan Hess, at this number: (503) 524-1345. If you choose to contact them, in direct contrast to Mr. Levin's behavior, please be polite. Remember, just because he's exposed himself publicly as a vile, indecent human being who will stoop to Nazi symbolism, and the promotion of racism and bigotry to silence those with whom he disagrees, doesn't mean everyone in the school district is bad.
In any event, we know that infiltrators might be coming to our tea parties. But remember last April 15th; the idea that the tea parties would be infiltrated in the same way was all over the news. The results? Virtually no infiltration. We know they might be coming, and they know we know. And they know we are ready. So if you're a couple of guys who enjoy wearing Nazi uniforms or holding racist signs, are you really likely to show up...just a couple of you, all alone, at a well organized tea party of 1,000-20,000 people who disagree with you? I haven't seen many leftists with that much spine. They prefer to hide in the shadows and lurk, like sleazy predators, or secret molesters. They don't want to be identified. And we ARE ready to identify them. Do they really want their ugly mugs pasted all over the internet holding racist signs? Hmmm...they might find it funny to think about and even to threaten, but it's probably not a good career move, and most will chicken out before they ever get started.
So here are some tips for dealing with this situation, should it arise at your tea party.
1. Be prepared. Make sure your security team knows about the potential for disturbance, and your procedures for dealing with any issues. If you have law enforcement at your event, let them know about the potential threats in advance. Most are happy to remove people who intend to disturb your event.
a. Have a plan. We suggest that you handle every incident in a predetermined manner. Your preparation will allow you to handle any incident in a calm and reasoned manner.
i. No aggressive confrontation. Make sure all of your people know that they are in the media spotlight. Our behavior will be watched. So if you encounter these miscreants, be polite, and ask them to leave your event. If you have police there, ask them to help you.
ii. Video, video, video. Make sure you have teams of people with Flip cams or other easy format video, and make sure every single encounter of this nature is captured on videotape. Create the record. We'll use it later to publicly humiliate the bad actors, and also to allow you to prove your version of the incidents if challenged.
iii. Partner up. If you are going to deal with one of these situations, always have at least one other person with you. It's imperative that any situation not be your word against someone else's. Have a witness and a helper with you at all times.
iv. Make signs that say "Infiltrator. This person is not with us." Put a big arrow on it so that you can stand next to infiltrators and point at them. Usually this will embarrass them, ruin their prank, and they will leave. Plus it's just plain fun and makes for great photos and video. Again...always with good humor, and a cheerful demeanor. It's fun to mock the lefties, and it makes them truly crazy when you are nice.
b. Talk about the issue of behavior and signs at the beginning of your event. Set the guidelines from stage.
i. No signs or behavior evidencing bigotry or racism of any kind will be tolerated, and people will be asked to get rid of them or leave.
ii. We are polite, law abiding people, and that's how we run our events.
iii. Ask attendees to immediately report any suspicious people to event security or the police (according to your own guidelines).
c. Don't worry...be happy. If you weren't so good at what you are doing, and so successful at influencing the debate in this country, people wouldn't feel compelled to try to shoot you down using sleazy tactics. You are dominating the political playing field, and doing so by being honest, operating with integrity and staying within the law. Be proud of what you are accomplishing, and enjoy your day.

Tax Day Tea Party - Today's Important Points to Remember
From a circulated e-mail originating from Tea Party Patriots:
tppatriotsupport@gmail.com
Please go look at their web site at: http://teapartypatriots.org/ and maybe slip them a donation.
1. The Significance of Tax Day. April 15th is known as Tax Day because for decades it is the date on the calendar when tax returns are due to both federal and state governments.
2. History of Tax Day Tea Parties. April 15, 2009 millions of hardworking Americans stood in unison in over 800 protests around the country. These demonstrations became known as the Tax Day Tea Party, which gave birth to a movement that speaks to millions of Americans.
3. Tea Party Patriots has been here since the start. TPP was there from the very beginning and remains a leader in the movement. With your help we are driving the dialogue that there is an excessive amount of government spending, taxation, and regulation. Government is not doing more with less; instead it is mortgaging the future of our children and grandchildren.
4. 2010 Tea Party Patriots Tax Day Tea Parties. Once again, Tea Party Patriots will lead the conversation, with thousands of local coordinators hosting local events on April 15th which will include the participation of millions of Americans. We will use Tax Day as a means to further attract, educate, organize and mobilize our fellow citizens to secure public policy consistent with three core values of fiscal responsibility, constitutionally limited government and free markets.
Government Out of Control - Fast Facts
1. Job Killing Health Care Bill Raises Taxes. Obama Pays For His Government-Run Health Care Bill With $569.2 Billion In Job-Killing Taxes On Small Businesses, Investments And Innovation. (Douglas W. Elmendorf, Letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi, 3/18/10)
2. Obama's $3.8 Trillion Budget Raises Taxes by $2 Trillion. "President Barack Obama's $3.8 trillion budget for fiscal 2011 raises $2 trillion in taxes, cuts spending on programs with considerable political support and still leaves the nation with $8.5 trillion in additional debt over the next decade." (Jonathan Weisman, "White House Proposes $3.8 Trillion Budget," The Wall Street Journal, 2/1/10)

Whats Going On at the VA Clinics?
This email came to me from a friend of mine, an army veteran, who went to the VA a few days ago for an appointment. Read what he had to say about his visit.
I had a doctors appointment at the local VA clinic yesterday and found something very interesting I would like to pass along...While going through triage before seeing the doctor, I was asked at the end of the exam, three questions.....
1. Did I feel stressed?
2. Did I feel threatened?
3. Did I feel like doing harm to someone?
The nurse then informed me, if I had answered yes to any of the questions, I would have lost my concealed carry permit as it would have gone into my medical records and the VA would have reported it to Homeland Security....(who would then conceivably report it to the respective State)...
Looks like they are going after the vets. Be forewarned and be aware. The Obama administration has gone on record as considering veterans and gun owners as potential terrorists. (Note: This is referring to an DHS Intel Report describing "angry Veterans" as potential right wing terrorists - a report that DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano has yet to apologize for).
If you are a veteran, you've been warned. If you know veterans, please pass this on to them.

Islam: Got Questions? Get Answers,.....hardly
The below video was taken 21 June 2009 at an Arab festival in Dearborn, MI, long a high density area for Muslims.
This is a video of Nabeel Qureshi and David Wood asking questions at Arabfest. There was a booth at the festival which had a banner titled "Islam: Got Questions? Get Answers." From this booth, the video graphers picked up a pamphlet claiming that Islam promotes peace and believed that it was full of poor logic and errors, therefore decided to ask questions and video tape the Q & A session. They went to the booth that provided the pamphlet in order to give them the opportunity to defend their claims. Security, however, stepped in and bullied this video graphing crew until they had to leave.
If this video doesn't make your blood boil - I don't know what will. Political correctness and catering to the radical Islamics INSIDE THIS COUNTRY is just like building our own noose for a hanging.
I wanted to be there and ask the Muslims in "Security" t-shirts if they wanted to go down an alley and play "Cowboys and Muslims".

WE NOTICED
Sent to me and attributed to Sherry Hackett, wife of the late Buddy Hackett, who is supposedly a dyed-in-the-wool Democrat.
President Obama:
During your campaign, Americans watched as you made mockery of our tradition of standing and crossing your heart when the Pledge of Allegiance was spoken. You, out of four people on the stage, were the only one not honoring our tradition.
During one of your many speeches, Americans heard you say that you intended to visit all 57 states. We all know that Islam, not America has 57 states.
YES, "We noticed."
When President Bush leaned over at Ground Zero and gently placed a flower on the memorial, while you nonchalantly tossed your flower onto the pile without leaning over.
YES, "We noticed."
Every time you apologized to other countries for America's position on an issue we have wondered why you don't share our pride in this great country. When you have heard foreign leaders berate our country and our beliefs, you have not defended us. In fact, you insulted the British Crown beyond belief.
YES, "We noticed."
When your pastor of 20 years, "God-damned America" and said that 9/11 was "America's chickens coming home to roost" and you denied having heard recriminations of that nature, we wondered how that could be. You later disassociated yourself from that church and Pastor Wight because it was politically expedient to do so.
When you announced that you would transform America, we wondered why. With all her faults, America is the greatest country on earth. Sir, KEEP THIS IN MIND, "if not for America and the people who built her, you wouldn't be sitting in the White House now." Prior to your election to the highest office in this Country, you were a senator from Illinois and from what we can glean from the records available, not a very remarkable one.
YES, "We noticed."
All through your campaign and even now, you have surrounded yourself with individuals who are basically unqualified for the positions for which you appointed them. Worse than that, the majority of them are people who, like you, bear no special allegiance, respect, or affection for this country and her traditions.
You are 14 months into your term and every morning millions of Americans wake up to a new horror heaped on us by you. You seek to saddle working Americans with a health care/insurance reform package that, along with cap and trade, will bankrupt this nation.
We seek, by protesting, to let our representatives know that we are not in favor of these crippling expenditures and we are labeled "un-American","racist", "mob". We wonder how we are supposed to let you know how frustrated we are. You have attempted to make our protests seem isolated and insignificant. Until your appointment, Americans had the right to speak out.
On September 11, 2001 there were no Republicans or Democrats, only Americans. And we all grieved together and helped each other in whatever way we could. The attack on 9/11 was carried out because we are Americans.
And YES, "We noticed."
There were many of us who prayed that as a black president you could help unite this nation. In your first six months you did more to destroy this nation than the attack on 9/11. You have failed us.
September 11 is a day of remembrance for all Americans. You propose to make 9/11 a "National Service Day". While we know that you don't share our reverence for 9/11, we pray that history will report your proposal as what it is, a disgrace.
You have made a mockery of our Constitution and the office that you hold. You have embarrassed and slighted us in foreign visits and policy.
We have noticed all these things. We will deal with you. When Americans come together again, it will be to remove you from office.
NOW, Take notice.

Just Ranting
I recently heard several things on television that just spun me up and is driving this rant.
First of all, Laura Ingramn was hosting the Bill O'Reilly show and had a former female aide (did not catch her name) to Senator Harry Reid (R-NV) on who defending the Obama Health Care mandate where US Citizens will have to indicate on their tax returns if they possess health care or pay a fine. Laura's assertion was that failure to pay the tax on not having a health care plan would bring tax agents to your door. This former aide stated over and over that the result of not paying the fine would be a "letter" asking you to pay it, and subsequent failures to pay will only bring more letters. I don't think so. IRS agents arresting people who refuse to get health care or pay the fine will be a defining movement.
Then Senator Bart Stupak (D-MI) announces he will not seek another term, then making a fool out of himself, states he is proud of the work he and the Democrat Party has down "standing up for small business". Alright, hand me the barf bag, there has not been a more anti-small business administration in decades. Where do these politicians get their reality from?
The final insult was President Obama himself, after making himself out to be the rube of the decade trusting the newly emerging Russians with talks on nuclear weapon reduction then telling the world under what conditions the U.S. would not use nuclear weapons, he performs a maneuver called "the Pot calling the Kettle black" by saying Sarah Palin has "no experience in Nuclear issues", when his experience consists of 14 months of controlling the nuclear football and obviously knowing nothing about National Defense and the world around him. Having spent half my adult life overseas, particularly in the Middle East, I'm pretty sure of the fact that the rest of the World see's Obama as a weakling. Letting the World in on his Nuclear Weapons strategy was just stupid.

Tea Party People - Who Are We?
According to a USA Today Poll, this is who the Tea Party People are:
49% Republican
43% Independent
8% Democrat (no surprise)
70% Conservative
22% Moderate
7% Liberal (go figure)
55% Men
45% Women
19% Annual Income less than $30,000
26% Annual Income $30,000 to $49,000
55% Annual Income $50,000 or more (these are the evil rich people)
79% Non-Hispanic White
6% Non-Hispanic Black
15% Other (must be aliens, not illegal aliens, but the extra-terrestrial type)
The USA Today poll is one thing, but the accompanying Associated Press article calls the Tea Party the angry-at-government movement and has yet to establish itself as a force, which after rallies, thins out.
This is who I think the Tea Party is,....or my Demographics poll if you will:
100% tired of over burdensome taxes
100% against the Stimulus Plan, the Health Care Bill, Cap and Trade,..oh, yeah, and bowing before the Saudi Royal family
100% tired of un-ethical and in some cases criminal politicians
100% tired of political correctness
100% want smaller government
100% (or near to it) believe in God, respect any religious belief, but believe this Country was founded upon the Christianity
100% believe in the pursuit if happiness and the government's role is to get out of the way, not create obstacles
100% believe this Country is heading for a collapse unless we greatly curb spending
100% (or near to it) want a drastic reduction in entitlement programs and pork barrel spending
The mainstream media is intent on minimizing the Tea Party movement as are politicians, mainly Democrats, but some Republicans too.
We have got to get to the polls. Stay informed. Talk politics with your friends, get them involved. We have go to save this Country - there is no place less to go.

Smart Kid - Good Analogy, iPad v. oPad
Some smart kids made the video below upon the concept "If only the government passed a law to make sure that those people who can not afford an Apple iPad do not suffer the unfairness and indignity of living without access to tablet computing", drawing an analogy to the Health Care Bill (ObamaCare) where all those politicians, who don't believe they are accountable to the People, passed a bill knowing nothing about the contents. Unbelievable.

Cowboy Logic for the Day
“The quickest way out of Debt is not to borrow money in the first place.”
Boy oh boy, don’t the wish our Government had this thought? Far and away most Americans have to live on a budget. Minor and major dilemmas such as vehicle breakdowns, home repairs and other unexpected bills wreck havoc on our budget, our standard of living and credit ratings. The U.S. Government doesn’t have that restriction – they spend money like drunken cowboys with two months wages burning a hole in their pocket who haven’t seen town in half a year. With common Americans having to work 5 months of a year just to pay for all of the tax burdens on us, you would think the Government has enough money to pay for things, if they spend wisely. Apparently this isn’t the case.

Another Illinois Politician
Sorry Illinois, but your record of sending idiots to Washington D.C. is long and well documented. The latest large mouth, crap spewing politician who has exposed himself is Representative Phil Hare, D-IL, of the 17th District of Illinois - need to send him home next election. We know he doesn't care about the Constitution as he states that, and he's probably a liar as well as he said he read the Health Care Bill three times.
Cowboy Logic for the Day
“Always take a good look at what you’re about to eat. It’s not so important to know what it is, but you should know what it was.”
When I heard this the first thing I thought about was the abomination called the “Health Care” bill that Congress passed without even knowing what was in it. Not a lick of those so called Representatives, be they Congressmen or Senators, read the damn thing, but insist on passing it anyway and ramming down our throats.

“I’m 63 and I’m Tired”
by Robert A. Hall
I’m 63. Except for one semester in college when jobs were scarce and a six-month period when I was between jobs, but job-hunting every day, I’ve worked, hard, since I was 18. Despite some health challenges, I still put in 50-hour weeks, and haven’t called in sick in seven or eight years. I make a good salary, but I didn’t inherit my job or my income, and I worked to get where I am. Given the economy, there’s no retirement in sight, and I’m tired. Very tired.
I’m tired of being told that I have to “spread the wealth” to people who don’t have my work ethic. I’m tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it.
I’m tired of being told that I have to pay more taxes to “keep people in their homes.” Sure, if they lost their jobs or got sick, I’m willing to help. But if they bought McMansions at three times the price of our paid-off, $250,000 condo, on one-third of my salary, then let the left-wing Congress-critters who passed Fannie and Freddie and the Community Reinvestment Act that created the bubble help them with their own money.
I’m tired of being told how bad America is by left-wing millionaires like Michael Moore, George Soros and Hollywood Entertainers who live in luxury because of the opportunities America offers. In thirty years, if they get their way, the United States will have the economy of Zimbabwe, the freedom of the press of China, the crime and violence of Mexico, the tolerance for Christian people of Iran, and the freedom of speech of Venezuela.
I’m tired of being told that Islam is a “Religion of Peace,” when every day I can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and daughters for their family “honor”; of Muslims rioting over some slight offense; of Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they aren’t “believers”; of Muslims burning schools for girls; of Muslims stoning teenage rape victims to death for “adultery”; of Muslims mutilating the genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur’an and Shari’a law tells them to.
I’m tired of being told that “race doesn’t matter” in the post-racial world of Obama, when it’s all that matters in affirmative action jobs, lower college admission and graduation standards for minorities (harming them the most), government contract set-asides, tolerance for the ghetto culture of violence and fatherless children that hurts minorities more than anyone, and in the appointment of U.S. Senators from Illinois.
I think it’s very cool that we have a black president and that a black child is doing her homework at the desk where Lincoln wrote the Emancipation Proclamation. I just wish the black president was Condi Rice, or someone who believes more in freedom and the individual and less arrogantly of an all-knowing government.
I’m tired of a news media that thinks Bush’s fundraising and inaugural expenses were obscene, but that think Obama’s, at triple the cost, were wonderful; that thinks Bush exercising daily was a waste of presidential time, but Obama exercising is a great example for the public to control weight and stress; that picked over every line of Bush’s military records, but never demanded that Kerry release his; that slammed Palin, with two years as governor, for being too inexperienced for VP, but touted Obama with three years as senator as potentially the best president ever. Wonder why people are dropping their subscriptions or switching to Fox News? Get a clue. I didn’t vote for Bush in 2000, but the media and Kerry drove me to his camp in 2004.
I’m tired of being told that out of “tolerance for other cultures” we must let Saudi Arabia use our oil money to fund mosques and Madrassas (Islamic schools) to preach hate in America, while no American group is allowed to fund a church, synagogue or religious school in Saudi Arabia to teach love and tolerance.
I’m tired of being told I must lower my living standard to fight global warming, which no one is allowed to debate. My wife and I live in a two-bedroom apartment and carpool together five miles to our jobs. We also own a three-bedroom condo where our daughter and granddaughter live. Our carbon footprint is about 5% of Al Gore’s, and if you’re greener than Gore, you’re green enough.
I’m tired of being told that drug addicts have a disease, and I must help support and treat them, and pay for the damage they do. Did a giant germ rush out of a dark alley, grab them, and stuff white powder up their noses while they tried to fight it off? I don’t think Gay people choose to be Gay, but I damn sure think druggies chose to take drugs. And I’m tired of harassment from cool people treating me like a freak when I tell them I never tried marijuana.
I’m tired of illegal aliens being called “undocumented workers,” especially the ones who aren’t working, but are living on welfare or crime. What’s next? Calling drug dealers, “Undocumented Pharmacists”? And, no, I’m not against Hispanics. Most of them are Catholic, and it’s been a few hundred years since Catholics wanted to kill me for my religion. I’m willing to fast track for citizenship any Hispanic person, who can speak English, doesn’t have a criminal record and who is self- supporting without family on welfare, or who serves honorably for three years in our military. Those are the citizens we need.
I’m tired of latte liberals and journalists, who would never wear the uniform of the Republic themselves, or let their entitlement-handicapped kids near a recruiting station, trashing our military. They and their kids can sit at home, never having to make split-second decisions under life and death circumstances, and bad mouth better people than themselves. Do bad things happen in war? You bet. Do our troops sometimes misbehave? Sure. Does this compare with the atrocities that were the policy of our enemies for the last fifty years and still are? Not even close.
So here’s the deal. I’ll let myself be subjected to all the humiliation and abuse that was heaped on terrorists at Abu Ghraib or Gitmo, and the critics can let themselves be subject to captivity by the Muslims, who tortured and beheaded Daniel Pearl in Pakistan, or the Muslims who tortured and murdered Marine Lt. Col. William Higgins in Lebanon, or the Muslims who ran the blood-spattered Al Qaeda torture rooms our troops found in Iraq, or the Muslims who cut off the heads of schoolgirls in Indonesia, because the girls were Christian. Then we’ll compare notes. British and American soldiers are the only troops in history that civilians came to for help and handouts, instead of hiding from in fear.
I’m tired of people telling me that their party has a corner on virtue and the other party has a corner on corruption. Read the papers; bums are bipartisan. And I’m tired of people telling me we need bipartisanship. I live in Illinois, where the “Illinois Combine” of Democrats has worked to loot the public for years. Not to mention the tax cheats in Obama’s cabinet.
I’m tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers and politicians of both parties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful mistakes, when we all know they think their only mistake was getting caught. I’m tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor.
Speaking of poor, I’m tired of hearing people with air-conditioned homes, color TVs and two cars called poor. The majority of Americans didn’t have that in 1970, but we didn’t know we were “poor.” The poverty pimps have to keep changing the definition of poor to keep the dollars flowing.
I’m real tired of people who don’t take responsibility for their lives and actions. I’m tired of hearing them blame the government, or discrimination or big-whatever for their problems.
Yes, I’m damn tired. But I’m also glad to be 63. Because, mostly, I’m not going to have to see the world these people are making. I’m just sorry for my granddaughter.

An Open Letter to the U.S. Supreme Court
Received this on e-mail as was asked to pass it on. I'll think I'll just post it instead.
AN OPEN LETTER TO THE JUSTICES OF THE SUPREME COURT OF THE UNITED STATES
I am a veteran of the Korean War era and for the first time in my life I am extremely fearful for my country. I feel that all the deaths and casualties of all the wars in my lifetime may have been in vane. Progressive politicians, judges and lawyers have so complicated and distorted the interpretations of our Constitution that they have brought us to the doorstep of dictatorial tyranny.
As you know, the United States is not a Democracy. Democracies are majority rule and can elect evil men or women as well as good, and they often do. We are a Constitutional Republic. We do not elect people to govern us or to control our lives. We elect people to represent us, to perform the duties, and only the duties, enumerated in the Constitution and to protect our God given rights. It is time to apply common sense to the interpretation of the documents given to us by the Founding Fathers.
First of all, America is a Christian Nation. It was founded by Christian Men based on Judeo Christian values. They had a deep and abiding belief in God and that the rights of man came from God, not the government. This is evident in their writings, their sayings and the way they lived their lives. They did not say you have to be Christian, or even believe in God to live here. You are free to worship God in any way you please or not at all. Your beliefs and actions, however, cannot in anyway contradict or destroy our Constitution, our laws or the values on which they were founded. There is no room here for Atheism, Socialism, Marxist Communism or any other isms that aim to destroy our belief in God. There is no room for sharia law, honor killings, the killing of infidels, genital mutilation or any other religious belief that would destroy our liberty or our values. The “Wall of Separation of Church and State” as interpreted by the progressives does not exist. It is time to end the purge of God and Christianity from our government, our schools and our lives!
The current rage of the progressives is their claim that the government has the ability to grant “rights” based on their interpretation of the phrase ”Pursuit of Happiness” in the Declaration of Independence, and both the power of Congress to provide for the “General Welfare ” and the “Commerce Clause” in the Constitution. The “Pursuit of Happiness” and “General Welfare” apply to every citizen in the United States, individually and as a whole. They are part of the description of the rights granted by God. God given rights belong to each individual at the time of birth. They are free. They have no costs in terms of material value. Government granted, so called, “rights,” do have a significant material cost. This material wealth must be produced by man using his talents and the raw materials given to us by God.
Therefore when the Government grants a “right” to one group of individuals, such as in the current “Health Reform Law” does, it must confiscate the wealth produced by another. Thus it depletes or destroys their “General Welfare” and their right to the “Pursuit of Happiness”! This is clearly unconstitutional. You cannot provide for the “General Welfare” and support the “Pursuit of Happiness’ for everyone by taking the wealth produced by one person and giving it to another.
The progressives have also stretched the “Commerce Clause” to infinity. Every action and everything in our lives can now be deemed to affect interstate commerce. Congress uses it to eliminate our freedom of choice in the most personal aspects of our lives. They are telling us what kind of cars we can drive, what kind of light bulbs we can use etc. They are trying to control everything from, what we can eat, to what kind of toilets we can have. One progressive Congressman has even bragged that they can control anything thru the Commerce Clause. Unfortunately, this is true under the past progressive interpretations of that clause, even including the Supreme Court. This assault on our personal freedom of choice has to stop!
Legal precedence be damned. The survival of America is at stake. I am asking, no begging, that you accept legal jurisdiction over the various lawsuits by several states regarding the unconstitutionality of the Health Reform Law. Start now on the long process of turning this ship of state around and heading it back to the Constitution given us by our Founding Fathers. Restore our Freedom.

No wonder this country is in trouble
An interesting video of representative Hank Johnson (D-GA) speaking with Admiral Robert Willard about moving the Marines to Guam. Once you get past his inability to express a coherent thought for 1 minute 20 seconds, you get to the most unbelievable example of stupidity you might ever hear at 1:23. How the admiral kept a straight face is beyond me.
This guy replaced Cynthia McKinney - hard to believe you could actually trade down from that. He was on purpose elected as the "best possible candidate. I think the education system in their district must be closed...and the collective IQ in that district a negative number.

Obama in the Wall Street Journal
Received this via e-mail tonight:
Article from the Wall Street Journal by Eddie Sessions:
"I have this theory about Barack Obama. I think he's led a kind of make-believe life in which money was provided and doors were opened because at some point early on somebody or some group took a look at this tall, good looking, half-white, half-black, young man with an exotic African/Muslim name and concluded he could be guided toward a life in politics where his facile speaking skills could even put him in the White House.
In a very real way, he has been a young man in a very big hurry. Who else do you know has written two memoirs before the age of 45? "Dreams of My Father" was published in 1995 when he was only 34 years old. The "Audacity of Hope" followed in 2006. If ,indeed, he did write them himself. There are some who think that his mentor and friend, Bill Ayers, a man who calls himself a "communist with a small 'c'" was the real author.
His political skills consisted of rarely voting on anything that might be deemed controversial.. He went from a legislator in the Illinois legislature to the Senator from that state because he had the good fortune of having Mayor Daley's formidable political machine at his disposal.
He was in the U.S. Senate so briefly that his bid for the presidency was either an act of astonishing self-confidence or part of some greater game plan that had been determined before he first stepped foot in the Capital.
How, many must wonder, was he selected to be a 2004 keynote speaker at the Democrat convention that nominated John Kerry when virtually no one had ever even heard of him before?
He outmaneuvered Hillary Clinton in primaries. He took Iowa by storm. A charming young man, an anomaly in a state with a very small black population, he oozed "cool" in a place where agriculture was the antithesis of cool. He dazzled the locals. And he had an army of volunteers drawn to a charisma that hid any real substance.
And then he had the great good fortune of having the Republicans select one of the most inept candidates for the presidency since Bob Dole. And then John McCain did something crazy. He picked Sarah Palin, an unknown female governor from the very distant state of Alaska . It was a ticket that was reminiscent of 1984's Walter Mondale and Geraldine Ferraro and they went down to defeat.
The mainstream political media fell in love with him. It was a schoolgirl crush with febrile commentators like Chris Mathews swooning then and now over the man. The venom directed against McCain and, in particular, Palin, was extraordinary.
Now, a full year into his first term, all of those gilded years leading up to the White House have left him unprepared to be President.
Left to his own instincts, he has a talent for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. It swiftly became a joke that he could not deliver even the briefest of statements without the ever-present Tele-Prompters.
Far worse, however, is his capacity to want to "wish away" some terrible realities, not the least of which is the Islamist intention to destroy America and enslave the West. Any student of history knows how swiftly Islam initially spread. It knocked on the doors of Europe, having gained a foothold in Spain . The great crowds that greeted him at home or on his campaign "world tour" were no substitute for having even the slightest grasp of history and the reality of a world filled with really bad people with really bad intentions.
Oddly and perhaps even inevitably, his political experience, a cakewalk, has positioned him to destroy the Democrat Party's hold on power in Congress because in the end it was never about the Party. It was always about his communist ideology, learned at an early age from family, mentors, college professors, and extreme leftist friends and colleagues.
Obama is a man who could deliver a snap judgment about a Boston police officer who arrested an "obstreperous" Harvard professor-friend, but would warn Americans against "jumping to conclusions" about a mass murderer at Fort Hood who shouted "Allahu Akbar." The absurdity of that was lost on no one. He has since compounded this by calling the Christmas bomber "an isolated extremist" only to have to admit a day or two later that he was part of an al Qaeda plot.
He is a man who could strive to close down our detention facility at Guantanamo even though those released were known to have returned to the battlefield against America . He could even instruct his Attorney General to afford the perpetrator of 9/11 a civil trial when no one else would ever even consider such an obscenity. And he is a man who could wait three days before having anything to say about the perpetrator of yet another terrorist attack on Americans and then have to elaborate on his remarks the following day because his first statement was so lame.
The pattern repeats itself. He either blames any problem on the Bush administration or he naively seeks to wish away the truth.
Knock, knock. Anyone home? Anyone there?
Barack Obama exists only as the sock puppet of his handlers, of the people who have maneuvered and manufactured this pathetic individual's life.
When anyone else would quickly and easily produce a birth certificate, this man has spent over a million dollars to deny access to his. Most other documents, the paper trail we all leave in our wake, have been sequestered from review. He has lived a make-believe life whose true facts remain hidden.
We laugh at the ventriloquist's dummy, but what do you do when the dummy is President of the United States of America?

Cattle Guards
For those of you who have never traveled to the West or Southwest, cattle guards are horizontal steel rails placed at fence openings, in dug-out places in the roads adjacent to highways (sometimes across highways), to prevent cattle from crossing. For some reason the cattle will not step on the guards, probably because they fear getting their feet caught between the rails.
A few months ago, President Obama received a report that there were over 100,000 cattle guards in Colorado. Because Colorado ranchers had protested his proposed changes in grazing policies, he ordered the Secretary of the Interior to fire half of the guards immediately.
Before the Interior Secretary could respond and presumably straighten him out, Vice-President Joe Biden intervened with a request that before any guards were fired, they be given six months of retraining.
And we PAY these people???

Mark Davis: The dubious logic linking Tea Parties to racism
Heard Mark Davis on the radio and thought everyone should read this column.
05:09 PM CDT on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 Dallas Morning News
A year ago April 15, I looked out onto a crowd at Dallas City Hall as the Tea Party movement launched. On this year's Tax Day, I will again MC the proceedings, this time at QuikTrip Park in Grand Prairie.
We will again welcome speakers who will share passions, strategies and yes, probably even some anger – all designed to give voice to the belief that America is headed in a very wrong direction in terms of government overreach.
Some people with some very loud media megaphones believe that I will be conducting the equivalent of a Klan rally. This is a lie, and their slanders – driven by their political bigotry – cannot stand.
I don't particularly care if some idiot on the street misreads the Tea Party vigor and invents in it a fictional sinister motivation. But when a succession of people who analyze things for a living weave such vast falsehoods, it is simultaneously sad and infuriating.
Frank Rich of The New York Times and Colbert King of The Washington Post are among the columnists willingly checking their honesty – or their brains – at the door to throw political mud. Either these people are too ignorant to know their charges or false, or they don't care and spit their bile anyway.
King wrote last week of looking at "angry faces" at Tea Party rallies and finding them "eerily familiar," resembling protesters seeking to prevent a black University of Alabama enrollee in 1956.
Rich peppered his column with Third Reich imagery, eventually backing up his claim of racism with comparisons to those who opposed the 1964 Civil Rights Act.
Leaving aside for the moment that much opposition to that measure came from Democrats, it cannot be said plainly enough today: These men and their numerous partners in this smear should be ashamed – if nothing else, for logical flaws beneath a fifth-grader.
Their argument is: (A) This movement is filled with vocal people displeased with the way things are going; (B) I can find examples in history of people whose vocal displeasure was fueled by racism. Hence, (C) these people must be fueled by racism.
OK, boys, let's see how you like it: (A) You are fans of ObamaCare; (B) Castro is a fan of ObamaCare, so, (C) you are communists.
Logic and basic human decency prevent me from making that connection seriously. I would like to believe that if these craven critics actually attended a Tea Party event, their testimony would change. But I doubt it. Theirs is a screeching born of panic, the need to demonize a movement rather than debate it.
Is the occasionally tasteless sign, T-shirt or voice found at the occasional Tea Party rally? Of course. But they are but a tiny fraction of the hateful scope of venom heaped on President George W. Bush after the 2000 election or during the Iraq war.
Don't take my word that the Tea Party critics are full of it. Come to QuikTrip Park on April 15. You will find people looking for leaders who will reduce spending, reduce taxes and obey the Constitution. And they don't care what color those leaders are. If the crowd is overwhelmingly white, it's not because the Tea Party has a problem with people of color. It's because so many people of color have a problem with limited government. Anyone in that crowd will gladly make the case to any skeptic of any color.
I have no problem with anyone who disagrees with Tea Party politics. Tell me such limited government is too risky. Tell me ObamaCare is a great idea. Tell me taxes need to be raised. We'll have a lively chat.
But tell me the Tea Party people whom I have come to know and admire are racists, and you are a liar.

Stimulus?
Don't know if this is true or not,..thought I would post to let someone else run with it. Would not surprise me to find out it was true.
Some have said that the stimulus hasn't saved any jobs, but here is a case where at least one job was saved. Oregon State University Athletic Director Bob DeCarolis was considering firing their basketball coach, Craig Robinson, after an 8-11 start (2-5 in the Pac 10 conference). When word of this reached Washington D.C., Under-secretary of Education Martha Kanter was dispatched to Corvallis with $17 million in stimulus money for the university. Craig Robinson's job is safe for this year. For those of you unfamiliar with Coach Robinson, he just so happens to be Michelle Obama's brother. Just a coincidence I'm sure!
