Another Solar Energy Money Pit

The American people are tired,…really tired of politicians on one hand wasting our taxpayer dollars and on the other hand getting rich while serving as our elected representatives. So the People can’t be blamed for initially looking at practically any government expenditure without a jaded set of eyeballs. Especially when it comes to the Obama Administration,…….and when Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi’s names come up, it further raises suspicion.

There is an internet story being circulated through e-mail about yet another Solar Company getting Federal Funds. It comes across like this:

The Solar thing just got a little more interesting.......REALLY!

The Tonopah Solar Company in Harry Reid's Nevada is getting a $737 million loan from Obama's DOE.

The project will produce a 110 megawatt power system and employ 45 permanent workers.

That's costing us just $16 million per job.

One of the investment partners in this endeavor is Pacific Corporate Group (PCG).

The PCG executive director is Ron Pelosi who is the brother to Nancy 's husband.

Liberal – Left Wing apology groups have been trying to “correct’ this by stating that the Federal Funds arwe a “Loan Gaurantee” as opposed to a monetary grant. The Federal Government (meaning the taxpayers) will only be the hook for $757 million if the company defaults or goes bankrupt. Not much chance of that, is there!

Obama (and Pelosi) supporters continue that Ronald Pelosi (Nan’s brother in law) will not personally profit from this expansion by Tonopah Solar and Nancy is quoted as saying she “is not familiar with this loan guarantee”,.....sort of like her not being familiar with Obamacare,.....”we have to pass the bill in order to find out what’s in it.”
