The spread of Islamic law - Shariah - throughout Western civilization, is very troubling. Western Europe is slipping under its influence through many factors of society. What you don't see is Shariah making much headway in Eastern Europe - simply because they won't put up with that crap.
Compare the Christian Ten Commandants to the Islamic fundamentals of the Qur’an (Koran) being the Law, Jihad the Way, and, death in the way of Allah the highest aspiration.
There are many Islamic organizations overtly, covertly and in a clandestine manner trying to fundamentally change our society to a point where Shariah is normal and eventually will be the Law of the Land. Make no mistake about it!
During the 2008 Holy Land Foundation HAMAS terror funding trial in Dallas, Texas, Muslim Brotherhood internal documents were made public. From these documents, we know that nearly every single major Muslim organization in the U.S. is controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood or one of its supporting groups including: CAIR (the Council on American-Islamic Relations); MAS (the Muslim American Society); MSA (the Muslim Students Association); ISNA (the Islamic Society of North America); the Fiqh Council of North America, ICNA (the Islamic Circle of North America); IIIT (the International Islamic Institute of Thought); NAIT (the North American Islamic Trust), and hundreds of others to include some that bill themselves as local community organizations.
These nefarious organizations work to bring Shariah into the American culture. Through academia, all levels of courts, local communities, and, the government including the military. On College Campuses across America , MSA students lobby for Shariah compliant gender segregation at gyms and swimming pools, as well as other Shariah sensitive issues. One of the worst things to date is the MSA push to recognize the 1948 anniversary of the founding of the State of Israel as a "catastrophe".
Muslims in college continue to push to bring radical Islamist speakers onto Campus',.....organizations such as Hamas, Hizbollah and others who champion occasion to spread Islam and Shariah.
There are some 50 cases in 20+ different states involving a “conflict of law” between Shariah and American state law. Many of these cases are women and children from Muslim American families who have no other resource to preserve their rights which are minimal at best or totally unavailable under Shariah. In most of these cases, existing American law took precedence over Shariah, however the more often this issue is raised in the courts, the most main stream and acceptable Shariah will become. And make no mistake about it, Shariah HAS BEEN FOUND APPLICABLE in a small number of these cases.
Look at the inroads into the U.S. Government,........Homeland Security and Department of Justice publications and reports cannot contain the words “Islam,” “Islamic,” “Muslim”, "Islamic Terrorism", "Radical Islamism" or other terms "abusive" to or stereotyping this religion. I guess we just don't want to piss off a bunch of bomb vest wearing camel jockies.

The Public Likes Herman Cain's Message
Over this past weekend I was talking to several different people about county and city politics when the discussion turned to national politics. In a group of six people (myself, a school teacher, a technical college instructor, a state highway patrol officer, an office manager and a commercial construction company supervisor) all of us agreed that Herman Cain was the best candidate that has surfaced to lead this country. Two of these people even admitted they had voted for Obama!
A recent article from the internet says Herman Cain is firing up the crowd, all over the country, at a tea party and other rallies. In one West Tennessee town, Cain was speaking when the generator powering his sound system shudders to a halt.
Cain stands awkwardly for a few moments then suddenly begins to sing. Slowly at first but gaining in speed, he belts out "Impossible Dream" in the rich baritone he's honed in church choir. "You know, when it's your rally, you can do what you want to do!" Cain says as he finishes with a raucous laugh. The 500 or so supporters who have jammed the strip mall parking lot to hear the Republican Party's newest star speak roar their approval.
Momentum restored, Cain launches into a pitch for his signature 9-9-9 tax plan, and the crowd is right there with him, chanting 9-9-9 along with the Georgia businessman. The 65-year-old's improbable campaign for the presidency is all about momentum right now. How does he maintain the wave he's riding in recent polls that have catapulted him from an also-ran in the GOP race to the elite top tier?
There are many reasons his bid could fade as quickly as it rose. He acknowledged Friday that he will trail former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and Texas Gov. Rick Perry significantly in fundraising. Cain has never held elected office and could wilt under the rigors of the campaign trail and withering scrutiny coming his way.
But Cain's moment is right now, and his everyman image is resonating.
"In the field right now, he's the most like me," said Jimmy Hoppers, a 60-year-old physician from Jackson, who was hoping to meet Cain so he could hand deliver a $1,000 donation to his campaign. "He's run a business and paid the bills. He's authentic."
On Friday night Cain, who is African-American, drew about 2,000 people — some in workshirts and overalls and nearly all white — to a feed barn in rural Waverly, Tennessee. This is a socially conservative country and Cain — ever the salesman — knows his audience. He closes by invoking God and singing the hymn "He Looked Beyond My Faults." "I love him," gushed truck driver James Bland after Cain spoke. "He doesn't talk down to you. I think he gets the working man."
"And it makes me so happy that he's put God back into things," chimed in Bland's wife, Karen. In a year of anti-government fervor, Cain is casting himself as the anti-politician Main Street candidate who would bring common-sense business know-how to the bureaucratic thick of Washington. The former conservative radio show host is brash and straight-talking, saying that "stupid people are ruining America." He mimics liberals with a high-pitched whiny voice.
"Well, he doesn't have foreign policy experience," he says to laughs. "And the guy we have in there now does?"
Cain doesn't ignore the race issue, saying that some critics have called him "a racist" and an "Oreo" for leaving the "Democrat plantation."
"I have grown up telling it like it is and I am going to continue to tell it like it is," he said at a campaign rally in a suburb of Memphis, where he was born. "I don't talk politician."
Voters are responding. He drew large and enthusiastic crowds Friday as he kicked off a two-day bus tour in Tennessee, hopscotching to a trio of tea party events across the state. Tea party activists make up the backbone of Cain's support and he speaks their language fluently. "My fellow patriots," he begins some sentences. References to freedom and liberty pepper his remarks. He dives into an anecdote about the Constitution and takes a jab at President Barack Obama. "You know what? I kinda like my guns and my Bible," he says.
And at every turn, he stresses his business background, noting that at a recent debate fellow Republican candidates dismissed his 9-9-9 tax plan as politically dead on arrival.
"Politicians put together things that will pass. Businessmen put together plans that solve the problems," he said.
Indeed, Cain's 9-9-9 plan seems to have put him on the map.
Following the rally in Jackson, Cain bolted off the stage and shook hands with onlookers, including Linda Fowler-Cole, who had wandered over after a shopping trip to Lowe's and was wearing a T-shirt with an oversized picture of Obama. (Jesus. what guts that took with what that fool has done to this country).
"I heard the 9-9-9 guy was here and I came to take a look," the Democrat said. "I like Obama, but that 9-9-9 is catchy."
In Bartlett, Tenn., Cain drew a number of black supporters who were excited at the prospect of a conservative African-American of his stature. "To me he represents what Martin Luther King was talking about when he talked about his dream," Reginald Tooley, a 49-year-old physical therapist from Memphis, said. "With hard work and self-reliance you can do anything you want."
Cain says he has been buoyed by support from regular folks. "You just don't know how much this encourages me, the fact that you all came out tonight," he said in
Waverly. "You see, this is what the folks in D.C. don't get because they don't come out here to meet with you."

American Generations Explained
People born before 1946 were called The Silent generation.
People born between 1946 and 1964 are called The Baby Boomers.
People born between 1965 and 1979 are called Generation X.
And people born between 1980 and 2010 are called Generation Y.
Why do we call the last group Generation Y?
Y should I get a job?
Y should I leave home and find my own place?
Y should I get a car when I can borrow yours?
Y should I clean my room?
Y should I wash and iron my own clothes?
Y should I buy any food?
But a cartoonist explained it very eloquently below...

Charitable Organizations,.....and some that are not
Sent to me from a reader, who is looking out for all of us with the admonishment, "As you open your pockets for the next natural disaster or for general giving, please keep these facts in mind":
The American Red Cross President and CEO Marsha J. Evans salary for the year was $651,957 plus expenses.
The United Way President Brian Gallagher receives a $375,000 base salary along with numerous expense benefits.
UNICEF CEO Caryl M. Stern receives $1,200,000 per year (100k per month) plus all expenses including a Rolls Royce. Less than 5 cents of your donated dollar goes to the cause.
The Salvation Army's Commissioner Todd Bassett receives a salary of only $13,000 per year (plus housing) for managing this $2 billion dollar organization. 96 percent of donated dollars go to the cause.
The American Legion National Commander receives a $0.00 zero salary. Your donations go to help Veterans and their families and youth!
The Veterans of Foreign Wars National Commander receives a $0.00 zero salary. Your donations go to help Veterans and their families and youth!
And my favorite charity hands down is the Children's Hunger Fund, operated by Dave Phillips. Children's Hunger Fund is a Christian 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that works to alleviate the suffering of children in impoverished regions across America and around the world. Check them out at: http://www.chfus.org/

From the Recent News
Hail Ghadhafi's Death,....makes no matter to me how he was killed, the important thing is that he is gone. There are reports coming out that he secreted over $200 Billion,....billion not million, from Libya's coffers to personal bank accounts over the world. However, the U.S. News paper, what we call the mainstream media is declaring this an Obama Foreign Policy Victory. Really. Obama bungled this from the get go not establishing clear objectives and publishing the Rules of Engagement so that the Libyan military new precisely what they do against the Libyan insurgents and get away with it. Obama Foreign Policy victory - No. If anyone get's the Blue Ribbon it should be the Libyan people.
American Troops Out of Iraq. Obama announced he was pulling out all American troops save for around 200 to 1,200 for Foreign Military Sales purposes. The mainstream media is again championing this as Obama fulfilling a promise. Well, they got that right. He did promise to end American involvement in the Iraq conflict and he has also fulfilled his promise as a naive and inexperienced leader in foreign policy. The winner's here are the Iranians who are chomping at the bit to have a clear field to wreck havoc in Iraq and bring that country into the Iranian fold either through a Iranian sparked civil war or through subversion of the Iraqi government. Commenting on the troop pullout, the Obama administration touted this as playing hard ball with the Iraqi government over the Iraqi's intransigence about signing a Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) over U.S. service member immunity from Iraqi prosecution. Chalk this up to failed Diplomacy of the Obama Administration.
Tax Brakes for Hiring Felons? California is floating a bill that would give businesses a tax break to hire ex-felons. Where is the tax break to hire a disabled veteran or any service member leaving the military? Unbelievable - but that's California.

Tailgate of the Week
If you thought I mis-wrote the title, see picture below:
Boy, ain’t this the truth! Not even considering the recently exposed Iranian Assassination plot against a Saudi Diplomat, where a Iranian Quds Force funded and sponsored a plan using a Naturalized American Citizen, some mutt by the name of Manssor Arbabsiar of Iranian origins, through a Mexican Cartel link to kill the Saudi ambassador Adel al-Jubeir to Washington, was foiled because of a confidential informant within the Cartel contacts alerted U.S. authorities.
read more about the Iranian plot here.
And some people think we can negotiate with these murderous scumbags.

The Occupy Whatever Movement
This came to me with the title "Obama's Red October Uprising", sent to me by an old tough as nails Cowboy I know well.
The Resurgence of the American Socialist Movement
"We must make our election between economy and Liberty , or profusion and servitude." --Thomas Jefferson
By now, you're aware that the seeds of socialist dissent are being sown across our great nation, mostly within the fetid soil of urban centers, where cadres of activists coalesce under the aegis of "Occupy [fill in the blank]." It would be difficult to avoid the fanfare, given the amount of Leftmedia coverage (read: promotion) that these protests receive.
According to my colleague Brent Bozell at Media Research Center, the protests were the subject of "more broadcast network stories in the first nine days than the Tea Party drew in the first nine months."
Typical of the adoring coverage was this missive from ABC's Diane Sawyer, who claimed the occupiers "have spread to more than 250 American cities, more than a thousand countries -- every continent but Antarctica ." (Seriously, this drama queen actually said "more than a thousand countries.")
In stark ideological contrast to the Tea Party Movement, which seeks to restore Liberty and Rule of Law as enshrined in our Constitution, the socialist "Flea Party" movement occupying city blocks across our nation is composed of the latest generation of useful idiots and debauched opportunists.
Conservative political observers have uniformly written off these protests because they're populated by the usual suspects -- a mix of leftist protagonists supported by Ivy League ignorati, collegiate lemmings, paid union thugs, the socially disenfranchised, and a handful of unwitting poor folks. Though these protestors exhibit limited "intellectual occupancy," I would caution that underestimating the threat to Liberty that these Occupier protests pose is a serious error. Reputable polling firms find that more than 35 percent of likely voters support the protests.
Just who is behind the Occupiers? Here's the short answer: Barack Hussein Obama and his socialist bourgeoisie.
As our editors have comprehensively revealed through the pages of The Patriot Post, from the time Obama first emerged on the national political scene in 2004, to the rise of his present-day regime, Team Obama has crafted a perilous national security crisis bent on "fundamentally transforming the United States of America" by imploding free enterprise and replacing it with Democratic Socialism.
So, while the Occupiers are of many guises their common thread is a storm-trooper adherence to Obama's Marxist agenda. The mob movement was organized by " Occupy Wall Street ," a front for the Marxist General Assembly movement, whose communications director, Brian Phillips, clearly articulated the organization's primary objective "to overthrow the government."
That goal has been echoed in the last two weeks from coast to coast, as affirmed by an Occupy LA leader, who proclaimed that nonviolence is not an option: "[T]he bourgeoisie won't go without violent means.
Revolution! Yes, revolution that is led by the working class. Long live revolution! Long live socialism!" Their populist national slogan, "99 percenters v. 1 percenters," implies that the American people are 99-to-1 in favor of forcibly redistributing the possessions of the wealthiest 1 percent of Americans to the other 99 percent.
This slogan, and its underlying message, is being promoted by William Ayers, the former Weather Underground radical. Ayers issued a "collective statement" for the Occupiers concluding "that no true democracy is attainable when the process is determined by economic power."
As you may recall, Ayers is a close friend and former neighbor of Obama back in Barack's "community organizer" days in the fashionable Hyde Park section of Chicago. It was Ayers who hosted, in his own home, the first fundraiser for Obama's successful 1996 Illinois State Senate campaign, thus launching BO's political career.
This latest rash of socialist protests has crafted its classiest message around the revolution-tested politics of disparity, under the leadership of old-school radicals like Ayers. They are building on Obama's classiest theme of "asking people who have benefited the most over the last decade to share in the sacrifice." Of the current 99-percenter protests, Obama concludes, "I think it expresses the frustrations the American people feel."
Obama's DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz was a bit more candid: "The protests are symbolic of the frustration that middle class folks and working people feel. ... We understand their frustration, we applaud their activism and hopefully they're going to help get the Republicans in Washington 's attention so we shift the Republicans' focus from just Barack Obama's job, to everyone's job."
Nancy Pelosi added, "The message of the protesters is a message for the establishment everyplace. No longer will the recklessness of some on Wall Street cause massive joblessness on Main Street . ... God bless them for their spontaneity. It's independent ... it's young, it's spontaneous, it's focused. And it's going to be effective."
Obama's "Red October" uprising takes its inspiration from the 1917 Social Democratic Labour Party protests in Russia , which gave rise to the Communist Party of the Soviet Union . Then, as now, the economy was in serious decline. Then, as now, Bolshevik revolutionaries were young, some 85 percent of them under age 30. Then, as now, they issued decrees giving rise to "the most militant and class-conscious" protests.
When their protests had grown to sufficient strength, the Socialist Democrats concluded, "an armed uprising is inevitable, and that the time for it is fully ripe."
It was a brief and bloody revolution, and at its conclusion, the protestors implemented policies that mirror proposals advocated by SDLP of today, the Occupiers: All real property was seized and redistributed, companies and factories were nationalized, all private wealth was confiscated by the state, Church properties were seized, and debts were repudiated. Fast-forward about 100 years to the "99 percenters v. 1 percenters."
Today, almost 35 percent of Americans are dependent upon government subsidies, and 40 percent of Americans pay no income tax and thus have no stake in the cost of government. Consequently, most are predisposed to vote for the redistribution of others' incomes rather than work for their own. Further, if the Supreme Court rules that ObamaCare comports with the so-called "living constitution" rather than strikes it down based upon Rule of Law, by 2013 the number of Americans who depend on the largess of the central government will swell to well over 50 percent.
Combine the dependent ranks, the sprouting seeds of socialist unrest and the grim reality that the American economy is at serious risk of collapsing altogether under the Obama "debt bomb", and we have all the ingredients for an even bigger Red October uprising today and just before the election of 2012.
Should Barack Hussein Obama be re-elected in 2012, a prospect that, admittedly, seems rather inconceivable today, it would create the proverbial "perfect storm" to finish transforming the national landscape from one characterized by Liberty to one smothered by tyranny.
America is a great nation with a resilient economy and political system, but it is only kept so to the extent that the American people uphold the principles and values upon which that greatness is founded. However, for those who remain complacent in the belief that Liberty is self-perpetuating, that the question of transition of power by bullets rather than ballots is archaic, I remind you that those who do not know history are condemned to repeat it. Of such complacency, Samuel Adams wrote, "If ye love wealth better than Liberty , the tranquility of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, go from us in peace. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!"

Congressman Issa's Letter to Eric Holder
As Eric Holder, the Justice Department, and the Obama Administration continued to stone wall Congress and the American people on the Fast and Furious atrocity, where the U.S. Government became the de facto provider of weapons to Mexican Cartels, some individual Congressmen continue to find the truth.
After receiving a scathing letter from Attorney General Eric Holder addressed to the chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Rep. Darrell Issa, R-CA, Chairman House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, cited this new low in the efforts of Holder, etc., to keep the truth from coming out about this incredibly stupid endeavor. Their actions certainly relate to their incompetence and possibly their criminality. Hundreds, if not thousands, of Federal Agents hold Holder and the Administration responsible for the deaths of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and Immigration Enforcement Agent Jaime Zapata, whose murders were done using weapons from Fast and Furious.
Darrell Isa, R-CA, Chairman House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform sent a letter to Attorney General Holder dated October 9, 2011.
Apparently there was a lot more back and forth than just reported in the newspapers from Issa's committee and the Attorney General's Office on just how far up the chain of command did knowledge of Operations Fast and Furious, aka Operation Arming the Cartels, go before being blown up with Holder's lies (for you liberal's it was "mistruths") concerning when he knew.
Issa tells Holder that all he and his department has done was to "obfuscate, shift blame, berate and attempt to change the topic" concerning the Department's part in Fast and Furious....and that's putting it lightly.
You must read this damning letter. At the very least Holder needs to be fired for incredible incompetence. At worst he is guilty of perjury.
Again, you must read this letter, available from Fox News here.

Republican Presidential Candidate Status, October 19, 2011
Boy, I am sure liking the Republican Presidential Debates. The field is starting to be whittled down now, allowing Americans to see and hear more of the candidates they are interested in. If the truth be known, each one of these candidates are a much. much better choice than the current clown we have in office.
The measurement of previous public office, loosely termed as experience, has to be off the table now that we have a President who was elected without any experience.
It will be interesting to see how the polls change after last night's debate. Just before the debate the following CNN survey, taken from Friday through Sunday, showed Mitt Romney and Herman Cain essentially tied.
Romney gets 26 percent of the vote, Cain gets 25 percent, and Perry gets 13 percent.
Ron Paul is in fourth place, at 9 percent, Newt Gingrich gets 8 percent, Michele Bachmann 6 percent, Rick Santorum 2 percent and Jon Huntsman 1 percent.
The number of undecideds, including those who would vote for someone else or no one else, is 10 percent - a relatively small number.
So accordingly to CNN the Republican Residential Candidate Tree is looking like this:
I think last night's debate will not change the leader board too much, but the changes will be in this direction: Cain - unchanged or up slightly; Romney - unchanged or down slightly; Perry - down a little; Paul - down a lot; Gingrich - up somewhat and perhaps the bigger winner of this debate; Bachmann - down a little; Santorum - down somewhat, but not because of his performance but due to people's perception that he is too much of a dark horse candidate;
What's that? The poll lists Huntsman, but Johnson's picture appears above? Wait a minute,......Yeah, you're right. Can anybody tell them apart?

Debunking Obama's Tax Demagoguery
I had previously written a post on the truth about taxes incurred by various income levels. Dick Morris and Eileen McGann wrote a much simpler to understand piece which I had included below. This piece by Morris and McGann entitled "Debunking Obama's Tax Demagoguery", was published on DickMorris.com on October 1, 2011
When President Obama says that the rich don't pay their share of taxes, he is lying, distorting, and demagoging. Here are the facts according to the IRS:
• Those making more than $1 million pay 24% of income in taxes
• Those making $200,000 to $300,000 pay 17.5%
• Those making $100,000 to $125,000 pay 9.9%
• Those making $50,000 to $60,000 pay 6.3%
• Those making $20,000 to $30,000 pay 2.5%
And what of millionaires who pay no taxes?
There are 1,470 of them. They represent six-tenths of one percent of all those with million dollar incomes in the U.S. If we assume that they make an average income of $2 million a year each, taxing them at the same rate as other millionaires (24.4%) would yield $367 million, which would increase Treasury income tax revenues by 30 one-hundredths of one percent or one-third of one-tenth of one percent!
Overall, the IRS reports that the revenues from the income tax are sharply skewed toward taxes on the rich:
• The top 1% pays 39%
• The top 5% pays 60%
• The top 10% pays 72%
• The bottom half pays 3%
So who does Obama think he is kidding?

Secret Service "Impressions & Observations" book
"You all have really made us feel at home and safe, and there is no amount of thanks that I could convey that would give you a sense of how important you all are to us," Mrs. Obama told hundreds of Secret Service employees. She spoke to the group for about five minutes after touring classified areas of the building, including the protective intelligence division and the joint operations center.
The first lady paid tribute not just to the agents who protect the Obamas, but to all the workers behind the scenes, "whether it's filing or looking at terrorists."
Some people are surmising this impropmtu scheduled event was in response to a book called "Impressions & Observations" of Secret Service personnel assigned to guard U.S. Presidents/First Ladies, and Vice Presidents, which the below snippet from was released two weeks ago across the internet:
Snippets from a book of "Impressions & Observations" ofSecret Service Views of Presidents & First Ladies John and Jacqueline Kennedy: A philanderer of the highest order. She ordered the kitchen help to save all the left-over wine during State dinner, which mixed with fresh wine and served again during the next White House occasion.
Lyndon and Lady Bird Johnson: Another philanderer of the highest order. In addition, LBJ was as crude as the day is long. Both JFK and LBJ kept a lot of women in the White House for extramarital affairs, and both had set up "early warning systems" to alert them if/when their wives were nearby. Both Kennedy & Johnson were promiscuous and oversexed men. She was either naive or just pretended to "not know" about her husband's many liaisons.
Richard and Pat Nixon: A "moral" man, but very odd and weird, paranoid, etc. He had horrible relationship with his family, and in a way, was almost a recluse. She was quiet most of the time.
Spiro Agnew: Nice, decent man, everyone in the Secret Service was surprised about his downfall.
Gerald and Betty Ford: A true gentlemen who treated the Secret Service with respect and dignity. He had a great sense of humor. She drank a lot!
Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter: A complete phony who would portray one picture of himself to public and very different in private, e.g..,would be shown carrying his own luggage, but the suit cases were always empty; he kept empty ones just for photo ops. Wanted the people to see him as pious and a non-drinker, but he and his family drank alcohol a lot. He had disdain for the Secret Service, and was very irresponsible with the "football" nuclear codes. He didn't think it was a big deal and would keep military aides at a great distance. Often does not acknowledge the presence of Secret Service personnel assigned to serve him. She mostly did her own thing.
Ronald and Nancy Reagan: The real deal --- moral, honest, respectful, and dignified. They treated Secret Service and everyone else with respect and honor. Thanked everyone all the time. He took the time to know everyone on a personal level. One "favorite" story which has circulated among the Secret Service personnel was an incident early in his Presidency, when he came out of his room with a pistol tucked on his hip. The agent in charge asked: "Why the pistol, Mr. President?" He replied, "In case you boys can't get the job done, I can help." It was common for him to carry a pistol. When he met with Gorbachev, he had a pistol in his briefcase. Upon learning that Gary Hart was caught with Donna Rice, Reagan said, "Boys will be boys, but boys will not be Presidents." [He obviously either did not know or forgot JFK's and LBJ's sexcapades!]
She (Nancy Reagan) was very nice but very protective of the President; and the Secret Service was often caught in the middle. She tried hard to control what the President ate, and he would say to the agent, "Come on, you gotta help me out." The Reagans drank wine during State dinners and special occasions only; otherwise, they shunned alcohol; the Secret Service could count on one hand the times they were served wine during their "family dinner". For all the fake bluster of the Carters, the Reagans were the ones who lived life as genuinely moral people.
George H. And Barbara Bush: Extremely kind and considerate Always respectful. Took great care in making sure the agents' comforts were taken care of. They even brought them meals, etc. One time Barbara Bush brought warm clothes to agents standing outside at Kennebunkport ; one agent who was given a warm hat, and when he tried to nicely say "no thanks" even though he was obviously freezing, President Bush said "Son, don't argue with the First Lady, put the hat on.." He was the most prompt of the Presidents. He ran the White House like a well-oiled machine. She ruled the house and spoke her mind.
Bill and Hillary Clinton: Presidency was one giant party. Not trustworthy --- he was nice because he wanted everyone to like him, but to him life is just one big game and party. Everyone knows of his sexuality. She is another phony. Her personality would change the instant cameras were near. She hated with open disdain the military and Secret Service. She was another one who felt people are there to serve her. She was always trying to keep tabs on Bill Clinton.
Albert Gore: An egotistical ass, who was once overheard by his Secret Service detail lecturing his only son that he needed to do better in school or he "would end up like these guys" --- pointing to the agents.
George W. and Laura Bush: The Secret Service loved him and Laura Bush. He was also the most physically "in shape" who had a very strict workout regimen. The Bushes made sure their entire administrative and household staff understood to respect and be considerate of the Secret Service. Karl Rove was the one who was the most caring of the Secret Service in the administration. She was one of the nicest First Ladies, if not the nicest; she never had any harsh word to say about anyone.
Barack & Michelle Obama: " Clinton all over again" - hates the military and looks down on the Secret Service. He is egotistical and cunning; looks you in the eye and appears to agree with you, but turns around and does the opposite---untrustworthy. He has temper tantrums. She is a complete bitch, who hates anybody who is not black; hates the military; and looks at the Secret Service as servants.
Cowboy's Comment: I took awhile to decide to post this or not. I decided to with the caveat for people to make their own determination on the validity of these "snippets". Some we read and can just know to be true as they ring true. Other snippets are damning in and of themselves but reflect the common perception of the "class" or "entitlement" mentality. Make up your own mind.
But I do know one fact,...the Secret Service treats all Presidents, their families and cabinet officials with the respect that these office holders deserve holding these important positions in the Federal government. Just wish the Federal Government worked a little better for common Americans.

Roger Williams (R-TX) for Congress
Roger Williams, a congressional Republican candidate from Weatherford, Texas recorded this great ad. Democrats don't like it, tried to have it removed from a Ft. Worth TV station serving that congressional district. They claim it is demeaning ... I wish this guy was running in my district - I'd vote for him in a heartbeat as he seems to not only know what the problem is, but has a sense of humor as well.

Anti-Capitalism Protests
So Called "Wall Street Movement". No surprises here, as the Democrats are reportedly seeking to "own" the Wall Street Demonstrations that have risen not only in New York but other major cities as well.
What's not to like about this movement? Organized by liberal groups and unions,.......no platform other than hating wall street and capitalism,...... seemingly pissed off because they (the demonstrators) aren't successful.......most of them either having no jobs or being paid or funded by the union to demonstrate.
Does anyone know what their platform is other than to tax (over tax) the so called rich? And of course, the "rich" is a code word for anyone who makes $200,000 or $250,000 a year. Which is much, much more than what I make, but I am not in the least oriented towards begrudging anyone their salaries or perks, or retirement plans. We all know that the "rich" are the people making payroll, expanding businesses, and creating jobs,......and God knows that most of the union workers have exceptional retirement packages which have, in part, made prices here rise and caused some companies to go over seas for labor in order to even stay afloat.
So lets make sure the Dems own it:
President Obama said: "The protesters are giving voice to a more broad-based frustration about how our financial system works,".
"I support the message to the establishment," said House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-CA. "Change has to happen. We cannot continue in a way that does not - that is not relevant to their lives. People are angry."
Did you see the news report of film maker Michael Moore in the midst of the Anti-Capitalist Protestors on Wall Street?? Moore was running his big fat mouth about people making money at the expense of the people, yaga yada yada,....here is the guy who has made millions off the free market economy,...and yes by inflammatory rhetoric and lies on films he has written, produced and/or directed.

Herman Cain - An Impressive Resume
What you may not know about Herman Cain who is running for president......Thanks Tom for sending. Herman Cain is NOT a career politician (in fact he has never held political office). Mr Cain has been quoted as saying "All we have sent to Washington D.C. is politicians,.....how has that worked out for us so far?" He’s known as a pizza guy, but there’s a lot more to him. He’s also a computer guy, a banker guy, and a rocket scientist guy......and Cowboy's hope that he will be the President guy.
Here’s his bio:
* Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.
* Master’s degree in Computer Science.
* Mathematician for the Navy, where he worked on missile ballistics (making him a rocket scientist).
* Computer systems analyst for Coca-Cola.
* VP of Corporate Data Systems and Services for Pillsbury (this is the top of the ladder in the computer world, being in charge of information systems for a major corporation).
All achieved before reaching the age of 35. Since he reached the top of the information systems world, he changed careers!
* Business Manager. Took charge of Pillsbury’s 400 Burger King restaurants in the Philadelphia area, which were the company’s poorest performers in the country. Spent the first nine months learning the business from the ground up, cooking hamburger and yes, cleaning toilets. After three years he had turned them into the company’s best performers.
* Godfather’s Pizza CEO. Was asked by Pillsbury to take charge of their Godfather’s Pizza chain (which was on the verge of bankruptcy). He made it profitable in 14 months.
* In 1988 he led a buyout of the Godfather’s Pizza chain from Pillsbury. He was now the owner of a restaurant chain. Again he reached the top of the ladder of another industry.
* He was also chairman of the National Restaurant Association during this time. This is a group that interacts with government on behalf of the restaurant industry, and it gave him political experience from the non-politician side.
Having reached the top of a second industry, he changed careers again!
* Adviser to the Federal Reserve System. Herman Cain went to work for the Federal Reserve Banking System advising them on how monetary policy changes would affect American businesses.
* Chairman of the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank. He worked his way up to the chairmanship of a regional Federal Reserve bank. This is only one step below the chairmanship of the entire Federal Reserve System (the top banking position in the country). This position allowed him to see how monetary policy is made from the inside, and understand the political forces that impact the monetary system.
After reaching the top of the banking industry, he changed careers for a fourth time!
* Writer and public speaker. He then started to write and speak on leadership. His books include Speak as a Leader, CEO of Self, Leadership is Common Sense, and They Think You’re Stupid.
* Radio Host. Around 2007—after a remarkable 40 year career—he started hosting a radio show on WSB in Atlanta (the largest talk radio station in the country).
He did all this starting from rock bottom (his father was a chauffeur and his mother was a maid). When you add up his accomplishments in his life—including reaching the top of three unrelated industries: information systems, business management, and banking—
STACK THAT UP AGAINST THE 'COMMUNITY ORGANIZER'....
Herman Cain may have the most impressive resume of anyone that has run for the presidency in the last half century.
And on top of that, he seemingly won the Republican debate on Tuesday 11 October.
Chris Moody of The Ticket wrote on Yahoo! News:
There was one clear winner from Tuesday's Republican presidential debate, based on the simple metrics of name recognition: businessman Herman Cain's "9-9-9 Plan."
Virtually all the candidates at the debate table had something to say about Cain's plan to replace the tax code with three, flat nine-percent federal taxes on consumption, business and income. Cain, once delegated to the remote wings of the debate stage, has enjoyed a surge in the polls ever since he won the straw poll in Orlando, Fla., last month, and at the first debate since he joined former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and Texas Gov. Rick Perry in the top tier, Cain and his policy proposals took up more of the debate's time than the ideas floated by any other candidate.
Of course, this isn't to say that any of them praised Cain's idea. Far from it. In fact, everyone who had an opportunity took shots at the plan.
Former Utah Gov. Huntsman reduced it to "a catchy phrase" and joined former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum in saying it would never be signed into law.
Cowboy's Comment: Cain's response to Santorum,......"That's how politician's think,.....what can and cannot be signed into law because of politics. I'm a businessman,....I think of what HAS to be done."

Associated Press Gets It Right
If you have been like me, yelling at the television whenever Obama, or Harry Reid or some other Democratic stooge say's something to the effect that the Republicans are holding up the jobs bill and are killing any possible economic progress that Obama has plans for, then you'll appreciate one of the mainstream media articles exposing Obama's spin of the facts.
It has been a long time coming for the love affair between the liberal mainstream media and Obama to mellow. It had to sooner or later or the mainstream media, both television and print, will lose whatever respect and credibility that they have left from the public. They already have lost significant respect and viewers as evident by viewer ratings for CNN, MSNBC and others.......nonetheless still glad to see there is some good sense still in print.
The AP article, entitled: "SPIN METER: Obama disconnects rhetoric, reality"
WASHINGTON (AP) — In President Barack Obama's sales pitch for his jobs bill, there are two versions of reality: The one in his speeches and the one actually unfolding in Washington.
When Obama accuses Republicans of standing in the way of his nearly $450 billion plan, he ignores the fact that his own party has struggled to unite behind the proposal.
When the president says Republicans haven't explained what they oppose in the plan, he skips over the fact that Republicans who control the House actually have done that in detail.
And when he calls on Congress to "pass this bill now," he slides past the point that Democrats control the Senate and were never prepared to move immediately, given other priorities. Senators are expected to vote Tuesday on opening debate on the bill, a month after the president unveiled it with a call for its immediate passage.
To be sure, Obama is not the only one engaging in rhetorical excesses. But he is the president, and as such, his constant remarks on the bill draw the most attention and scrutiny.
The disconnect between what Obama says about his jobs bill and what stands as the political reality flow from his broader aim: to rally the public behind his cause and get Congress to act, or, if not, to pin blame on Republicans.
He is waging a campaign, one in which nuance and context and competing responses don't always fit in if they don't help make the case.
For example, when Obama says his jobs plan is made up of ideas that have historically had bipartisan support, he stops the point there. Not mentioned is that Republicans have never embraced the tax increases that he is proposing to cover the cost of his plan.
Likewise, from city to city, Obama is demanding that Congress act (he means Republicans) while it has been clear for weeks that the GOP will not support all of his bill, to say the least. Individual elements of it may well pass, such as Obama's proposal to extend and expand a payroll tax cut. But Republicans strongly oppose the president's proposed new spending and his plan to raise taxes on millionaires to pay for the package.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., tried to force a vote on the bill last week, innocently claiming that the president was entitled to a vote. McConnell knew full well that the result would be failure for the legislation and an embarrassment for Obama. Cowboy's comment:Harry Reid would not let the vote happen, which of course is a fact lost from any public commentary or Obama speech.
Anyway, I think you get the idea,......click here to read the full article.

Needed: Food Stamps Reform
I was in a convenience store the other day and a young very overweight, even obese mother with her approximate 6 year old very overweight daughter was in front of me, buying big Fountain soft drinks, bags of chips and hot dogs, paying for them, of course, with food stamps.
I know, I know it's seemingly really none of my business, but if this woman has a right to buy whatever she wants with tax payer funded food stamps, then I have a right to get mad about it, both from the aspect of what she is buying and the point that this woman and her daughter are going to be burdens on the healthcare system (not to mention the welfare system). The damn shame of it is that the daughter
doesn't know any better and relys on her mom to take care of her. Well, like I have been told "you don't have to pass a test to be a parent."
Another thing to get mad about is a grocery recepit found in a parking lot in Michigan,....all bought on tax payer funded food stamps mind you.
In case it's hard to read the receipt lists: Five 24 can packs of (sugar laden) Mountain Dew, a bunch of Lobster and Porterhouse Steaks,....
You tell me with a straight face that we don't need food stamp reform. Drug testing for receiptants, for sure. Credit card type Food Stamp Photo Identification cards with a spending limit and has to be re-charged at a HHS office so the benefits cannot be sold or bartered for alcohol or drugs,...damn right. Let's include income means testing and visits by HHS investigators as well.

Housing Crunch Explained
Does anyone really understand the the housing crunch and how Democrats (can anyone say Barney Frank and Chris Dodd?) worked to get Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to give mortgages to people who could not pay them back? People are scratching their heads and thinking "just how does that create a problem other than for the people who now have to be evicted because of their inability to pay?" Well, maybe this story will help.......
Heidi is the proprietor of a bar in Detroit.
She realizes that virtually all of her customers are unemployed alcoholics and, as such, can no longer afford to patronize her bar.
To solve this problem, she comes up with a new marketing plan that allows her customers to drink now, but pay later.
Heidi keeps track of the drinks consumed on a ledger (thereby granting the customers' loans).
Word gets around about Heidi's "drink now, pay later" marketing strategy and, as a result, increasing numbers of customers flood into Heidi's bar. Soon she has the largest sales volume for any bar in Detroit.
By providing her customers freedom from immediate payment demands, Heidi gets no resistance when, at regular intervals, she substantially increases her prices for wine and beer, the most consumed beverages.
Consequently, Heidi's gross sales volume increases massively.
A young and dynamic vice-president at the local bank recognizes that these customer debts constitute valuable future assets and increases Heidi's borrowing limit.
He sees no reason for any undue concern, since he has the debts of the unemployed alcoholics as collateral!!!
At the bank's corporate headquarters, expert traders figure a way to make huge commissions, and transform these customer loans into DRINK BONDS.
These "securities" then are bundled and traded on international securities markets.
Naive investors don't really understand that the securities being sold to them as "AAA Secured Bonds" really are debts of unemployed alcoholics. Nevertheless, the bond prices continuously climb!!!, and the securities soon become the hottest-selling items for some of the nation's leading brokerage houses.
One day, even though the bond prices still are climbing, a risk manager at the original local bank decides that the time has come to demand payment on the debts incurred by the drinkers at Heidi's bar. He so informs Heidi.
Heidi then demands payment from her alcoholic patrons, but being unemployed alcoholics they cannot pay back their drinking debts.
Since Heidi cannot fulfill her loan obligations she is forced into bankruptcy. The bar closes and Heidi's 11 employees lose their jobs.
Overnight, DRINK BOND prices drop by 90%.
The collapsed bond asset value destroys the bank's liquidity and prevents it from issuing new loans, thus freezing credit and economic activity in the community.
The suppliers of Heidi's bar had granted her generous payment extensions and had invested their firms' pension funds in the BOND securities. They find they are now faced with having to write off her bad debt and with losing over 90% of the
presumed value of the bonds.
Her wine supplier also claims bankruptcy, closing the doors on a family business that had endured for three generations, her beer supplier is taken over by a competitor, who immediately closes the local plant and lays off 150 workers.
Fortunately though, the bank, the brokerage houses and their respective executives are saved and bailed out by a multibillion dollar no-strings attached cash infusion from the government.
The funds required for this bailout are obtained by new taxes levied on employed, middle-class, nondrinkers who have never been in Heidi's bar.
NOW DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!

Who Are The Racists?
Every since Herman Cain recently said words to the effect that Blacks are brain washed in voting for Democrats, there has been a national debate on television news and somewhat in the printed media about which party best supports Black Americans.
There is no doubt that common perception is the the Republicans are the party of rich white people and the Democrats are the party for the poor, middle class and minorities. Well, in this case the truth does not lie in the middle......it is on the other end of the perception. Republicans are the ones since Abe Lincoln who have stood up for minorities, voting for the civil right act, cutting the bottom tax rates, using the military to enforce desegregation. The Democrats are the party who tried to kill the Civil Rights act, elected a former KKK member as Senator (the name Robert Byrd ring a bell?).
The Democrats have long tried and been overall successful as billing conservatives as "racists". In fact, in recent years the "race card" or making everything a racial debate as been successful in furthering Democrat policies and objectives. The Tea Party has been vilified as racists when in fact, you need to look no further than their overwhelming support for Herman Cain as proof that the Tea Party
movement is not about race.
Compare that to Democrat lawmakers who complain that Conservative calls for drug screening as a pre-requisite for welfare are racist. "Racist? How so you ask?" "Because it is clearly designed to keep welfare payments to Blacks", cry the Democrats. "Not unless you prejudge Blacks as drug users", says common sense.
Other elements or examples of racial themes are the concept that Barack Obama, being a Black man (actually he is half black but that's no different one way or another), would never garner enough white votes to get elected, especially with his lack of experience in anything but community organizing. Well, the election in November of 2008 sure proved that wrong. Now balance that with the fact that over 92% of Black American's voted for Obama. Now, who are the racists? In this case, voting their race rather than the best candidate.
Enter Herman Cain, a highly successful businessman, news and talk radio commentator, survivor of Stage IV cancer and former Federal Reserve Chairman. His view on the "brainwashing" of blacks is that through entitlements and set asides, the Democrats have been creating a false truth that the Dems, and only the Dems, are the party that is looking out for minorities. Herman Cain calls this something to the effect of "keeping blacks on the government plantation". And I think a responsible person would agree that this is "Giving a Man a Fish so he can eat today (and become dependant upon you)" concept as opposed to "Teaching Him to fish so he can catch his own fish every day and take care of himself and his family" philosophy.

Obamacare Top Item on Supreme Court Term Agenda
Obamacare will be on the agenda in the new Supreme Court term that opens today, setting the stage for one of the most important decisions in decades.
We'll also see cases argued including using Law Enforcement use of GPS tracking devices without a warrant; prisoner rights issues with strip searches in jail; and free speech arguments involving radio broadcasters and television "excited utterances" with expletives.
Additionally, there are several other important cases that may make their way to the Supreme Court including racial set asides for college admissions; homosexual-lesbian adoption rights; Arizona Illegal Immigration law.
The Obama healthcare law, which of course not counting Obama's rapid and historical depletion of this Nation's treasure through gigantic debt spending, is his top signature accomplishment (too bad both "accomplishments" are destroying this nation), and after being ruled unconstitutional in many states, the Supreme Court challenge sets up one of the most important tests of the powers of the Federal
Government vice the states, as well as the U.S. Constitution possibly ever to be decided by the Supreme Court.
note: There are 26 states with lawsuits against the federal government over Obamacare.
The latest pre-Supreme ruling on Obamacare came from U.S. appeals court ruling in Atlanta that struck down the law's mandate that all Americans have health insurance. Of course, Obama's defense is that Congress adopted the law to address a national crisis that put health insurance costs beyond the reach of millions of Americans and denied coverage to millions more. But we know that's a lie. The
Democrats, and the Democrats alone, jammed this bill down the throats of Americans, pushing aside Republicans during the what? 12 hours of analysis before the bill was voted on? Remember Nancy "the babbling idiot" Pelosi saying that "we'll have to sign the bill (and enact it into law), to find out what's in it".

BET Founder tells Obama to Back Off
Black Entertainment Television founder Robert Johnson bashed Barack Obama yesterday on Fox News. The highly successful entrepreneur said “The president needs to change his message. You don’t get people to like you by attacking them or demeaning their success.”
This is of course a response to Obama's class warfare trying to take the exposure off his failures to get the economy moving and instead place it on his rhetoric that wealthier Americans need to pay more of their fair share on taxes. And you know what? No liberal to date has answered the questions, "what is a fair share?" We all know that richer Americans not ony pay a higher percentage of taxes, but much more taxes in amounts too. Not to mention the fact that is not the welfare family that is creating jobs,....it is the investors who have money to invest and expand. If,...and a big if this is,....government over regulation could be deregulated and a consistent fair tax could be counted on.
Robert Johnson, continued in his interview with words to the effect that "....Obama wants me to take a bigger hit (on taxes) because I am wealthy. I did not go into business to create a policy success for either party, .......I went into business to create jobs, to create opportunity, to create value for myself and my investors. In regards to Warren Buffet's statement that he is paying less taxes than his secretary,......he should pay his secretary more.
