Democrats Lies from the Democratic National Convention

Democrat Lie: Obama himself claimed more job growth in the past 27 months than President George W. Bush created "during the entire seven years before this crisis." San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro, exposed also himself as a bald faced liar as well by saying "Despite incredible odds and united Republican opposition, our president took action, and now we've seen 4.5 million new jobs."
Truth: There are actually 400,000 fewer people working today than in January 2009.

Democrat Lie: Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) said, “We learned that Mitt Romney pays a lower tax rate than middle-class families.”
Truth:: Romney paid 13.9 percent on his last tax return. This is because much of his income is treated as capital gains and dividends, which are taxed at a preferential rate of 15 percent, and because he donated about 14 percent of his income to charity.

Democrat Lie: The DNC claims that "when Romney was Massachuesets Governor, he lead the state to a dismal 47th out of 50 in job growth.”
Truth: When Romney became Governor the state was 50th in job creation. Romney took the state to 28th in job creation in his final year in office.
